Micah 7
1 Wo to me, for Y am maad as he that gaderith in heruest rasyns of grapis; there is no clustre for to ete; my soule desiride figis ripe bifore othere.
AHI lasso me! perciocchè io son divenuto come [quando si son fatte] le ricolte [de' frutti] della state; come [quando] si è racimolato dopo la vendemmia; non [vi è più] grappolo da mangiare; l'anima mia ha desiderato un frutto primaticcio.
2 The hooli perischide fro erthe, and riytful is not in men; alle aspien, ether setten tresoun, in blood, a man huntith his brother to deth.
[L'uomo] pio [è] venuto meno in terra, e non [vi è più] alcun [uomo] diritto fra gli uomini; tutti quanti insidiano al sangue, ognuno caccia con la rete al suo fratello.
3 The yuel of her hondis thei seien good; the prince axith, and the domesman is in yeldyng; and a greet man spak the desir of his soule, and thei sturbliden togidere it.
Ambe le mani [sono intente] a far male a più potere; il principe chiede, e il giudice [giudica] per ricompensa, e il grande pronunzia la perversità dell'anima sua, ed essi l'intrecciano.
4 He that is best in hem, is as a paluyre; and he that is riytful, is as a thorn of hegge. The dai of thi biholdyng, thi visityng cometh, now schal be distriyng of hem.
Il miglior di loro [è] come una spina, il [più] diritto [è] peggior che una siepe; il giorno delle tue guardie, la tua punizione è venuta; ora sarà la lor perplessità.
5 Nyle ye bileue to a frend, and nyle ye truste in a duyk; fro hir that slepith in thi bosum, kepe thou closyngis of thi mouth.
Non credete al famigliare amico, non vi confidate nel conduttore; guarda gli usci della tua bocca da colei che ti giace in seno.
6 For the sone doith wrong to the fadir, and the douyter schal rise ayens hir modir, and the wijf of the sone ayens the modir of hir hosebonde; the enemyes of a man ben the homeli, ether houshold meynee, of hym.
Perciocchè il figliuolo villaneggia il padre, la figliuola si leva contro alla madre, [e] la nuora contro alla suocera; i famigliari di ciascuno [sono] i suoi nemici.
7 Forsothe Y schal biholde to the Lord, Y schal abide God my sauyour; the Lord my God schal here me.
Ma io starò alla veletta, riguardando al Signore; io aspetterò l'Iddio della mia salute; l'Iddio mio mi esaudirà.
8 Thou, myn enemye, be not glad on me, for Y felle doun, Y schal rise; whanne Y sitte in derknessis, the Lord is my liyt.
Non rallegrarti di me, nemica mia; se son caduta, io mi rileverò; se seggo nelle tenebre, il Signore mi [sarà] luce.
9 Y schal bere wraththe of the Lord, for Y haue synned to hym, til he deme my cause, and make my doom; he schal lede out me in to liyt, Y schal se riytwisnesse of hym.
Io porterò l'indegnazione del Signore; perciocchè io ho peccato contro a lui, finchè egli dibatta la mia lite, e mi faccia ragione, [e] mi tragga fuori alla luce; finchè io vegga la sua giustizia.
10 And myn enemye schal biholde me, and sche schal be hilid with confusioun, which seith to me, Where is thi Lord God? Myn iyen schulen se hir, now sche schal be in to defoulyng, as clei of stretis.
Allora la mia nemica [lo] vedrà, e vergogna la coprirà; [essa] che mi diceva: Dov'è il Signore Iddio tuo? gli occhi miei vedranno in lei [ciò che desiderano]; ora sarà ridotta ad esser calpestata, come il fango delle strade.
11 Dai schal come, that thi wallis be bildid; in that dai lawe schal be maad afer.
Nel giorno stesso che le tue chiusure saranno riedificate, l'editto si allontanerà.
12 In that dai and Assur schal come til to thee, and `til to stronge citees, and fro stronge citees til to flood; and to see fro see, and to hil fro hil.
In quel tempo si verrà a te fin dall'Assiria; e dalle città del paese della fortezza; e dal paese della fortezza fino al fiume, e da un mare fino all'altro, e da un monte fino all'altro.
13 And erthe schal be in to desolacioun for her dwelleris, and for fruyt of the thouytis of hem.
Ma pure il paese sarà messo in desolazione, per cagion de' suoi abitanti, per lo frutto de' lor fatti.
14 Fede thou thi puple in thi yerde, the floc of thin eritage, that dwellen aloone in wielde wode; in the myddil of Carmel thei schulen be fed of Basan and of Galaad,
Pastura il tuo popolo con la tua verga; la greggia della tua eredità, che se ne sta solitaria nelle selve, in mezzo di Carmel; pasturi ella in Basan, ed in Galaad, come a' dì antichi.
15 bi elde daies, bi daies of thi goyng out of the lond of Egipt. Y schal schewe to hym wondurful thingis;
Io le farò veder cose maravigliose, come a' dì che tu uscisti del paese di Egitto.
16 hethene men schulen se, and thei schulen be confoundid on al her strengthe; thei schulen putte hondis on her mouth, the eris of hem schulen be deef;
Le genti vedranno [queste cose], e saranno svergognate di tutta la lor potenza; si metteranno la mano in su la bocca, le loro orecchie saranno assordate.
17 thei schulen licke dust as a serpent; as crepynge thingis of erthe thei schulen be disturblid of her housis; thei schulen not desire oure Lord God, and thei schulen drede thee.
Leccheranno la polvere, come la biscia, come i rettili della terra; tremeranno da' lor ricetti, [e] si verranno ad arrendere al Signore Iddio nostro, con ispavento; e temeranno di te.
18 God, who is lijk thee, that doist awei wickidnesse, and berist ouer the synne of relifs of thin eritage? He shal no more sende in his stronge veniaunce, for he is willynge merci; he schal turne ayen,
Chi [è] l'Iddio pari a te, che perdoni l'iniquità, e passi di sopra al misfatto del rimanente della tua eredità? egli non ritiene in perpetuo l'ira sua; perciocchè egli prende piacere in benignità.
19 and haue merci on vs. He schal put doun oure wickidnessis, and schal caste fer in to depnesse of the see alle oure synnes.
Egli avrà di nuovo pietà di noi, egli metterà le nostre iniquità sotto i piedi, e getterà nel fondo del mare tutti i nostri peccati.
20 Thou schalt yyue treuthe to Jacob, merci to Abraham, whiche thou sworist to oure fadris fro elde daies.
Tu atterrai a Giacobbe la verità, [e] ad Abrahamo la benignità, la quale tu giurasti a' nostri padri già anticamente.
