< Kronika 2 31 >

1 Esi nu siawo katã wu enu la, Israelvi siwo katã nɔ afi ma la do go yi Yuda ƒe duwo me eye wogbã legbawo, heho aƒeliwo ƒu anyi, wogbã nuxeƒewo kple vɔsamlekpui siwo katã nɔ Yuda, Benyamin, Efraim kple Manase. Esi wotsrɔ̃ nu siawo katã vɔ megbe la, Israelviwo gbugbɔ yi woawo ŋutɔ ƒe duwo me eye woyi ɖanɔ woƒe aƒewo me.
Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake in pieces the pillars, and hewed down the Asherim, and brake down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.
2 Azɔ la, Hezekia ma nunɔlawo kple Levitɔwo ɖe hatsotsowo me hena nu vɔ̃ vɔsa kple akpedavɔ sasa eye be woasubɔ Yehowa, atsɔ akpedada kple kafukafu nɛ.
And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his service, both the priests and the Levites, for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the camp of the LORD.
3 Ena vɔsalãwo tso eya ŋutɔ ƒe lãhawo me hena gbe sia gbe ŋdi kple fiẽ ƒe numevɔsawo kple Dzudzɔgbe kple Ɣleti Yeye ƒe ŋkekenyuiwo kple ƒe sia ƒe ƒe ŋkekenyui bubuwo ƒe numevɔsawo, abe ale si Mawu ƒe se la bia tso wo si ene.
[He appointed] also the king’s portion of his substance for the burnt offerings, [to wit], for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it is written in the law of the LORD.
4 Hekpe ɖe esiawo ŋu la, Fia Hezekia na be Yerusalemtɔwo natsɔ woƒe nuwo ƒe ewolia vɛ na nunɔlawo kple Levitɔwo ale be magahiã be woawɔ dɔ bubuwo o, ke boŋ woalé fɔ ɖe dɔ siwo Mawu ƒe se la ɖo na wo la ko ŋu vevie.
Moreover he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might give themselves to the law of the LORD.
And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel gave in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.
6 Israelvi kple Yudatɔ siwo nɔ Yuda duwo me la hã tsɔ woƒe lãwo ƒe ewolia ƒe ɖeka kple nu kɔkɔe si wodzra ɖo na Yehowa, woƒe Mawu la ƒe ewolia ƒe ɖeka vɛ eye woli kɔ wo.
And the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of dedicated things which were consecrated unto the LORD their God, and laid them by heaps.
7 Wodze nu sia wɔwɔ gɔme le ɣleti etɔ̃lia me eye wowu enu le ɣleti adrelia me.
In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month.
8 Esi Hezekia kple eƒe dziɖulawo kpɔ nu siwo woƒo ƒu ɖi la, wokafu Yehowa eye woyra eƒe amewo, Israelviwo.
And when Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed the LORD, and his people Israel.
9 Hezekia bia nunɔlawo kple Levitɔwo be, “Afi ka nu gbogbo siawo katã tso?”
Then Hezekiah questioned with the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.
10 nunɔlagã Azaria, tso Zadok ƒe hlɔ̃ me, ɖo eŋu be, “Esiawoe nye nuwo ƒe ewolia ƒe ɖeka! Míele nu ɖum tso nu siawo me kɔsiɖa geɖewo nye esi gake nu gbogbo siawo gasusɔ elabena Yehowa yra eƒe amewo.”
And Azariah the chief priest, of the house of Zadok, answered him and said, Since [the people] began to bring the oblations into the house of the LORD, we have eaten and had enough, and have left plenty: for the LORD hath blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store.
11 Hezekia ɖe gbe be woatu nudzraɖoƒexɔwo ɖe Yehowa ƒe gbedoxɔ la me, ale wowɔe nenema.
Then Hezekiah commanded to prepare chambers in the house of the LORD; and they prepared them.

And they brought in the oblations and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully: and over them Conaniah the Levite was ruler, and Shimei his brother was second.

And Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, were overseers under the hand of Conaniah and Shimei his brother, by the appointment of Hezekiah the king, and Azariah the ruler of the house of God.

And Kore the son of Imnah the Levite, the porter at the east [gate], was over the freewill offerings of God, to distribute the oblations of the LORD, and the most holy things.

And under him were Eden, and Miniamin, and Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah, in the cities of the priests, in their set office, to give to their brethren by courses, as well to the great as to the small:
16 Hekpe ɖe esiawo ŋuti la, woma nu na viŋutsu siwo xɔ ƒe etɔ̃ alo wu nenema, ame siwo ƒe ŋkɔwo menɔ dzidzimegbalẽ la me o, ame siwo dze be woayi ɖe Yehowa ƒe gbedoxɔ la me be woawɔ woƒe gbe sia gbe dɔdeasiwo le dɔ vovovo siwo woɖo na wo ɖe woƒe hatsotsowo me nu.
beside them that were reckoned by genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even every one that entered into the house of the LORD, as the duty of every day required, for their service in their charges according to their courses;

Also for the sons of Aaron the priests, which were in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every several city; there were men that were expressed by name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all that were reckoned by genealogy among the Levites.
20 Ale Fia Hezekia wɔ ɖoɖo ɖe numama ŋu le Yudanyigba blibo la dzi; ewɔ nu si nyo eye wòdze la, le Yehowa, eƒe Mawu la ŋkume.
And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah; and he wrought that which was good and right and faithful before the LORD his God.

And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.
