Psalms 80
1 To victorie; this salm is witnessing of Asaph for lilies. Thou that gouernest Israel, yyue tent; that leedist forth Joseph as a scheep. Thou that sittist on cherubym; be schewid bifore Effraym,
Pour la fin, pour ceux qui seront changés, témoignage d’Asaph, psaume. Vous qui gouvernez Israël, soyez attentif: vous qui conduisez, comme une brebis, Joseph. Vous qui êtes assis sur les Chérubins, manifestez-vous
2 Beniamyn, and Manasses. Stire thi power, and come thou; that thou make vs saaf.
Devant Ephraïm, Benjamin et Manassé.
3 God of vertues, turne thou vs; and schewe thi face, and we schulen be saaf.
Ô Dieu, convertissez-nous, et montrez votre face, et nous serons sauvés.
4 Lord God of vertues; hou longe schalt thou be wrooth on the preier of thi seruaunt?
Seigneur, Dieu des armées, jusques à quand serez-vous irrité au sujet de la prière de votre serviteur?
5 Hou longe schalt thou feede vs with the breed of teeris; and schalt yyue drynke to vs with teeris in mesure?
Jusques à quand nous nourrirez-vous d’un pain de larmes, et nous donnerez-vous à boire des larmes dans une mesure?
6 Thou hast set vs in to ayenseiyng to oure neiyboris; and oure enemyes han scornyde vs.
Vous nous avez posés comme un objet de contradiction à nos voisins; et nos ennemis nous ont insultés.
7 God of vertues, turne thou vs; and schewe thi face, and we schulen be saaf.
Dieu des armées, convertissez-nous, et montrez votre face, et nous serons sauvés.
8 Thou translatidist a vyne fro Egipt; thou castidist out hethene men, and plauntidist it.
Vous avez transporté de l’Égypte une vigne, vous avez chassé des nations, et vous l’avez plantée.
9 Thou were leeder of the weie in the siyt therof; and thou plauntidist the rootis therof, and it fillide the lond.
Vous avez été un guide de route devant elle: vous avez planté ses racines, et elle a rempli la terre.
10 The schadewe therof hilide hillis; and the braunchis therof filliden the cedris of God.
Son ombre a couvert les montagnes, et ses rameaux les cèdres de Dieu.
11 It streiyte forth hise siouns til to the see, and the generacioun ther of `til to the flood.
Elle a étendu ses branches jusqu’à la mer, et ses rameaux jusqu’au fleuve.
12 Whi hast thou destried the wal therof; and alle men that goen forth bi the weie gaderiden awei the grapis therof?
Pourquoi donc avez-vous détruit son mur de clôture, et pourquoi la vendangent-ils, tous ceux qui passent dans le chemin?
13 A boor of the wode distriede it; and a singuler wielde beeste deuouride it.
Un sanglier de forêt l’a entièrement dévastée; et une bête sauvage l’a broutée.
14 God of vertues, be thou turned; biholde thou fro heuene, and se, and visite this vyne.
Dieu des armées, revenez, regardez du haut du ciel et voyez, et visitez cette vigne.
15 And make thou it perfit, which thi riythond plauntide; and biholde thou on the sone of man, which thou hast confermyd to thee.
Faites-la prospérer, celle que votre droite à plantée, et portez vos regards sur le fils de l’homme que vous avez établi fermement pour vous.
16 Thingis brent with fier, and vndurmyned; schulen perische for the blamyng of thi cheer.
Elle a été brûlée par le feu et déchaussée; par la réprimande de votre visage ils périront.
17 Thin hond be maad on the man of thi riythond; and on the sone of man, whom thou hast confermed to thee.
Que votre main repose sur l’homme de votre droite, et sur le fils de l’homme que vous avez établi fermement pour vous.
18 And we departiden not fro thee; thou schalt quykene vs, and we schulen inwardli clepe thi name.
Et nous ne nous éloignerons plus de vous; vous nous rendrez la vie, et nous invoquerons votre nom.
19 Lord God of vertues, turne thou vs; and schewe thi face, and we schulen be saaf.
Seigneur, Dieu des armées, convertissez-nous; et montrez votre face, et nous serons sauvés.
