< Zekaria 4 >
1 Mawudɔla si ƒo nu kplim la, trɔ gbɔ va nyɔm abe ɖe menɔ alɔ̃ dɔm ene.
Then the angel I had been talking to returned and got my attention, like waking someone from sleep.
2 Ebiam be, “Azɔ la, nu ka kpɔm nèle?” Meɖo eŋu be, “Mele sikakaɖiti si dzi wotsɔ agba da ɖo, eye akaɖi adre le agba sia tame, alɔ adre siwo me do le la to akaɖiti ɖe sia ɖe me ge ɖe agba la me.
“What do you see?” he asked me. “I see a lampstand made of solid gold with a bowl at its top having seven lamps on it, each with seven lips.
3 Amiti eve le axawo dzi nɛ; ɖeka le ɖusime, evelia le miame.”
I also see olive trees, one to the right and one to the left of the bowl.”
4 Mebia mawudɔla si ƒo nu kplim la be, “Nu kawoe nye esiawo, nye aƒetɔ?”
Then I asked the angel I was talking to, “What are these, my lord?”
5 Mawudɔla la trɔ biam be, “Vavã, mènya nu si nu siawo nye oa?” Meɖo eŋu be, “Ao, nye Aƒetɔ.”
“Don't you know what these are?” the angel replied. “No, my lord,” I responded.
6 Egblɔ nam be, “Esia nye Yehowa ƒe gbedeasi na Zerubabel: ‘Menye ŋusẽ alo kalẽ o, ke boŋ Mawu ƒe Gbɔgbɔe.’ Yehowa Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ lae gblɔe.
Then he told me, “This is the Lord's message to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord Almighty.
7 “Nu ka nènye, O, to si ŋu ŋusẽ le? Àzu anyigba sɔsɔe le Zerubabel ŋkume, ahe tamekpe la ado goe ne ɣli le ɖiɖim be, ‘Mawu neyrae! Mawu neyrae!’”
Even obstacles as big as mountains will be flattened before Zerubbabel. Finally he will bring out the capstone to shouts of ‘Blessings on it!’”
8 Tete Yehowa ƒe gbe va nam be,
Then the Lord gave me another message.
9 “Zerubabel ƒe asie ɖo gbedoxɔ sia ƒe gɔmeɖokpe anyi, eya ta eƒe asie awu enu. Ekema mianya be Yehowa Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ lae dɔm ɖe mia gbɔ.
Zerubbabel with his own hands laid the foundations for this Temple, and it will be completed the same way. Then you will know the Lord Almighty has sent me.
10 “Ame ka ado vlo ŋkeke si nuwo dze egɔme sue? Dzi adzɔ amewo, ne wokpɔ dzidzeka le Zerubabel ƒe asi me. Akaɖi adre siawoe nye Yehowa ƒe ŋku siwo wòtsɔna tsana le anyigba katã dzii.”
For who dares look down on this time of small beginnings? They will be happy when they see the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand. “The seven lamps represent the eyes of the Lord which see all over the world.”
11 Mebia mawudɔla la be, “Nu kae nye amiti eve siwo le ɖusime kple miame na akaɖiti la?”
Then I asked the angel, “What are the two olive trees that stand to the right and the left of the lampstand?”
12 Megabia be, “Nu kawoe nye amiti ƒe alɔdze eve siwo le sika ƒe alɔ siwo me sikami dona tsona?”
And I also asked him, “What are the two olive branches from which the golden oil pours out from through golden pipes?”
13 Eɖo eŋu be, “Mènya nu si wonye oa?” Megblɔ be, “Ao, nye aƒetɔ.”
“Don't you know?” the angel replied. “No, my lord,” I responded.
14 Ale wògblɔ nam be, “Woawoe nye ame eve siwo wosi ami na be woasubɔ anyigba blibo la ƒe Aƒetɔ.”
“These are the two who have been anointed who stand by the Lord of all the earth,” he replied.
