< Proverbs 11 >

1 Balances of deceit [are] an abomination to Jehovah, And a perfect weight [is] His delight.
Kafaddii khiyaano ah Rabbigu aad buu u karhaa, Laakiinse dhagaxii miisaanka oo xaq ah wuu ku farxaa.
2 Pride hath come, and shame cometh, And with the lowly [is] wisdom.
Markuu kibir yimaado, waxaa timaada ceeb; Laakiinse xigmaddu waxay la jirtaa kuwa is-hoosaysiiya.
3 The integrity of the upright leadeth them, And the perverseness of the treacherous destroyeth them.
Kuwa qumman waxaa kaxayn doonta daacadnimadooda, Laakiinse khaayinnada qalloocnaantoodu waa baabbi'in doontaa iyaga.
4 Wealth profiteth not in a day of wrath, And righteousness delivereth from death.
Maalinta cadhada maal faa'iido ma leh, Laakiinse xaqnimada ayaa dhimasho kaa samatabbixisa.
5 The righteousness of the perfect maketh right his way, And by his wickedness doth the wicked fall.
Ninkii kaamil ah xaqnimadiisu jidkiisay toosisaa, Laakiinse kan sharka lahu wuxuu ku kufi doonaa sharkiisa.
6 The righteousness of the upright delivereth them, And in mischief the treacherous are captured.
Kuwa qumman xaqnimadoodaa samatabbixin doonta, Laakiinse khaayinnada waxaa qabsan doona damacooda xun.
7 In the death of a wicked man, hope perisheth, And the expectation of the iniquitous hath been lost.
Nin shar lahu markuu dhinto, wuxuu filanayay way baabbi'i doontaa, Oo xumaanfalayaasha rajadooduna way baabba'daa.
8 The righteous from distress is drawn out, And the wicked goeth in instead of him.
Kii xaq ah waxaa laga samatabbixiyaa dhibaato, Oo meeshiisana waxaa yimaada kii shar leh.
9 With the mouth a hypocrite corrupteth his friend, And by knowledge the righteous are drawn out.
Labawejiilahu afkiisuu deriskiisa ku halligaa, Laakiinse kan xaqa ahu aqoon buu ku samatabbixi doonaa.
10 In the good of the righteous a city exulteth, And in the destruction of the wicked [is] singing.
Kuwa xaqa ahu markay barwaaqoobaan, magaaladu way rayraysaa, Laakiin kuwa sharka lahu markay halligmaan farax baa lagu dhawaaqaa.
11 By the blessing of the upright is a city exalted, And by the mouth of the wicked thrown down.
Kuwa qumman ducadooda magaaladu sare bay ugu kacdaa, Laakiinse kuwa sharka leh afkoodu magaaladuu dumiyaa.
12 Whoso is despising his neighbour lacketh heart, And a man of understanding keepeth silence.
Kii deriskiisa quudhsadaa waa caqli daranyahay, Laakiinse ninkii garaadka lahu wuu iska aamusaa.
13 A busybody is revealing secret counsel, And the faithful of spirit is covering the matter.
Kii sida mid xan badan u warwareegaa wuxuu daaha ka qaadaa waxyaalo qarsoon, Laakiinse kii ruuxiisu aamin yahay xaalkuu qariyaa.
14 Without counsels do a people fall, And deliverance [is] in a multitude of counsellors.
Markaanay talo jirin, dadku waa dhacaa, Laakiinse taliyayaasha badnaantoodu waxay leedahay nabadgelyo.
15 Evil [one] suffereth when he hath been surety [for] a stranger, And whoso is hating suretyship is confident.
Kii qof qalaad dammiintaa, xumaan buu ka helaa, Laakiinse kii dammiinashada necebu ammaan buu u fadhiyaa.
16 A gracious woman retaineth honour, And terrible [men] retain riches.
Naag nimcaysan sharaf bay haysataa, Oo niman xoog lahuna maal bay haystaan.
17 A kind man is rewarding his own soul, And the fierce is troubling his own flesh.
Ninkii naxariis badanu naftiisuu wanaag u sameeyaa, Laakiinse kii aan naxariis lahaynu jidhkiisuu dhibaa.
18 The wicked is getting a lying wage, And whoso is sowing righteousness — a true reward.
Kan sharka lahu wuxuu shaqaystaa mushahaaro khiyaano miidhan ah, Laakiinse kii xaqnimada beeraa wuxuu heli doonaa abaalgud la hubo.
19 Rightly [is] righteousness for life, And whoso is pursuing evil — for his own death.
Xaqnimadu waxay u kacdaa xagga nolosha, Sidaas oo kalena kii sharka raacaa wuxuu u raacaa dhimashadiisa.
20 An abomination to Jehovah [are] the perverse of heart, And the perfect of the way [are] His delight.
Kuwa qalbigoodu qalloocan yahay Rabbigu aad buu u karhaa; Laakiinse kuwa jidkooda ku qumman wuu ku farxaa.
21 Hand to hand, the wicked is not acquitted, And the seed of the righteous hath escaped.
Waxaan aad idiinku xaqiijinayaa inaan kan sharka lahu taqsiirla'aan doonayn. Laakiinse farcanka kuwa xaqa ah waa la samatabbixin doonaa.
22 A ring of gold in the nose of a sow — A fair woman and stubborn of behaviour.
Naag qurux badan oo aan digtoonaan lahaynu Waa sida dahab gafuurka doofaarka ku jira.
23 The desire of the righteous [is] only good, The hope of the wicked [is] transgression.
Kuwa xaqa ah waxay doonayaan wanaag keliya, Laakiinse kuwa sharka ah filashadoodu waa cadho.
24 There is who is scattering, and yet is increased, And who is keeping back from uprightness, only to want.
Waxaa jira mid wax firdhiya, oo haddana sii korodhsada; Oo waxaa jira mid ceshada wax ka sii badan in ku habboon, oo haddana sii caydhooba.
25 A liberal soul is made fat, And whoso is watering, he also is watered.
Qofkii deeqsi ah baa la barwaaqaysiin doonaa, Oo kii wax waraabiyana, isna waa la waraabin doonaa.
26 Whoso is withholding corn, the people execrate him, And a blessing [is] for the head of him who is selling.
Kii hadhuudh ceshada, dadka ayaa habaari doona, Laakiinse kii iibiya, duco ayaa ku dhici doonta.
27 Whoso is earnestly seeking good Seeketh a pleasing thing, And whoso is seeking evil — it meeteth him.
Kii wanaag aad u doonaa wuxuu doonayaa raallinimo, Laakiinse kii xumaan doona, way u iman doontaa.
28 Whoso is confident in his wealth he falleth, And as a leaf, the righteous flourish.
Kii maalkiisa isku halleeyaa wuu dhici doonaa, Laakiinse kii xaq ahu wuxuu u barwaaqoobi doonaa sida caleen cagaar ah.
29 Whoso is troubling his own house inheriteth wind, And a servant [is] the fool to the wise of heart.
Kii gurigiisa dhibaa dabayshu dhaxli doonaa, Oo nacaskuna wuxuu midiidin u ahaan doonaa kan qalbigiisu caqliga leeyahay.
30 The fruit of the righteous [is] a tree of life, And whoso is taking souls [is] wise.
Kan xaqa ah midhihiisu waa geed nololeed, Oo kii nafo soo hanuuniyaana caqli buu leeyahay.
31 Lo, the righteous in the earth is recompensed, Surely also the wicked and the sinner!
Bal eega, kan xaqa ahu abaalkiisuu dhulka ku heli doonaa, Haddaba immisa abaalgud oo ka sii badan bay heli doonaan kan sharka leh iyo dembiluhu.
