Psalms 63
1 `The salm of Dauid, `whanne he was in the desert of Judee. God, my God, Y wake to thee ful eerli. Mi soule thirstide to thee; my fleisch thirstide to thee ful many foold.
En psalm av David, när han var i Juda öken. Gud, du är min Gud, bittida söker jag dig; min själ törstar efter dig, min kropp längtar efter dig, i ett torrt land, som försmäktar utan vatten.
2 In a lond forsakun with out wei, and with out water, so Y apperide to thee in hooli; that Y schulde se thi vertu, and thi glorie.
Så skådar jag nu efter dig i helgedomen, för att få se din makt och ära.
3 For thi merci is betere than lyues; my lippis schulen herie thee.
Ty din nåd är bättre än liv; mina läppar skola prisa dig.
4 So Y schal blesse thee in my lijf; and in thi name Y schal reise myn hondis.
Så skall jag då lova dig, så länge jag lever; i ditt namn skall jag upplyfta mina händer.
5 Mi soule be fillid as with inner fatnesse and vttermere fatnesse; and my mouth schal herie with lippis of ful out ioiyng.
Min själ varder mättad såsom av märg och fett; och med jublande läppar lovsjunger min mun,
6 So Y hadde mynde on thee on my bed, in morewtidis Y shal thenke of thee;
när jag kommer ihåg dig på mitt läger och under nattens väkter tänker på dig.
7 for thou were myn helpere. And in the keueryng of thi wyngis Y schal make `ful out ioye, my soule cleuede after thee;
Ty du är min hjälp, och under dina vingars skumma jublar jag.
8 thi riythond took me vp.
Min själ håller sig intill dig; din högra hand uppehåller mig.
9 Forsothe thei souyten in veyn my lijf, thei schulen entre in to the lower thingis of erthe;
Men dessa som stå efter mitt liv och vilja fördärva det, de skola fara ned i jordens djup.
10 thei schulen be bitakun in to the hondis of swerd, thei schulen be maad the partis of foxis.
De skola givas till pris åt svärdet, rovdjurs byte skola de varda.
11 But the king schal be glad in God; and alle men schulen be preysid that sweren in hym, for the mouth of hem, that speken wickid thingis, is stoppid.
Men konungen skall glädja sig i Gud; berömma sig skall var och en som svär vid honom, ty de lögnaktigas mun skall varda tillstoppad.
