1 Ele na wò be nàfia nu si nye nufiafia si de blibo.
You yourself however do speak [the things] that are consistent with sound doctrine.
2 Fia ame tsitsiwo be woafa tu, woanye ame siwo dze na bubu, ɖokuidziɖulawo, ame siwo ƒe xɔse de blibo le lɔlɔ̃ kple tenɔnɔ me.
[The] aged [men] sober-minded are to be, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, in endurance.
3 Nenema ke, fia nyɔnu tsitsiwo be woafa tu, eye woabu ame le woƒe nuwɔna ɖe sia ɖe me. Womanye ame siwo nɔa tsatsam, nɔa nya vlowo gblɔm tso amewo ŋu la o, eye womanye ahatsunolawo hã o.
[the] aged [women] likewise in behavior reverent, not slanderers, (not *NK(o)*) to wine much enslaved, teachers of what is good,
4 Ele be nyɔnu tsitsi siawo nafia ɖetugbiwo ale si woafa tui, eye woalɔ̃ wo srɔ̃wo kple wo viwoe.
so that (they may train *NK(o)*) the young [women] lovers of [their] husbands to be, loving [their] children,
5 Fia wo be woanye ɖokuidziɖulawo, ame dzadzɛwo, aƒemedɔwɔlawo, dɔmenyotɔwo kple ame siwo bɔbɔa wo ɖokui na woawo ŋutɔ srɔ̃wo be ame aɖeke magblɔ nya tovo ɖe Mawu ƒe nya la ŋu o.
self-controlled, pure (busy at home *N(k)O*) kind, being subject to [their] own husbands, so that not the word of God may be denigrated.
6 Nenema ke, do ŋusẽ ɖekakpuiwo be woanye ɖokuidziɖulawo.
The younger [men] likewise do exhort to be self-controlled,
7 Tsɔ ɖokuiwò ɖo kpɔɖeŋui na wo le nu sia nu me, to nu si nyo la wɔwɔ me. Ɖe nuteƒewɔwɔ kple moveviɖoɖo fia le wò nufiafia me.
In all things yourself be holding forth [as] a pattern of good works, in the teaching (unspoilable *K*) incorruptable, dignity
8 Kpe ɖe esiawo ŋu la, wò nuƒoƒo neto mɔ ɖeka be womakpɔ kpɔtsɔtsɔ le eŋu o, ale be ŋu nakpe ame siwo tsia tsitre ɖe ŋuwò la, elabena nya vɔ̃ aɖeke mele wo si woagblɔ tso mía ŋu o.
speech sound, beyond reproach, so that he who is of the contrary may be ashamed nothing having to say concerning (us *N(K)O*) evil.
9 Fia kluviwo be woaɖo to woƒe aƒetɔwo le nu sia nu me, woadze agbagba awɔ nu adze wo ŋu, eye womegaɖo nya ŋu na woƒe aƒetɔwo o.
Servants to [their] own masters are to be subject, in everything well-pleasing to be, not gainsaying,
10 Fia wo hã be womegafi woƒe aƒetɔwo o, ke boŋ woaɖe nuteƒewɔwɔ nyui afia be woate ŋu aka ɖe wo dzi blibo ɣe sia ɣi ale be le mɔ ɖe sia ɖe nu la, woawɔ nufiafia tso Mawu, míaƒe Ɖela ŋu wòadze ame ŋu.
not pilfering but all fidelity showing good, so that the doctrine (which [is] *no*) of the Savior (of us *NK(O)*) God they may adorn in all things.
11 Elabena Mawu ƒe amenuveve si hea ɖeɖe vanɛ la do na amewo katã.
Has appeared for the grace of God (*k*) [bringing] salvation to all men
12 Efia mí be míagblɔ “Ao” na mawumavɔmavɔ̃ kple xexemenudzodzrowo, eye míanɔ agbe le ɖokuidziɖuɖu, dzɔdzɔenyenye kple mawuvɔvɔ̃ me le fifixexea me, (aiōn )
instructing us that having denied ungodliness and worldly passions discreetly and righteously and piously we may live in the present age (aiōn )
13 esi míele lalam na yayraŋkeke si míele mɔ kpɔm na, yayraŋkeke si dzi woaɖe míaƒe Mawu gã kple Ɖela Yesu Kristo ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe afia le.
awaiting the blessed hope and [the] appearing of the glory of the great God and Savior of us Jesus Christ
14 Ame si tsɔ eɖokui na ɖe mía ta be yeaɖe mí tso vɔ̃ɖinyenye katã me, be wòakɔ mía ŋuti na eɖokui, ame siwo nye eya ŋutɔ tɔ, eye wole klalo be woawɔ nu si nyo la.
who gave Himself for us that He may redeem us from all lawlessness and may purify to Himself a people specially chosen, zealous of good works.
15 Eya ta fia nu siawo. De dzi ƒo na wò ameawo, eye nàka mo na wo kple ŋusẽ katã. Mègana ame aɖeke nado vlo wò o.
These things do speak and do exhort and do rebuke with all authority. No one you should despise.
