Leviticus 16
1 And the Lord spak to Moises, aftir the deeth of the twei sones of Aaron, whanne thei offriden alien fier, and weren slayn, and comaundide to hym,
Onyenwe anyị gwara Mosis okwu mgbe ụmụ ndị ikom Erọn abụọ ndị ahụ bịara nʼihu Onyenwe anyị nwụsịrị.
2 and seide, Speke thou to Aaron, thi brother, that he entre not in al tyme in to the seyntuarie, which is with ynne the veil bifor the propiciatorie, bi which the arke is hilid, that he die not; for Y schal appere in a cloude on Goddis answeryng place;
Onyenwe anyị sịrị Mosis, “Gwa nwanne gị nwoke Erọn si ya ka ọ ghara ịbata mgbe ọbụla ọ chọrọ, nʼime Ebe ahụ Kachasị Nsọ nke dị nʼazụ akwa mgbochi, nke dị nʼihu ebe mkpuchi mmehie dị nʼelu igbe ọgbụgba ndụ ahụ, ma ọ bụghị ya ọ ga-anwụ. Nʼihi na aga m apụta ìhè nʼime igwe ojii dị nʼelu ebe mkpuchi ahụ.
3 `no but he do these thingis bifore. He schal offer a calf for synne, and a ram in to brent sacrifice;
“Otu a ka Erọn ga-esi na-abata nʼEbe ahụ Kachasị Nsọ. Ọ ga-eweta nwa oke ehi nʼihi aja mmehie, na ebule ọ ga-eji chụọ aja nsure ọkụ,
4 he schal be clothid with a lynnun coote, he schal hide the schamefast membris with pryuy lynnun clothis; he schal be gird with a lynnun girdil, he schal putte a lynnun mytre on his heed; for these clothis ben hooli, with whiche alle he schal be clothid, whanne he is waischun.
Ọ ga-eyikwasị onwe ya uwe mwụda ọcha, ya na uwe ime ahụ dị ọcha. Ọ ga-eke gburugburu ukwu ya ihe ike nʼukwu akwa ọcha, keekwa akwa ọcha nʼisi ya. Ndị a bụ uwe dị nsọ, nʼihi ya, ọ ga-ebu ụzọ saa ahụ tupu ọ na-eyi ha.
5 And he schal take of al the multitude of the sones of Israel twei kidis for synne, and o ram in to brent sacrifice;
Ọ ga-esi nʼaka ọgbakọ ụmụ Izrel nata mkpi abụọ nʼihi aja mmehie, na otu ebule nʼihi aja nsure ọkụ.
6 and whanne he offrith a calf, and preieth for hym,
“Erọn ga-eweta oke ehi nke ya, maka aja mmehie iji kpuchie mmehie nke ya na nke ezinaụlọ ya.
7 and for his hows, he schal make twei `buckis of geet to stonde bifor the Lord, in the dore of the tabernacle of witnessyng;
Emesịa, ọ ga-ewere mkpi abụọ ndị ahụ chee ha nʼihu Onyenwe anyị nʼọnụ ụzọ ụlọ nzute ahụ.
8 and he schal sende `on euer eithir, o lot to the Lord, and another lot to the goot that schal be sent out.
Ọ ga-efe nza nʼisi mkpi abụọ ahụ, ịchọpụta nke dịrị Onyenwe anyị nke ọzọ abụrụ nke ọ ga-ahapụ.
9 Whos lot goith out to the Lord, he schal offre it for synne;
Mkpi ahụ nza mara ga-abụ nke Onyenwe anyị, ya ka Erọn ga-egbu dịka aja mmehie.
10 sotheli whos lot goith out in to goot that schal be sent out, he schal sette hym quyk bifor the Lord, that he sende preyers `on hym, and sende hym out in to wildirnesse.
Ma mkpi ahụ nke nza mara dịka ewu na-ewere ọnọdụ iburu mmehie ka a ga-eche na ndụ nʼihu Onyenwe anyị, nʼihi iji ya mee mmemme mkpuchi mmehie, a ga-ahapụ ya ka o buru mmehie niile kpafuo nʼọzara.
11 Whanne these thingis ben doon riytfuli, he schal offre the calf, and `he schal preye for hym silf, and for his hows, and schal offre the calf.
“Erọn ga-eweta oke ehi maka aja mmehie nke ya onwe ya, iji kpuchie mmehie ya na nke ezinaụlọ ya. Ọ ga-egbu oke ehi ahụ maka aja mmehie nke ya onwe ya.
12 And whanne he hath take the censeer, which he hath fillid of the coolis of the auter, and `he hath take in hond the `swete smellynge spicery maad into encense, he schal entre ouer the veil in to the hooli thingis;
Ọ ga-esite nʼebe ịchụ aja dị nʼihu Onyenwe anyị were ihe ịgụ ọkụ jupụtara nʼicheku ọkụ. Ọ ga-ewerekwa ụda na-esi isi ụtọ ruru mkpoju aka abụọ, were ha bata nʼime akụkụ nke ọzọ nke akwa mgbochi ahụ.
13 that whanne swete smellynge spiceries ben put on the fier, the cloude and `vapour of tho hile Goddis answeryng place, which is on the witnessyng, and he die not.
Nʼebe ahụ ọ ga-awụnye ụda ndị ahụ na-esi isi ụtọ nʼelu icheku ọkụ ahụ nʼihu Onyenwe anyị, ka anwụrụ ọkụ nke ụda ndị a kpuchie ebe mkpuchi mmehie ahụ dị nʼelu Ihe Ama ahụ ka ọ ghara ịnwụ.
14 Also he schal take of the `blood of the calf, and he schal sprenge seuensithis with the fyngur ayens `the propiciatorie, `to the eest.
Ọ ga-ewebatakwa ụfọdụ ọbara oke ehi ahụ, jiri mkpịsịaka ya fesa ya nʼihu ebe mkpuchi mmehie ahụ, nʼakụkụ ọwụwa anyanwụ, fesakwa ya ugboro asaa nʼihu ebe mkpuchi mmehie ahụ.
15 And whanne he hath slayn the `buk of geet, for synne of the puple, he schal brynge in the blood therof with ynne the veil, as it is comaundid of the `blood of the calf, that he sprynge euene ayens Goddis answeryng place,
“Emesịa, ọ ga-esi nʼebe ahụ pụọ gaa gbuo mkpi aja mmehie ụmụ Izrel, werekwa ọbara ya bata nʼazụ akwa mgbochi fesa ya nʼelu ebe mkpuchi mmehie ahụ, na nʼihu ya, dịka o jiri ọbara nwa oke ehi ahụ mee.
16 and he schal clense the seyntuarie fro vnclennessis of the sones of Israel, and fro her trespassyngis, and alle synnes. Bi this custom he schal do in the tabernacle of witnessyng, which is set among hem, in the myddis of partis of the abitacioun `of hem.
Nʼụzọ dị otu a, ọ ga-ekpuchiri Ebe ahụ Kachasị Nsọ mmehie ya, nʼihi mmehie na nnupu isi ụmụ Izrel, ihe ọbụla mmehie ndị ahụ bụ. Ọ ga-achụkwa ụdị aja a nʼihi ụlọ nzute ahụ, nʼihi na ọ dị nʼetiti ebe obibi rụrụ arụ nke ụmụ Izrel.
17 No man be in the tabernacle, whanne the bischop schal entre in to the seyntuarie, that he preye for hym silf, and for his hows, and for al the cumpeny of Israel, til he go out of the tabernacle.
O nweghị onye ọbụla ọzọ ga-anọ nʼime ụlọ nzute ahụ, site nʼoge Erọn banyere nʼEbe ahụ Kachasị Nsọ ịchụ aja mkpuchi mmehie tutu ruo mgbe ọ pụtara, mgbe ọ chụchara aja mkpuchi mmehie maka onwe ya na ezinaụlọ ya, na maka ụmụ Izrel niile.
18 Sotheli whanne he hath go out to the auter which is bifor the Lord, preye he for hym silf, and schede he on the hornes therof, bi cumpas, the blood `that is takun of the calf, and of the `buk of geet;
“Mgbe o si nʼebe ahụ pụta, gaa nʼebe ịchụ aja dị nʼihu Onyenwe anyị kpuchiere ya mmehie ya. Ọ ga-ewere ụfọdụ ọbara nwa oke ehi ahụ na nke mkpi ahụ tee ya na mpi niile dị nʼebe ịchụ aja ahụ.
19 and sprynge he seuensithis with the fyngur, and clense he, and halewe the autir fro vnclennessis of the sones of Israel.
Ọ ga-eji mkpịsịaka ya fesa ụfọdụ ọbara ahụ nʼelu ebe ịchụ aja ahụ ugboro asaa iji hichapụ adịghị ọcha ya nʼihi ịrụ arụ ụmụ Izrel, na ido ya nsọ.
20 Aftir that he hath clensid the seyntuarie, and tabernacle, and auter, thanne offre he the lyuynge `buc of geet;
“Mgbe Erọn chụchara aja mkpuchi mmehie maka Ebe ahụ Kachasị Nsọ, ụlọ nzute, nakwa ebe ịchụ aja, ọ ga-akpụbata mkpi ahụ e debere ndụ.
21 and whanne euer eithir hond is set on the heed therof, knowleche the preest alle the wickidnessis of the sones of Israel, and alle the trespassis and synnes `of hem, whiche the preest schal wische to the heed therof, and schal sende hym out in to deseert bi a man maad redi.
Ọ ga-ebikwasị aka ya abụọ nʼisi ya, kwupụta ajọ omume na nnupu isi ụmụ Izrel niile, mmehie ha niile, bokwasị ha mkpi ahụ nʼisi. Ọ ga-ezipụ mkpi ahụ pụọ nʼime ọzara site nʼaka onye ahụ a họpụtara ime nke a.
22 And whanne the `buc of geet hath bore alle the wickidnessis `of hem in to a deseert lond,
Nʼụzọ dị otu a, mkpi ahụ ga-eburu mmehie ndị ahụ niile baa nʼebe mmadụ ọbụla na-ebighị. Nwoke ahụ ga-ahapụkwa ya nʼọzara.
23 and is left `in deseert, Aaron schal turn ayen in to the tabernacle of witnessyng; and whanne the clothis ben put of, in whiche he was clothid bifore, whanne he entrid in to the seyntuarie of God, and ben left there,
“Mgbe ahụ, Erọn ga-aba nʼime ụlọ nzute ahụ, yipụ uwe akwa ọcha ndị nchụaja ahụ niile o yi nʼahụ ya tupu ọ banye nʼEbe ahụ Kachasị Nsọ. Ọ ga-awụsa ha nʼebe ahụ.
24 he schal waische his fleisch in the hooli place, and he schal be clothid in his owen clothis, and aftir that he hath go out, and hath offrid the brent sacrifice of hym silf, and of the puple, he schal preye as wel for hym silf, as for the puple;
Ọ ga-eji mmiri saa ahụ ya nʼakụkụ ebe nsọ ahụ, yirikwa uwe efu ya. Mgbe ahụ, ọ ga-apụta bịa chụọ aja nsure ọkụ nke onwe ya, na aja nsure ọkụ nke ndị ahụ, maka ikpuchiri onwe ya, na ikpuchikwara ndị ahụ mmehie ha.
25 and he schal brenne on the auter the innere fatnesse which is offrid for synne.
Ọ ga-akpọkwa abụba anụ e ji chụọ aja mmehie ahụ ọkụ nʼelu ebe ịchụ aja.
26 Sotheli he that leet go the `buk of geet able to be sent out, schal waische hise clothis and bodi with water, and so he schal entre in to the castels.
“Mgbe nwoke ahụ kpụgara mkpi ahụ nʼọzara hapụ ya, lọtara, ọ ga-asa ahụ ya na uwe ya tupu ọ laghachi nʼime obodo.
27 Forsothe thei schulen bere out of the castels the calf and `buk of geet, that weren offrid for synne, and whos blood was brouyt in to the seyntuarie, that the clensyng were fillid; and thei schulen brenne bi fier as well the skynnys, as the fleischis and dung of tho.
Oke ehi nakwa mkpi maka ịchụ aja mmehie ahụ, bụ nke ewebatara ọbara ha nʼime Ebe ahụ Kachasị Nsọ, maka ikpuchi mmehie, ka aghaghị ibupụ nʼazụ ọmụma ụlọ ikwu; a ga-akpọ akpụkpọ ha, anụ ahụ ha na mgbịrị afọ ha niile ọkụ.
28 And who euer brenneth tho, schal waische hise clothis and fleisch in watir, and so he schal entre in to the castels.
Onye ga-akpọ ha ọkụ ga-asa uwe ya, saakwa ahụ ya tupu ọ laghachi nʼime obodo.
29 And this schal be to you a lawful thing euerlastynge; in the seuenthe monethe, in the tenthe dai of the monethe, ye schulen turment youre soulis, and ye schulen not do ony werk, nethir a man borun in the lond, nether a comelyng which is a pilgrym among you.
“Nke a ga-abụrụ unu ụkpụrụ ebighị ebi. Nʼafọ ọbụla, unu ga-ebu ọnụ, hapụ ịrụ ọrụ ọbụla, nʼụbọchị iri nke ọnwa asaa. Iwu a dịrị nwa afọ ala maọbụ onye ọbịa bi nʼetiti unu.
30 The delyueryng fro synne, and the clensyng of you schal be in this dai, ye schulen be clensid bifore the Lord fro alle youre synnes;
Nʼihi na nʼụbọchị a ka a na-ekpuchiri unu mmehie unu, ime ka unu dịrị ọcha. Mgbe ahụ, unu ga-abụ ndị dị ọcha site na mmehie unu niile nʼihu Onyenwe anyị.
31 for it is sabat of restyng, and ye schulen turment youre soulis bi euerlastynge religioun.
Ọ bụ ụbọchị izuike nye unu, bụrụkwa ụbọchị unu ga-ebu ọnụ. Iwu a enweghị mgbanwe!
32 Sotheli the preest schal clense, which is anoyntid, and whos hondis ben halewid, that he be set in preesthod for his fadir; and he schal be clothid in a lynnun stoole, and in hooli clothis,
Onye nchụaja e tere mmanụ, nke e doro nsọ dịka onye nchụaja ịnọchi nna ya, ga-achụ aja mkpuchi mmehie ndị a, yirikwa akwa ọcha ahụ, bụ uwe nsọ ahụ.
33 and he schal clense the seyntuarie, and the tabernacle of witnessyng, and the auter, and the preestis, and al the puple.
Ọ ga-ekpuchiri Ebe ahụ Kachasị Nsọ na ụlọ nzute, ebe ịchụ aja na ndị nchụaja, na mkpokọta ndị obodo niile mmehie ha.
34 And this schal be to you a lawful thing euerlastynge, that ye preye for the sones of Israel, and for alle the synnes `of hem, onys in the yeer. Therfor he dide, as the Lord comaundide to Moises.
“Nke a ga-abụ iwu ebighị ebi nye unu. Otu ugboro nʼotu afọ ka a ga-ekpuchi mmehie maka mmehie ndị Izrel niile.” E mezuru ihe ndị a niile dịka Onyenwe anyị si nye ya Mosis nʼiwu.
