< Psalmowo 132 >
1 Mɔzɔha. O! Yehowa, ɖo ŋku David kple fukpekpe siwo katã me wòto la dzi.
A Song of Degrees. Lord, remember David, and all his meekness:
2 Eka atam na Yehowa, eye wòɖe adzɔgbe na Yakob ƒe Ŋusẽtɔ la be,
how he sware to the Lord, [and] vowed to the God of Jacob, [saying],
3 “Nyemage ɖe aƒenye me, alo aɖamlɔ nye aba dzi o.
I will not go into the tabernacle of my house; I will not go up to the couch of my bed;
4 Nyemana nye ŋkuwo nadɔ alɔ̃, alo nye aɖaba nadɔ akɔlɔ̃e o,
I will not give sleep to mine eyes, nor slumber to mine eyelids, nor rest to my temples,
until I find a place for the Lord, a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.
6 Míesee le Efrata, eye míedo goe le Yaar gbegbe be,
Behold, we heard of it in Ephratha; we found it in the fields of the wood.
7 “Mina míayi ɖe enɔƒe, mina míade ta agu ɖe eƒe afɔɖodzinu ŋgɔ.
Let us enter into his tabernacles: let us worship at the place where his feet stood.
8 O! Yehowa, tso, ne nàva wò gbɔɖemeƒe, wò kple wò ŋusẽ ƒe nubablaɖaka la gbɔ.
Arise, O Lord, into your rest; you, and the ark of your holiness.
9 Wò nunɔlawo nedo dzɔdzɔenyenye ƒe awu, eye wò ame kɔkɔewo nedzi ha le dzidzɔkpɔkpɔ ta.”
Your priests shall clothe themselves with righteousness; and your saints shall exult.
For the sake of your servant David turn not away the face of your anointed.
The Lord sware [in] truth to David, and he will not annul it, [saying], Of the fruit of your body will I set [a king] upon your throne.
12 Nenema ke ne viwò ŋutsuwo lé nye nubabla kple nye se siwo mefia wo me ɖe asi la, ekema wo viwo anɔ wò fiazikpui dzi tso mavɔ me yi ɖe mavɔ me.”
If your children will deep my covenant, and these my testimonies which I shall teach them, their children also shall sit upon your throne for ever.
13 Elabena Yehowa tia Zion, eye wòtiae be wòanye ye nɔƒe be,
For the Lord has elected Sion, he has chosen her for a habitation for himself, [saying],
14 “Esia nye nye gbɔɖemeƒe tso mavɔ me yi ɖe mavɔ me, afi siae manɔ fiazikpui dzi le gli, elabena nye ŋutɔe tiae.”
This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have chosen it.
15 Matsɔ nu nyui geɖewo ayrae, eye matsɔ nuɖuɖu aɖi ƒoe na eƒe ame dahewo.
I will surely bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
16 Mado xɔxɔ ƒe awu na eƒe nunɔlawo, eye eƒe ame kɔkɔewo adzi ha le dzidzɔkpɔkpɔ ta tegbetegbe.
I will clothe her priests with salvation; and her saints shall greatly exult.
There will I cause to spring up a horn to David: I have prepared a lamp for mine anointed.
18 Matsɔ ŋukpe ado na eƒe futɔwo, ke fiakuku si anɔ eƒe ta la, anɔ keklẽm.”
His enemies will I clothe with a shame; but upon himself shall my holiness flourish.
