< Psalmowo 77 >
1 Asaf ƒe ha na Hɛnɔ Yedutun. Medo ɣli na Mawu be wòaxɔ nam; medo ɣli na Mawu be wòaɖo tom.
To the chief Musician. On Jeduthun. Of Asaph. A Psalm. My voice is unto God, and I will cry; my voice is unto God, and he will give ear unto me.
2 Esi meɖo xaxa me la, medi Aƒetɔ la; le zã me la, meke nye abɔwo me, gake ɖeɖi mete wo ŋu o, eye nye luʋɔ gbe akɔfafaxɔxɔ.
In the day of my trouble, I sought the Lord: my hand was stretched out in the night, and slacked not; my soul refused to be comforted.
3 O! Mawu, meɖo ŋku dziwò, eye meɖe hũu. Mele ŋeŋem, eye nu te nye gbɔgbɔ ŋu. (Sela)
I remembered God, and I moaned; I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. (Selah)
4 Èna nye ŋkuwo gbe miamia; fuɖeɖewo sɔ gbɔ ale gbegbe be nyemate ŋu aƒo nu o.
Thou holdest open mine eyelids; I am full of disquiet and cannot speak.
5 Mebu gbe aɖe gbe ŋkekewo kple blemaƒewo ŋu.
I consider the days of old, the years of ancient times.
6 Tete meɖo ŋku ha siwo medzina le zã me la dzi. Nye dzi gbã, eye nye gbɔgbɔ bia be:
I remember my song in the night; I muse in mine own heart, and my spirit maketh diligent search.
7 “Ɖe Aƒetɔ la agbe ame tegbetegbea? Ɖe magave ame nu akpɔ oa?
Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?
8 Ɖe eƒe lɔlɔ̃ si meʋãna o la vɔ tegbetegbea? Ɖe eƒe ŋugbedodo vɔ hena ɣeyiɣiawo katã?
Hath his loving-kindness ceased for ever? hath [his] word come to an end from generation to generation?
9 Ɖe Mawu ŋlɔ nublanuikpɔkpɔ bea? Ɖe wòɖo asi eƒe dɔmenyonyo dzi le dɔmedzoe ta?” (Sela)
Hath God forgotten to be gracious? or hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? (Selah)
10 Tete megblɔ be, “Dziƒoʋĩtɔ la ƒe nuɖusi ƒe ƒewo ko maƒo koko na.”
Then said I, This is my weakness: — the years of the right hand of the Most High
11 Maɖo ŋku Yehowa ƒe nuwɔwɔwo dzi, ɛ̃, maɖo ŋku nukunu siwo nèwɔ le blema la dzi.
Will I remember, — the works of Jah; for I will remember thy wonders of old,
12 Made ŋugble le wò dɔwɔwɔwo katã ŋu, eye mabu ta me le wò nuwɔwɔ dzɔatsuwo ŋu.
And I will meditate upon all thy work, and muse upon thy doings.
13 O! Mawu, wò mɔwo le kɔkɔe mawu kae lolo abe míaƒe Mawu la ene?
O God, thy way is in the sanctuary: who is so great a god as God?
14 Wòe nye Mawu si wɔ nukunuwo, eye nèɖe wò ŋusẽ fia le dukɔwo dome.
Thou art the God that doest wonders; thou hast declared thy strength among the peoples.
15 Ètsɔ wò abɔ sesẽ la ɖe wò dukɔ la, ame siwo nye Yakob kple Yosef ƒe dzidzimeviwo. (Sela)
Thou hast with [thine] arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)
16 O! Mawu, tsiwo kpɔ wò, tsiwo kpɔ wò, eye woŋe, gogloƒewo ke hã dzo nyanyanya.
The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they trembled, yea, the depths were troubled:
17 Lilikpo ɖuɖu tsi bababa, dziŋgɔli ɖe gbe, eye wò aŋutrɔwo klẽ dzo bibibi, yi gagbɔ.
The thick clouds poured out water; the skies sent out a sound, yea, thine arrows went abroad:
18 Wose wò gbeɖeɖe le yali me, wò dzikedzo klẽ ɖe xexea me, eye anyigba ʋuʋu hedzo nyanyanya.
The voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind, lightnings lit up the world; the earth was troubled and it quaked.
19 Wò mɔ to atsiaƒu me, eye wò toƒe le tɔ gãwo me, gake womekpɔa wò afɔteƒe o.
Thy way is in the sea, and thy paths are in the great waters; and thy footsteps are not known.
20 Èkplɔ wò dukɔ abe alẽha ene, to Mose kple Aron ƒe asiwo dzi.
Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
