Psalms 29

1 The salm, ethir song of Dauid. Ye sones of God, brynge to the Lord; brynge ye to the Lord the sones of rammes.

Mpeni sifa Yahwe, enyi wana wa Mungu! Mpeni sifa Yahwe kwa ajili ya utukufu wake na nguvu.

2 Brynge ye to the Lord glorie and onour; brynge ye to the Lord glorie to his name; herie ye the Lord in his hooli large place.

Mpeni Yahwe utukufu ambao jina lake linastahili. Mpigieni magoti Yahwe katika mapambo ya utakatifu.

3 The vois of the Lord on watris, God of mageste thundride; the Lord on many watris.

Sauti ya Yahwe imesikika zaidi ya maji; Mungu wa radi ya utukufu, radi yaYahwe i juu ya maji mengi.

4 The vois of the Lord in vertu; the vois of the Lord in greet doyng.

Sauti ya Yahwe ina nguvu; sauti ya Yahwe ni kuu.

5 The vois of the Lord brekynge cedris; and the Lord schal breke the cedris of the Liban.

Sauti ya Yahwe huivunja mierezi; Yahwe huivunja vipande vipande mierezi ya Lebanon.

6 And he schal al to-breke hem to dust as a calf of the Liban; and the derling was as the sone of an vnycorn.

Yeye huifanya Lebanoni kuruka kama ndama wa ng'ombe na Sirioni kama mwana wa nyati.

7 The vois of the Lord departynge the flawme of fier;

Sauti ya Yahwe hutoa miale ya moto.

8 the vois of the Lord schakynge desert; and the Lord schal stire togidere the desert of Cades.

Sauti ya Yahwe hutetemesha Jangwa; Yahwe hutetemesha jangwa la Kadeshi.

9 The vois of the Lord makynge redi hertis, and he schal schewe thicke thingis; and in his temple alle men schulen seie glorie.

Sauti ya Yahwe huufanya miti mikubwa kutikisika na huipukutisha misitu. Kila mmoja katika hekalu lake husema, “Utukufu!”

10 The Lord makith to enhabite the greet flood; and the Lord schal sitte kyng with outen ende.

Yahwe hukaa kama mfalme juu ya mafuriko; Yahwe hukaa kama mfalme milele.

11 The Lord schal yyue vertu to his puple; the Lord schal blesse his puple in pees.

Yahwe huwatia nguvu watu wake; Yahwe huwa bariki watu wake na amani.
