< Kolosetɔwo 2 >
1 Adzɔ dzi nam ŋutɔ nenye be ɖe mianya ale si meʋlina ŋutɔ ɖe miawo kple ame siwo le Laodikea la kple nɔvi vevi bubu siwo menyam kura o la hã ta.
For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you, for those in Laodicea, and for all who have not seen me face to face.
2 Nu si mebia Mawu na mi lae nye be dzideƒo nanɔ mia si, eye lɔlɔ̃ ƒe ŋusẽ nabla mi ɖekae, ale be miate ŋu akpɔ mɔnu anya Kristo le kakaɖedzi me kple gɔmesese deto vavãtɔ, elabena Mawu ƒe ɖoɖo ɣaɣla si wòva ɖe fia mlɔeba lae nye Kristo ŋutɔ.
I want their hearts to be comforted and knit together in love, so that they may have all the riches of being fully assured in their understanding, and so that they may know the mystery of our God and Father and of Christ,
3 Eya mee wòɣla nunya kple sidzedze ƒe kesinɔnuwo katã ɖo.
in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.
4 Mele nya siawo gblɔm na mi elabena mele vɔvɔ̃m be ame aɖe ate ŋu ava ble mi alo ado lã mi to eƒe aɖe ŋanɛ nyawo gbɔgblɔ na mi me.
I say this so that no one will deceive you with persuasive speech.
For though I am absent in body, I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ.
6 Azɔ abe ale si miexɔ Yesu Kristo, Aƒetɔ la dzi se be aɖe mi ene la, mixɔ se nenema ke le miaƒe gbe sia gbe ƒe nuwɔnawo me.
Therefore, just as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to walk in him,
7 Mili ke ɖe eya amea me blibo eye miaxɔ nunyiame tso egbɔ. Mikpɔ egbɔ be mietsi ɖe edzi le xɔse me. Mina dzidzɔ kple akpedada nayɔ miaƒe agbe me fũu ɖe nu gã siwo katã wòwɔ na mi la ta.
being rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
8 Migana ame aɖeke nakplɔ mi ayi aboyo me to xexemenunya kple beble dzodzro me o. Wotu wo ɖe amegbetɔ ƒe nunya kple xexeme ƒe gɔmedzenuwo dzi, ke menye ɖe nu siwo Kristo gblɔ dzi o.
Be careful that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men and the elements of the world, and not according to Christ.
9 Elabena Mawu ƒe blibonyenye la katã nɔ Kristo me le ŋutilã ƒe dzedzeme nu,
For all the fullness of God's nature dwells bodily in Christ,
and you have been filled by him, who is the head over every ruler and authority.
11 Eya amea me hã wotso aʋa na mi, le esime mieɖe miaƒe dzɔdzɔmenu vɔ̃ si nye ŋutilã la ɖa, menye kple aʋatsotso si wotsɔ asi tsoe o, ke esi wowɔ to Kristo me la boŋ.
In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not done by hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh in the circumcision of Christ.
12 To mawutsideta me, mieku kplii, eye mietsi tsitre kplii to miaƒe xɔse si le Mawu ƒe ŋusẽ si fɔe tso ame kukuwo dome la me.
Having been buried with him in baptism, you have also been raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead.
13 Esime mienye ame kukuwo le dzidadawo me, eye mienye Yudaviwo o ta, Mawu na be miekpɔ gome le Kristo ƒe agbenɔnɔ me, elabena etsɔ miaƒe nu vɔ̃wo ke mi,
And although you were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive together with Christ. He forgave us all our trespasses
Etsɔ nu vɔ̃ siawo katã klã ɖe atitsoga ŋuti, eye wòɖe wo ɖa.
by blotting out the certificate of debt that stood against us with its legal demands; he took it away by nailing it to the cross.
15 To esia me la, eɖe gbɔgbɔwo ƒe dziɖuɖu kple ŋusẽ ɖa, eye wòdo ŋukpe wo le gaglãgbe, eye wòkpɔ dziɖuɖu ɖe wo dzi.
He stripped the rulers and authorities of their power and made a public display of them, leading a triumphal procession over them by the cross.
Therefore let no one judge you in regard to food or drink, or in the matter of a feast, a New Moon celebration, or a Sabbath day.
17 Elabena esiawo nye nu siwo gbɔna la ƒe vɔvɔli; ke nu la ŋutɔ le Kristo me va.
These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance is Christ.
18 Migana ame aɖeke nable mi be esi miegbe be yewomasubɔ mawudɔlawo abe ale si wogblɔ na mi ene o ta la, miele tsɔtsrɔ̃ ge o. Wogblɔna be yewokpɔ ŋutega, eye yewonya be ele be miasubɔ mawudɔlawo. Ame siawo nye dadalawo togbɔ be wogblɔna be yewonye ɖokuibɔbɔɖeanyilawo hã. Susu wɔnuku le wo si.
Let no one who delights in false humility and angelic religion disqualify you. Such a person takes his stand on things he has not seen, being puffed up without reason by the mind of his flesh,
while not holding fast to the head, from whom the entire body, being supported and knit together by its joints and tendons, grows with a growth that is from God.
20 Le nyateƒe me, esi mieku kple Kristo ta la, mievo tso nu si xexemetɔwo buna tso ɖeɖekpɔkpɔ ŋuti la ƒe asi me. Ne ele alea la, nu ka ta miegale wo wɔwɔ dzi, eye woƒe se mawo gabla mi ɖo?
If you have died with Christ to the elements of the world, why, as though you were living in the world, do you submit to regulations such as,
21 “Wobe migaɖu esi o! Migaɖɔ ekemɛ kpɔ o! Eye wobe migaka asi nuɖuɖu aɖewo ya ŋuti kura o!” Nu ka tae?
“Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch”?
22 Nu siawo katã le gbegblẽ ge to wo ŋuti dɔ wɔwɔ me le amewo ƒe sededewo kple nufiafiawo nu.
Such regulations are based on the commandments and doctrines of men, and apply to things that will all decay with use.
23 Se siawo anya dze se nyuiwoe, elabena wonye se siwo hiã ameɖokuitsɔtsɔke kple ɖokuibɔbɔ blibo kpakple fuwɔwɔ ame ƒe ŋutilã, eye wo dzi wɔwɔ sesẽ, gake ŋusẽ aɖeke mele wo si be ame natsɔ aɖu eƒe susuwo kple dzodzro vɔ̃wo dzi o. Ɖeko wonana ame dana.
Although these regulations have a semblance of wisdom in self-imposed piety, false humility, and severe treatment of the body, they are of no value in restraining fleshly indulgence.
