And, Benjamin, begat Bela his firstborn, —Ashbel, the second, and Aharah, the third, —
2 eneliae nye Noha eye atɔ̃liae nye Rafa.
Nohah, the fourth, and Rapha, the fifth.
3 Bela ƒe viŋutsuwoe nye: Ada, Gera, Abihud,
And Bela had sons—Addar, and Gera, and Abihud, —
4 Abisua, Naaman, Ahoa
and Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah, —
5 Gera, Sefufan kple Huram.
and Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.
6 Ehud ƒe viwo nye hlɔ̃metatɔwo le Geba. Wolé wo le aʋa me eye woɖe aboyo wo yi Manahat. Woawoe nye:
And, these, are the sons of Ehud, —these, are the ancestral chiefs to the inhabitants of Geba, but they were carried away captive, unto Manahath;
7 Naaman, Ahiya, Gera, ame si wogayɔna be Heglam, ame si dzi Uza kple Ahihud.
and, as for Naaman and Ahijah and Gera, the same, carried them captive, —and he begat Uzza and Ahihud.
8 Saharaim gbe srɔ̃a eveawo, Husim kple Baara.
And, Shaharaim, begat children in the field of Moab, after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives.
9 Edzi viwo kple Hodes, srɔ̃a yeyea le Moab nyigba dzi. Ɖeviawoe nye Yobab, Zibia, Mesa, Malkam,
Then begat he, of Hodesh his wife, —Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcam;
10 Yeuz, Sakia kple Mirma. Ame siawo katã va zu hlɔ̃mefiawo.
and Jeuz, and Sachia, and Mirmah, —these, were his sons, ancestral chiefs.
11 Do ŋgɔ la, srɔ̃a Husim dzi Ahitub kple Elpaal nɛ.
And, of Hushim, he begat Abitub, and Elpaal.
12 Elpaal ƒe viwoe nye: Eber, Misam, Semed, ame si tso Ono du kple Lod du kple kɔƒe siwo ƒo xlã wo.
And, the sons of Elpaal, Eber, and Misham, and Shemed, —he, built Ono, and Lod, and the villages thereof.
13 Via bubuwoe nye Beria kple Sema, hlɔ̃mefia siwo nɔ Aiyalon; wonya ame siwo nɔ Gat tsã la dzoe.
And, as for Beriah and Shema, they, were ancestral chiefs to the inhabitants of Aijalon, —they, put to flight the inhabitants of Gath;
14 Elpaal ƒe viwo dometɔ aɖewoe nye: Ahio, Sasak kple Yeremot.
and Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth, —
15 Beria ƒe viwoe nye: Zebadia, Arad, Eder,
and Zebadiah, and Arad, and Eder, —
16 Mikael, Ispa kple Yoha.
and Michael, and Ishpah, and Joha, sons of Beriah, —
17 Elpaal ƒe viwo dometɔ aɖewoe nye: Zebadia, Mesulam, Hizku, Heber,

and Ishmerai, and Izliah, and Jobab, sons of Elpaal, —
19 Simei ƒe viwoe nye: Yakim, Zikri, Zabdi,

20 Elienai, Ziletai, Eliel
and Elienai, and Zillethai, and Eliel, —
21 Adaya, Beraya kple Simrat.
and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, sons of Shimei, —
22 Sasak ƒe viwoe nye: Ispan, Eber, Eliel,
and Ishpan, and Eber, and Eliel, —
23 Abdon, Zikri, Hanan
and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan, —
24 Hananiya, Elam, Antotiya,

these, were ancestral chiefs to their generations, chief men, —these, dwelt in Jerusalem;

And, in Gibeon, dwelt the father of Gibeon [Jeiel], the name of whose wife, was Maacah, —

and his firstborn son, Abdon, and Zur and Kish, and Baal and Ner and Nadab, —
31 Gedor, Ahio, Zeker
and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zecher.
32 kple Miklot, ame si dzi Simea. Ƒome siawo katã nɔ teƒe ɖeka le Yerusalem gbɔ.
And, Mikloth, begat Shimeah, —moreover also, they, over against their brethren, did dwell in Jerusalem, with their own brethren.
33 Ner dzi Kis, ame si dzi Saul eye Saul hã dzi Yonatan, Malki Sua, Abinadab kple Esbaal.
So then, Ner, begat Kish, and, Kish, begat Saul, —and, Saul, begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
34 Yonatan dzi Mefiboset ame si wogayɔna hã be Meribaal eye eya hã dzi Mika.
And, the son of Jonathan, was Merib-baal, —and, Merib-baal, begat Micah.
35 Mika ƒe viwoe nye: Pitɔn, Melek, Tarea kple Ahaz.
And, the sons of Micah, were Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.
36 Ahaz dzi Yehoiada eye eya hã dzi Alemet, Azmavet kple Zimri, ame si dzi Moza.
And, Ahaz, begat Jehoaddah, and, Jehoaddah, begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri, —and, Zimri, begat Moza;
37 Moza dzi Binea, ame si ƒe viwoe nye Rafa, Eleasa kple Azel.
and, Moza, begat Binea, —Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
38 Ŋutsuvi ade nɔ Azel si; woawoe nye: Azrikam, Bokeru, Ismael, Searia, Obadia kple Hanan.
And, Azel, had six sons, and, these, were their names—Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obediah, and Hanan and Asah, —all these, were sons of Azel.
39 Azel nɔviŋutsu, Esek dzi viŋutsu etɔ̃; gbãtɔe nye Ulam, eveliae nye Yeus eye etɔ̃liae nye Elifelet.
And, the sons of Eshek his brother, were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40 Ulam ƒe viwo nye aʋawɔla xɔŋkɔwo eye woƒe alɔ dzɔna le aŋutrɔdada me. Viŋutsu kple tɔgbuiyɔvi alafa ɖeka blaatɔ̃ nɔ esi eye wo katã wonye Benyamin ƒe dzidzimeviwo.
And the sons of Ulam became men that were heroes of valour, archers, with many sons, and sons’ sons, a hundred and fifty. All these, were of the sons of Benjamin.
