< Yohanes 19 >

1 Ale Pilato na woƒo Yesu kple atam.
At that time therefore took Pilate Jesus and flogged [Him].
2 Asrafowo wɔ ŋukuku ɖɔ nɛ. Wodo awu dzĩ nɛ,
And the soldiers having twisted together a crown of thorns put [it] of Him on the head and a robe purple cast around Him
3 eye woyi egbɔ zi geɖe, eye woɖu fewu le eŋu gblɔ be, “Miedo gbe na wò Yudatɔwo ƒe fia.” Eye woƒo tome nɛ.
(and they were coming up to Him *NO*) and were saying; Hail! O King of the Jews! And they were giving to Him blows with the palm.
4 Pilato gado go va xexe, eye wògblɔ na Yudatɔwo be, “Mele ekplɔ ge ado goe na mi, gake minya esia be nyemekpɔ fɔɖiɖi aɖeke le eŋu o.”
(And *no*) went forth (therefore *K*) again outside Pilate and he says to them; Behold I bring to you Him out, so that you may know that no [thing] guilt I find in Him.
5 Wokplɔ Yesu do goe. Wodo awu dzĩ nɛ, tsɔ ŋukuku ɖɔ nɛ. Pilato gblɔ na wo be, “Miaƒe ame lae nye esi.”
Went forth therefore Jesus outside wearing the thorny crown and the purple robe. And he says to them; (behold *N(k)O*) the man!
6 Esi nunɔlagãwo kple woƒe asrafowo kpɔ Yesu la, wodo ɣli sesĩe be, “Klãe ɖe ati ŋuti! Klãe ɖe ati ŋuti!” Pilato gblɔ na wo be, “Miawo ŋutɔ miyi ɖaklãe ɖe ati ŋu. Nye la, nyemekpɔ fɔɖiɖi aɖeke le eŋuti o.”
When therefore saw Him the chief priests and the officers, they cried out saying; do crucify do crucify (him. *k*) Says to them Pilate; do take Him yourselves and do crucify [him]; I myself for no find in Him guilt.
7 Yudatɔwo ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Le míaƒe se nu la, ele be wòaku, elabena egblɔ be Mawu ƒe Vi yenye.”
Answered to him the Jews; We ourselves a law have, and according to the law (of us *k*) He ought to die, because [the] Son of God Himself He made.
8 Esi Pilato se nya sia la, vɔvɔ̃ ɖoe wu tsã,
When therefore heard Pilate this word [the] more he was afraid
9 eye wògage ɖe fiasã la me, eye wòbia Yesu be, “Afi ka nètso?” Gake Yesu meɖo nya la ŋu nɛ o.
And he went into the Praetorium again and he says to Jesus; From where are You yourself? But Jesus an answer not did give to him.
10 Pilato gblɔ be, “Mèle nya ŋu ɖo ge nam oa? Ènya be ŋusẽ le asinye be maɖe asi le ŋuwò alo mana woaklã wò ɖe ati ŋua?”
Says therefore to Him Pilate; To me myself not speak You? Surely You know that authority I have to release You and authority I have to crucify You?
11 Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Màte ŋu akpɔ ŋusẽ aɖeke ɖe dzinye nenye be womena wò tso dziƒo o, eya ta ame si kplɔm vɛ na wò la ƒe nu vɔ̃ sɔ gbɔ wu tɔwò.”
Answered (to him *N(K)O*) Jesus; Not you were having authority against Me none, only unless it were given to you from above; Because of this the [one] (having betrayed *N(k)O*) Me to you greater sin has.
12 Tso esia dzi la, Pilato di vevie be yeaɖe asi le Yesu ŋu, gake Yudatɔwo ƒe kplɔlawo nɔ ɣlidodo dzi gblɔ nɛ be, “Ne èɖe asi le ame sia ŋu la, ekema mènye Kaisaro xɔlɔ̃ o. Ame si tsɔ eɖokui wɔ fiae la tsi tsitre ɖe Kaisaro ŋu.”
Out of this Pilate was seeking to release Him. but the Jews (cried out *N(k)O*) saying; If this [man] you shall release, not you are a friend of Caesar. Everyone a king (himself *N(k)O*) making speaks against Caesar.
13 Esi Pilato se nya siawo la, ekplɔ Yesu do goe, eye wòyi ɖanɔ anyi ɖe eƒe ʋɔnudrɔ̃zikpui la dzi. Woda ʋɔnudrɔ̃zikpui sia ɖe kpe gbadza aɖe dzi le teƒe si woyɔna be Kpe Gbadza (si woyɔna le Hebrigbe me be Gabata).
Therefore Pilate having heard (words these *N(k)O*) brought out Jesus and sat down upon (of the *k*) judgment seat at a place being named [the] Stone Pavement, in Hebrew now Gabbatha.
14 Enye dzadzraɖoŋkeke na Ŋutitotoŋkekenyui la; anye gaƒoƒo adelia me. Pilato gblɔ na Yudatɔwo be, “Miaƒe fia lae nye esi!”
It was now [the] Day of Preparation of the Passover, [the] hour (was about *N(k)O*) [the] sixth. And he says to the Jews; Behold the king of you!
15 Gake wodo ɣli sesĩe be, “Mikplɔe dzoe! Mikplɔe dzoe! Miklãe ɖe ati ŋuti!” Pilato bia wo be, “Maklã miaƒe fia la ɖe ati ŋua?” Nunɔlagãwo ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Fia aɖeke mele mía si o, negbe Kaisaro ko.”
(now *k*) They cried out (therefore *NO*) (concerning Him: *no*) away away! do crucify Him! Says to them Pilate; The King of you shall I crucify? Answered the chief priests; Not we have a king only except Caesar.
Then therefore he delivered Him to them that He may be crucified. They took (therefore *N(K)O*) Jesus (and *K*) (they led [him] away; *K(o)*)
17 Wotsɔ eƒe atitsoga la da ɖe abɔta nɛ be wòakɔ, eye wokplɔe do go le dua me ɖo ta “Ametakoloeƒe” (si woyɔna be “Golgata” le Hebrigbe me).
And bearing (His own *N(k)O*) cross He went out to (the [place] *NK(o)*) being named of the Skull Place, (which *N(k)O*) is named in Hebrew Golgotha,
18 Afi siae woklã Yesu ɖe ati ŋu le, eye woklã adzodala eve hã ɖe eƒe axawo kple eve dzi, eye Yesu nɔ woƒe titina.
where Him they crucified and with Him others two on this side and on that side, in between now Jesus.
19 Pilato ŋlɔ klã ɖe Yesu ƒe atitsoga la tame be, Yesu Nazaretitɔ, Yudatɔwo ƒe Fia.
Wrote then also a title Pilate and put [it] on the cross. It was now written: Jesus of Nazareth the King of the Jews.
Woŋlɔ nya siawo ɖe Hebrigbe, Romagbe kple Helagbe me be ame sia ame nate ŋu axlẽe.
This therefore the title many read of the Jews, for near was the place of the city where was crucified Jesus; and it was written in Hebrew, in Latin, in Greek.
21 Yudatɔwo ƒe nunɔlagãwo va gblɔ na Pilato be, “Mègaŋlɔe be, ‘Yudatɔwo ƒe fia’ o, ke boŋ ŋlɔe be ame sia be yee nye Yudatɔwo ƒe fia.”
Were saying therefore to Pilate the chief priests of the Jews; Not do write; The King of the Jews, but for He said; King I am of the Jews.
22 Pilato ɖo eŋu na wo be, “Nu si meŋlɔ la, meŋlɔe xoxo.”
Answered Pilate; What I have written, I have written.
The then soldiers, when they crucified Jesus, took the garments of Him and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and also the tunic. Was now the tunic seamless, from the top woven throughout all.
24 Eya ta wogblɔ na wo nɔewo be, “Menyo be miavuvui o, ke boŋ mina miada akɔ, eye ame si ɖu dzi la naxɔe.” Esia va eme be wòawu ŋɔŋlɔ la nu be, “Woma nye awuwo na wo nɔewo, eye woda akɔ ɖe nye awu ʋlaya dzi.” Alea asrafoawo wɔ.
They said therefore to one another; Not let us tear up it, but let us cast lots for it whose it will be; that the Scripture may be fulfilled what is being spoken: They divided the garments of Mine among themselves and for the clothing of Mine they cast a lot. The indeed therefore soldiers these things did,
Woawoe nye Yesu dada, Yesu dada nɔvi si woyɔna be Maria, Kleopa srɔ̃ kple Maria si tso Magdala la.
Had been standing however by the cross of Jesus the mother of Him and the sister of the mother of Him, Mary the [wife] of Clopas and Mary Magdalene.
26 Esi Yesu kpɔ dadaa wònɔ tsitre ɖe eƒe nusrɔ̃la si wòlɔ̃na vevie xa la, egblɔ nɛ be, “Nyɔnu, kpɔ ɖa, viwòe nye esi.”
Jesus therefore having seen [His] mother and the disciple already standing by whom He was loving says to the mother (of him: *k*) Woman, (behold *N(k)O*) the son of you.
27 Eye wògblɔ na nusrɔ̃la la hã be, “Kpɔ ɖa, dawòe nye esia!” Eye tso ɣe ma ɣi dzi la, nusrɔ̃la la kplɔ Maria yi eƒe aƒe mee.
Then He says to the disciple; (behold *N(k)O*) the mother of you. And from that [very] hour took the disciple her to [his] own.
28 Esi Yesu nya be nu sia nu wu nu azɔ, eye be woawu nya siwo woŋlɔ ɖe mawunya me nu la, egblɔ be, “Tsikɔ le wuyem!”
After this (knowing *NK(o)*) Jesus that now all things has been accomplished, so that may be fulfilled the Scripture, He says; I thirst.
29 Wain tsitsi kplu ɖeka aɖe nɔ afi ma. Wotsɔe kɔ ɖe kakle tɔxɛ aɖe me eye wotsɔe tɔ ɖe ati nu hetsɔ ɖo nu nɛ be wòano.
A vessel (therefore *K*) was set [there] of sour wine full. a sponge (therefore full of the *N(K)O*) sour wine (and *k*) on a hyssop stalk having put they brought it to the mouth.
30 Esi Yesu ɖɔe kpɔ ko la, egblɔ be, “Ewu enu azɔ,” eye wòde ta to heɖe asi le eƒe gbɔgbɔ ŋu.
When then took the sour wine Jesus He said; It has been finished. And having bowed the head He yielded up the spirit.
Therefore the Jews, since [the] Preparation was, so that not may remain on the cross the bodies on the Sabbath — was for a high day of that Sabbath — asked Pilate that may be broken their legs and they may be taken away.
32 Ale asrafowo va ŋe ame eve siwo woklã kpe ɖe Yesu ŋu la ƒe afɔwo.
Came therefore the soldiers and of the indeed first broke the legs and of the other which having been crucified with Him.
33 Gake esi wòɖo Yesu dzi la, wokpɔ be eku xoxo, eya ta womeŋe eƒe afɔwo o.
to however Jesus having come, when they saw already Him having been dead, not they did break His legs,
34 Esia ta asrafoawo dometɔ ɖeka tsɔ akplɔ tɔ axadame nɛ, eye ʋu kple tsi do go.
But one of the soldiers with a spear of His side pierced, and came out immediately blood and water.
35 Ame si kpɔ nu siawo katã teƒe la ɖi ɖase tso eŋu, eye eƒe ɖaseɖiɖi la nye nyateƒe. Enyae be yegblɔ nyateƒe, be miawo hã miaxɔe ase.
And the [one] having seen has borne witness and true of him is the testimony And He knows that truth he is speaking, that (also *no*) you yourselves (may believe. *NK(o)*)
36 Nuwɔna siawo va eme be woawu mawunya nu be, “Womele eƒe ƒu aɖeke ŋe ge o!”
Took place for these things so that the Scripture may be fulfilled: Bone not one will be broken (from *o*) of Him.
And again another Scripture says: They will behold on the [One] they have pierced.
After then these things asked Pilate (*k*) Joseph from Arimathea being a disciple of Jesus — concealed however through the fear of the Jews — that he may take away the body of Jesus. and gave permission Pilate. He came therefore and he took away the body (of Him. *N(K)O*)
39 Nikodemo, ame si va Yesu gbɔ le zã me la hã va kplii, eye wòtsɔ mire kple aloe siwo nye atike ʋeʋĩ tɔxɛ aɖe si ƒe home anɔ abe sidi blaadre-vɔ-atɔ̃ ene vɛ.
Came now also Nicodemus the [one] having come to (*k*) (Him *N(K)O*) by night at the first bearing (a mixture *NK(O)*) of myrrh and aloes (about *N(k)O*) litras a hundred.
40 Wosi ami la nɛ, eye wo kple eve la wotsɔ aklala si me ami ʋeʋĩ yɔ fũu la bla Yesu ƒe ŋutilã kukua ɖe eme. Wowɔ nu sia ɖe Yudatɔwo ƒe kɔnuwo nu.
They took therefore the body of Jesus and bound it (in *o*) in linen cloths with the spices, even as [the] custom is among the Jews to prepare for burial.
41 Abɔ aɖe te ɖe afi si woklã Yesu ɖe atitsoga ŋu ɖo la ŋu, eye yɔdo yeye aɖe si me womeɖi ame ɖo kpɔ o la li.
There was now in the place where He was crucified a garden and in the garden a tomb new in which not yet no [one] (was *no*) ([already] laid. *N(k)O*)
42 Esi gbe ma gbe nye Yudatɔwo ƒe Dzadzraɖoŋkeke ta la, wokɔ Yesu ɖaɖi ɖe yɔdo sia me, elabena etsɔ ɖe kpuiƒe na wo.
There therefore on account of the Preparation of the Jews, because near was the tomb, they laid Jesus.
