Exodus 36
1 And Bezaleel, and Aholiab, and every wise-hearted man, in whom Jehovah hath given wisdom and understanding to know to do every work of the service of the sanctuary, have done according to all that Jehovah commanded.
En conséquence, Beseléel, Oliab, et tous les hommes sages d'esprit auxquels avaient été données la sagesse et la science, se mirent à I'œuvre pour faire tous les ouvrages du sanctuaire, comme les avait ordonnés le Seigneur.
2 And Moses calleth unto Bezaleel, and unto Aholiab, and unto every wise-hearted man in whose heart Jehovah hath given wisdom, every one whom his heart lifted up, to come near unto the work to do it.
Moïse appela Beseléel et Oliab, et tous les sages à qui Dieu avait mis la science au cœur, et tous ceux qui voulaient spontanément concourir à achever les travaux.
3 And they take from before Moses all the heave-offering which the sons of Israel have brought in for the work of the service of the sanctuary to do it; and still they have brought in unto him a willing-offering morning by morning.
Ceux-ci prirent chez Moïse les oblations qu'avaient apportées les fils d'Israël, pour les travaux du sanctuaire; en outre, ils recueillaient eux- mêmes les offrandes de ceux qui en apportaient chaque matin.
4 And all the wise men, who are doing all the work of the sanctuary, come each from his work which they are doing,
Bientôt tous les sages qui, chacun en son art, faisaient les travaux du sanctuaire,
5 and speak unto Moses, saying, 'The people are multiplying to bring in more than sufficient for the service of the work which Jehovah commanded to make.'
Vinrent dire à Moïse: Le peuple apporte plus que ne demandent les travaux que le Seigneur a ordonnés.
6 And Moses commandeth, and they cause a voice to pass over through the camp, saying, 'Let not man or woman make any more work for the heave-offering of the sanctuary;' and the people are restrained from bringing,
Moïse alors donna ses ordres, et il fit faire, dans le camp, cette proclamation: Que ni homme ni femme ne fasse plus rien pour les prémices du sanctuaire; et il fut interdit au peuple d'en apporter encore.
7 and the work hath been sufficient for them, for all the work, to do it, and to leave.
Car les offrandes déjà faites étaient suffisantes pour l'achèvement de tout ce qu'il y avait à faire; elles furent même surabondantes.
8 And all the wise-hearted ones among the doers of the work make the tabernacle; ten curtains of twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, [with] cherubs, work of a designer, he hath made them.
Et tout sage en cet art, parmi ceux qui travaillaient, fit les vêtements du sanctuaire et du Saint des saints pour le prêtre Aaron, ainsi que le Seigneur l'avait prescrit à Moïse.
9 The length of the one curtain [is] eight and twenty by the cubit, and the breadth of the one curtain four by the cubit; one measure [is] to all the curtains.
Et l'on fit l'éphod d'or, d'hyacinthe, de pourpre, d'écarlate filé et de lin filé.
10 And he joineth the five curtains one unto another, and the [other] five curtains he hath joined one unto another;
L'on coupa les feuilles d'or en fils aussi fins que des cheveux, pour les tisser avec l'hyacinthe, la pourpre, l'écarlate filé et le lin filé; l'on fit un tissu de ces divers fils.
11 and he maketh loops of blue on the edge of the one curtain, at the end, in the joining; so he hath made in the edge of the outmost curtain, in the joining of the second;
L'on fit les deux éphods joints l'un à l'autre des deux côtés, les deux tissus se rattachant l’un à l’autre.
12 fifty loops he hath made in the one curtain, and fifty loops hath he made in the end of the curtain which [is] in the joining of the second; the loops are taking hold one on another.
Les deux éphods furent pareillement tissus d'or, d'hyacinthe, de pourpre, d'écarlate filé et de lin filé, comme le Seigneur l'avait prescrit à Moïse.
13 And he maketh fifty hooks of gold, and joineth the curtains one unto another by the hooks, and the tabernacle is one.
Les travailleurs préparèrent aussi les deux pierres d'émeraude, agrafées ensemble, montées sur or, portant, gravées comme on grave un cachet, les noms des fils d'Israël.
14 And he maketh curtains of goats' [hair] for a tent over the tabernacle; eleven curtains he hath made them;
Ils les mirent sur les deux épaulières de l'éphod, pour servir de mémorial aux fils d'Israël, comme le Seigneur l'avait prescrit à Moïse.
15 the length of the one curtain [is] thirty by the cubit, and the breadth of the one curtain [is] four cubits; one measure [is] to the eleven curtains;
Et ils firent le rational, tissu orné de broderies, en harmonie avec l'éphod, tissu d'or, d'hyacinthe, de pourpre, d'écarlate filé et de lin filé.
16 and he joineth the five curtains apart, and the six curtains apart.
Ils firent le rational double et carré, long d'un palme, large d'un palme; double.
17 And he maketh fifty loops on the outer edge of the curtain, in the joining; and fifty loops he hath made on the edge of the curtain which is joining the second;
Ils y entrelacèrent un tissu, enchâssant quatre rangées de pierres, une première rangée de cornaline, de topaze et d'émeraude;
18 and he maketh fifty hooks of brass to join the tent — to be one;
Une seconde rangée: d'escarboucle, de saphir, de jaspe.
19 and he maketh a covering for the tent of rams' skins made red, and a covering of badgers' skins above.
Une troisième rangée de ligure, d'agathe, d'améthyste.
20 And he maketh the boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood, standing up;
Une quatrième enfin de chrysolite, de bêril et d'onyx; toutes pierres montées sur or, enchâssées dans l'or.
21 ten cubits [is] the length of the [one] board, and a cubit and a half the breadth of the [one] board;
Ces pierres furent marquées des noms des douze fils d'Israël; on y grava leurs noms comme on grave sur des cachets, douze noms pour les douze tribus.
22 two handles [are] to the one board, joined one unto another; so he hath made for all the boards of the tabernacle.
Et les travailleurs firent sur le rational, des chaînes tressées en mailles d'or pur.
23 And he maketh the boards for the tabernacle; twenty boards for the south side southward;
Ils firent deux boucles et des anneaux d'or; ils placèrent les deux anneaux d'or sur les deux coins supérieurs du rational.
24 and forty sockets of silver he hath made under the twenty boards, two sockets under the one board for its two handles, and two sockets under the other board for its two handles.
Ils placèrent les chaînes en mailles d'or, sur les anneaux, des deux côtés du rational.
25 And for the second side of the tabernacle, for the north side, he hath made twenty boards,
Et, aux jointures, ils passèrent les chaînes à mailles dans les deux boucles, et ils les ajustèrent sur les épaulières de l'éphod, par devant.
26 and their forty sockets of silver, two sockets under the one board, and two sockets under the other board;
Ils firent encore deux anneaux d'or, qu'ils placèrent sur les deux extrémités du rational, d'une pointe à l'autre de l'éphod, par derrière et en dedans.
27 and for the sides of the tabernacle, westward, hath he made six boards;
Et Ils firent deux anneaux d'or, qu'ils posèrent sous les épaulières de l'éphod, par devant, et les ajustèrent à la couleur du tissu de l'éphod.
28 and two boards hath he made for the corners of the tabernacle, in the two sides;
Beseléel serra ainsi le rational, au moyen de ces anneaux et des anneaux de l'éphod, faisant saillie sur l’hyacinthe, entrelacés dans le tissu de l'éphod, afin que le rational fût fixé à l'éphod, comme le Seigneur l'avait prescrit à Moïse.
29 and they have been twins below, and together they are twins at its head, at the one ring; so he hath done to both of them at the two corners;
Les travailleurs firent en outre la longue robe, de dessous l'éphod, tout entière en hyacinthe,
30 and there have been eight boards; and their sockets of silver [are] sixteen sockets, two sockets under the one board.
Et l'ouverture de la robe, au milieu, bordée d'un collet, pour qu'elle ne se déchirât point.
31 And he maketh bars of shittim wood, five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
Ils firent, sous la bordure de la robe de dessous, tout en bas, comme de petits boutons sortant de grenades en fleur; ils les firent d'hyacinthe, de pourpre, d'écarlate filé et de lin filé.
32 and five bars for the boards of the second side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle, for the sides westward;
Ils firent des clochettes d'or, et ils placèrent les clochettes, sur la bordure de la robe de dessous, tout autour, entremêlées de pommes de grenade;
33 and he maketh the middle bar to enter into the midst of the boards from end to end;
Une clochette d'or et une grenade se succédaient sur la bordure de la robe de dessous, pour le prêtre exerçant le sacerdoce, comme le Seigneur l'avait prescrit à Moïse.
34 and the boards he hath overlaid with gold, and their rings he hath made of gold, places for bars, and he overlayeth the bars with gold.
Ils firent des tuniques de lin, tissé pour Aaron et ses fils,
35 And he maketh the vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen, work of a designer he hath made it, [with] cherubs;
Et des mitres de lin, et la tiare de lin, et les caleçons de lin filé,
36 and he maketh for it four pillars of shittim [wood], and overlayeth them with gold; their pegs [are] of gold; and he casteth for them four sockets of silver.
Et les ceintures de lin, d'hyacinthe, de pourpre, d'écarlate filé, œuvre variée, comme le Seigneur l'avait prescrit à Moïse.
37 And he maketh a covering for the opening of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen, work of an embroiderer,
Ils firent aussi la lame d'or, la lame de sainteté, en or pur; et Beseléel grava sur la plaque, comme sur un cachet: SAINTETÉ DU SEIGNEUR.
38 also its five pillars, and their pegs; and he overlaid their tops and their fillets [with] gold, and their five sockets [are] brass.
Et il la posa sur la bordure d'hyacinthe pour l’attacher au haut de la tiare, comme le Seigneur l'avait prescrit à Moïse.
