Leviticus 12
1 And the Lord spak to Moises, `and seide, Speke thou to the sones of Israel,
Yahweh akamwambia Musa,
2 and thou schalt seie to hem, If a womman, whanne sche hath resseyued seed, childith a knaue child, sche schal be vnclene bi seuene daies bi the daies of departyng of corrupt blood, that renneth bi monethis;
“zungumza na watu wa Israeli, uwaambie, 'endapo mwanamke anakuwa mjamzito na kujifungua mtoto wa kiume, naye atakuwa najisi kwa muda wasiku saba, ni kama tu vile anavyokuwa najisi katika siku za kipindi chake kwa mwezi.
3 and the yong child schal be circumsidid in the eiytithe dai.
Katika siku ya nane nyama ya govi la mtoto mvulana itatahiriwa.
4 Sotheli sche schal dwelle thre and thretti daies in the blood of hir purifiyng; sche schal not touche ony hooli thing, nethir sche schal entre in to the seyntuarie, til the daies of her clensing be fillid.
Kisha utakaso wa mama wa kutokwa damu yake utaendelea kwa muda wa siku tatu. Haimpasi kugusa kitu chochote kilicho kitakatifu au kukaribia eneo la hema mpaka zitakapomalizika siku za kutakaswa kwake.
5 Sotheli if sche childith a female, sche schal be vnclene twei woukis, bi the custom of flowyng of vnclene blood, and `thre scoor and sixe daies sche schal dwelle in the blood of her clensyng.
Lakini kama atajifungua mtoto wa kike, naye atakuwa najisi kwa mud wa majuma mawili, kama alivyo wakati wa kipindi chake. Kisha utakaso wa mama utaendelea kwa siku sitini sita.
6 And whanne the daies of hir clensyng, for a sone, ether for a douytir, ben fillid, sche schal brynge a lomb of o yeer in to brent sacrifice, and a `bryd of a culuer, ethir a turtle, for synne, to the dore of the tabernacle of witnessyng;
Siku za kutakaswa kwake zitakapoisha, kwa ajili ya mwana au binti, atalazimika kuleta kwa kuhani mwana-kondoo wa mwaka mmoja kuwa sadaka ya kuteketezwa, na kinda la njiwa au huwa kuwa sadaka ya dhambi, mbele ya ingilio la hema la kukutania,
7 and sche schal yyue to the preest, which schal offre tho bifor the Lord, and schal preye for hir, and so sche schal be clensid fro the fowyng of hir blood. This is the lawe of a womman childynge a male, ethir a female.
Kisha atawatoa mbele za Yahweh na kufanya sadaka ya upatanisho kwa ajili yake, naye atatakaswa kutokana kutiririka kwa damu yake. Hii ndiyo sheria kuhusu mwanamke aifunguaye ama mtoto wa kiume au wa kike.
8 That if hir hond fyndith not, nethir may offre a lomb, sche schal take twei turtlis, ethir twei `briddis of culueres, oon in to brent sacrifice, and the tother for synne; and the preest schal preye for hir, and so sche schal be clensid.
Na kama hana uwezo wa kutoa mwana-kondoo, naye ataleta makinda mawili ya njiwa ua hua, mmoja kwa ajili ya sadaka ya kuteketezwa na mwingine kuwa sadaka ya dhambi, naye kuhani atafanya upatanisho kwa ajili yake; naye atakuwa safi.”
