Psaumes 86
1 Une prière de David. Écoute, Yahvé, et réponds-moi, car je suis pauvre et nécessiteux.
A Prayer Of David. Bow down thine ear, O LORD, and answer me; for I am poor and needy.
2 Préserve mon âme, car je suis pieux. Toi, mon Dieu, tu sauves ton serviteur qui se confie en toi.
Preserve my soul; for I am godly: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
3 Sois miséricordieux envers moi, Seigneur, car je t'appelle toute la journée.
Be merciful unto me, O Lord; for unto thee do I cry all the day long.
4 Rends la joie à l'âme de ton serviteur, car c'est vers toi, Seigneur, que j'élève mon âme.
Rejoice the soul of thy servant; for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
5 Car toi, Seigneur, tu es bon, et prêt à pardonner, abondant en bonté aimante envers tous ceux qui font appel à toi.
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
6 Écoute, Yahvé, ma prière. Écoutez la voix de mes requêtes.
Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and hearken unto the voice of my supplications.
7 Au jour de ma détresse, je t'invoquerai, car tu me répondras.
In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee; for thou wilt answer me.
8 Il n'y a personne comme toi parmi les dieux, Seigneur, ni aucun acte semblable à vos actes.
There is none like unto thee among the gods, O Lord; neither [are there any works] like unto thy works.
9 Toutes les nations que tu as créées viendront se prosterner devant toi, Seigneur. Ils glorifieront ton nom.
All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and they shall glorify thy name.
10 Car tu es grand, et tu fais des choses merveilleuses. Vous êtes Dieu seul.
For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.
11 Enseigne-moi ta voie, Yahvé. Je marcherai dans ta vérité. Fais que mon cœur soit uni pour craindre ton nom.
Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
12 Je te louerai, Seigneur mon Dieu, de tout mon cœur. Je glorifierai ton nom pour toujours.
I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify thy name for evermore.
For great is thy mercy toward me; and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest pit. (Sheol h7585)
14 Dieu, les orgueilleux se sont levés contre moi. Une troupe d'hommes violents a cherché mon âme, et ils n'ont pas d'égard pour vous devant eux.
O God, the proud are risen up against me, and the congregation of violent men have sought after my soul, and have not set thee before them.
15 Mais toi, Seigneur, tu es un Dieu miséricordieux et compatissant, lent à la colère, et abondant en bonté et en vérité.
But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
16 Tournez-vous vers moi, et ayez pitié de moi! Donne ta force à ton serviteur. Sauve le fils de ton serviteur.
O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.
17 Montre-moi un signe de ta bonté, afin que ceux qui me haïssent puissent le voir et en avoir honte, car toi, Yahvé, tu m'as aidé et réconforté.
Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed, because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me,
