Psalms 148

1 Alleluya. Ye of heuenes, herie the Lord; herie ye hym in hiye thingis.

૧યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો. આકાશોથી યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો; ઉચ્ચસ્થાનોમાં તેમની સ્તુતિ કરો.

2 Alle hise aungels, herie ye hym; alle hise vertues, herye ye hym.

૨તેમના સર્વ દૂતો, તમે તેમની સ્તુતિ કરો; તેમનાં સર્વ સૈન્યો, તેમની સ્તુતિ કરો.

3 Sunne and moone, herie ye hym; alle sterris and liyt, herie ye hym.

૩સૂર્ય તથા ચંદ્ર, તમે તેમની સ્તુતિ કરો; સર્વ ઝગઝગતાં તારા, તેમની સ્તુતિ કરો.

4 Heuenes of heuenes, herie ye hym; and the watris that ben aboue heuenes,

૪આકાશોનાં આકાશ, તમે તેમની સ્તુતિ કરો આકાશ ઉપરનાં પાણી, તેમની સ્તુતિ કરો.

5 herie ye the name of the Lord.

૫યહોવાહના નામની સ્તુતિ તેઓ કરો, કેમ કે તેમની આજ્ઞાથી તેઓ ઉત્પન્ન થયાં.

6 For he seide, and thingis weren maad; he comaundide, and thingis weren maad of nouyt. He ordeynede tho thingis in to the world, and in to the world of world; he settide a comaundement, and it schal not passe.

૬વળી તેમણે સદાકાળને માટે તેઓને સ્થાપન કર્યાં છે; જેનો અપરાધ તેઓ કરી શકે નહિ, એવો નિયમ તેમણે કર્યો છે.

7 Ye of erthe, herie ye the Lord; dragouns, and alle depthis of watris.

૭હે પૃથ્વી પરના બધા જ જીવો, તમે યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો, હે સમુદ્રના જીવો અને મહાસાગરનાં ઊંડાણો, તમે તેમની સ્તુતિ કરો.

8 Fier, hail, snow, iys, spiritis of tempestis; that don his word.

૮અગ્નિ તથા કરા, હિમ તથા મેઘ, આંધીના વાયુ, જે તેમનું વચન પૂરું કરે છે,

9 Mounteyns, and alle litle hillis; trees berynge fruyt, and alle cedris.

૯પર્વતો તથા ડુંગરો ફળવૃક્ષો તથા સર્વ દેવદારો,

10 Wielde beestis, and alle tame beestis; serpentis, and fetherid briddis.

૧૦વન્ય જાનવરો તથા સર્વ પશુઓ, પેટે ચાલનારાં જીવજંતુ તથા ઊડનારાં પક્ષીઓ,

11 The kingis of erthe, and alle puplis; the princis, and alle iugis of erthe.

૧૧પૃથ્વીના રાજાઓ અને સર્વ પ્રજાઓ, રાજકુમારો તથા પૃથ્વીના સર્વ ન્યાયાધીશો,

12 Yonge men, and virgyns, elde men with yongere, herie ye the name of the Lord;

૧૨જુવાન પુરુષો તથા જુવાન સ્ત્રીઓ, વૃદ્ધો તથા બાળકો.

13 for the name of hym aloone is enhaunsid.

૧૩તમે સર્વ યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો, કારણ કે એકલું તેમનું જ નામ પ્રતિષ્ઠાપાત્ર છે અને તેમનું ગૌરવ આકાશ તથા પૃથ્વી કરતાં મોટું છે.

14 His knouleching be on heuene and erthe; and he hath enhaunsid the horn of his puple. An ympne be to alle hise seyntis; to the children of Israel, to a puple neiyynge to hym.

૧૪તેમણે પોતાના લોકોનું શિંગ ઊંચું કર્યું છે જેથી તેમના ભક્તો તેમની સ્તુતિ કરે, તેમની પાસેના ઇઝરાયલ લોકોને તેમણે ઊંચા કર્યા છે. યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો.
