Joshua 21
1 And the princes of meynees of Leuy neiyiden to Eleazar, preest, and to Josue, sone of Nun, and to the duykis of kynredis, bi alle the lynagis of the sones of Israel;
Da traten die obersten Väter unter den Leviten zu Eleasar, dem Priester, und zu Josua, dem Sohne Nuns, und zu den Familienhäuptern der Stämme der Kinder Israel
2 and the Leuytis spaken to hem in Sylo, of the lond of Canaan, and seiden, The Lord comaundide bi the honde of Moises, that citees schulden be youun to vs to dwelle ynne, and the subarbis of tho to werk beestis to be fed.
und redeten mit ihnen zu Silo, im Lande Kanaan, und sprachen: Der HERR hat durch Mose geboten, daß man uns Städte geben soll, um darin zu wohnen, und die zugehörigen Weideplätze für unser Vieh.
3 And the sones of Israel yauen `of her possessiouns, bi comaundement of the Lord, citees and the subarbis of tho.
Da gaben die Kinder Israel den Leviten von ihrem Erbteil, nach dem Befehl des HERRN, diese Städte samt ihren Weideplätzen.
4 And the lot yede out in to the meynee of Caath, of the sones of Aaron, preest, of the lynages of Juda, and of Symeon, and of Beniamyn, threttene citees;
Das Los aber fiel für das Geschlecht der Kahatiter; und die Kinder Aarons, des Priesters, unter den Leviten erhielten durch das Los dreizehn Städte vom Stamme Juda, vom Stamme Simeon und vom Stamme Benjamin.
5 and to the othere of the sones of Caath, that is, to dekenes that weren left, of the lynagis of Effraym, and of Dan, and of the half lynage of Manasse, ten citees.
Den übrigen Kindern Kahats aber wurden durch das Los zehn Städte [gegeben], von den Geschlechtern des Stammes Ephraim, vom Stamm Asser und vom Stamm Naphtali und vom halben Stamm Manasse zu Basan.
6 Sotheli lot yede out to the sones of Gerson, that thei schulden take of the lynagis of Isachar, and of Aser, and of Neptalym, and of the half lynage of Manasses `in Basan, threttene citees in noumbre;
Aber den Kindern Gersons wurden durch das Los dreizehn Städte [gegeben] von den Geschlechtern des Stammes Issaschar, vom Stamm Asser und vom Stamm Naphtali und vom halben Stamm Manasse zu Basan.
7 and to the sones of Merari, bi her meynees, of the lynagis of Ruben, and of Gad, and of Zabulon, twelue citees.
Den Kindern Merari nach ihren Geschlechtern wurden zwölf Städte vom Stamme Ruben, vom Stamme Gad und vom Stamme Sebulon [gegeben].
8 And the sones of Israel yauen to dekenes cytees, and the subarbis `of tho, as the Lord comaundide bi the hond of Moises; and alle yauen bi lot.
Also gaben die Kinder Israel den Leviten durch das Los diese Städte samt ihren Weideplätzen, wie der HERR durch Mose geboten hatte.
9 Of the lynagis of the sones of Juda, and of Symeon, Josue yaf citees;
Vom Stamm der Kinder Juda und vom Stamm der Kinder Simeon traten sie folgende Städte ab, die sie mit Namen nannten.
10 to the sones of Aaron, bi the meynees of Caath, of the kyn of Leuy, of whiche citees these ben the names; for the firste lot yede out to hem;
Und sie wurden den Kindern Aarons, vom Geschlecht der Kahatiter, aus den Kindern Levi [zuteil]; denn das erste Los fiel auf sie.
11 Cariatharbe, of the fadir of Enach, which is clepid Ebron, in the hil of Juda, and the subarbis therof bi cumpas;
So gaben sie ihnen nun die Stadt Arbas, des Vaters Enaks, das ist Hebron, auf dem Gebirge Juda und ihre Weideplätze um sie her.
12 sotheli he hadde youe the feeldis and townes therof to Caleph, sone of Jephone, to haue in possessioun.
Aber den Acker und ihre Dörfer gaben sie Kaleb, dem Sohn Jephunnes, zu seiner Besitzung.
13 Therfor Josue yaf to the sones of Aaron, preest, Ebron, a citee of refuyt, and the subarbis `of it, and Lebnam with hise subarbis,
Also gaben sie den Kindern des Priesters Aaron Hebron, die Freistadt der Totschläger, und seine Weideplätze, Libna und seine Weideplätze,
14 and Jether, and Yschymon,
Jattir und seine Weideplätze, Estemoa und seine Weideplätze,
15 and Elon, and Dabir, and Ayn, and Lethan,
Holon und seine Weideplätze,
16 and Bethsames, with her subarbis; nyne citees, of twei lynagis, as it is seid.
Debir und seine Weideplätze, Ain und seine Weideplätze, Jutta und seine Weideplätze, Beth-Semes und seine Weideplätze, neun Städte von diesen zwei Stämmen.
17 Sotheli of the lynage of the sones of Beniamyn, he yaf Gabaon, and Gabee, and Anatoth, and Almon, with her subarbis;
Von dem Stamme Benjamin aber gaben sie Gibeon und seine Weideplätze, Geba und seine Weideplätze, Anatot und seine Weideplätze;
18 `foure citees.
vier Städte;
19 Alle the citees togidere of the sones of Aaron, preest, weren threttene, with her subarbis.
so daß der Städte der Kinder Aarons, der Priester, dreizehn waren, samt ihren Weideplätzen.
20 Forsothe to `the othere, bi the meynees of the sones of Caath, of the kyn of Leuy, this possessioun was youun;
Den Geschlechtern aber der Kinder Kahats, den Leviten, welche von den Kindern Kahats noch übrig waren, wurden die Städte ihres Loses von dem Stamme Ephraim zuteil.
21 of the lynage of Effraym, the citee of refuyt, Sichen, with hise subarbis, in the hil of Effraym, and Gazer,
Und sie gaben ihnen Sichem, die Freistadt der Totschläger, und seine Weideplätze auf dem Gebirge Ephraim, ferner Geser und seine Weideplätze,
22 and Sebsam, and Bethoron, with her subarbis;
Kibzaim und seine Weideplätze, Beth-Horon und seine Weideplätze; vier Städte.
23 `foure citees; also of the lynage of Dan, Helthece, and Gebethon, and Haialon,
Und von dem Stamme Dan: Elteke und seine Weideplätze, Gibbeton und seine Weideplätze;
24 and Gethremmon, with her subarbis;
Ajalon und seine Weideplätze, Gat-Rimmon und seine Weideplätze; vier Städte.
25 `foure citees; sotheli of the half lynage of Manasses, Thanach, and Gethremon, with her subarbis; `twei citees.
Von dem halben Stamm Manasse aber zwei Städte: Taanach und seine Weideplätze, Gat-Rimmon und seine Weideplätze.
26 Alle the citees ten, and the subarbis `of tho weren youun to the sones of Caath, of the lowere degree.
Im ganzen zehn Städte samt ihren Weideplätzen für die übrigen Kinder des Geschlechtes Kahats.
27 Also to the sones of Gerson, of the kyn of Leuy, Josue yaf of the half lynage of Manasses, citees of refuyt, Gaulon in Basan, and Bosra, with her subarbis, `twei citees.
Den Kindern Gersons aber, aus den Geschlechtern der Leviten, wurden von dem halben Stamm Manasse zwei Städte gegeben: Golan in Basan, die Freistadt für die Totschläger, und seine Weideplätze, dazu Beestera und seine Weideplätze;

vom Stamm Issaschar aber Kisjon und seine Weideplätze, Daberat und seine Weideplätze,
29 and Jerimoth, and Engannym, with her subarbis; `foure citees.

30 Of the lynage of Aser, he yaf Masal, and Abdon,

Vom Stamm Naphtali aber Kedesch in Galiläa, die Freistadt der Totschläger, und seine Weideplätze, Hammot-Dor und seine Weideplätze, Kartan und seine Weideplätze; drei Städte,

so daß die Gesamtzahl der Städte der Geschlechter der Gersoniter war: dreizehn Städte samt ihren Weideplätzen.
34 Sotheli to the sones of Merary, dekenes of the lowere degree, bi her meynees, was youun Getheran, of the linage of Zabulon, and Charcha, and Demna, and Nalol;
Den Geschlechtern aber der Kinder Meraris, den übrigen Leviten, wurden vom Stamme Sebulon gegeben: Jokneam und seine Weideplätze, Karta und seine Weideplätze,
35 `foure citees, with her subarbis.
Dimna und seine Weideplätze, Nahalal und seine Weideplätze; vier Städte;
36 And of the lynage of Gad, he yaf the citee of refuyt, Ramoth in Galaad, and Manaym, and Esebon, and Jaser; `foure citees, with her subarbis.
und vom Stamme Ruben: Bezer und seine Weideplätze, Jahza und seine Weideplätze,
37 And of the lynage of Ruben, biyende Jordan, ayens Jerico, he yaf `the citee of refuyt, Bosor in the wildirnesse of Mysor, and Jazer, and Jecson, and Maspha; `foure citees, with her subarbis.
Kedemot und seine Weideplätze, Mephaar und seine Weideplätze; vier Städte;
vom Stamme Gad aber Ramot in Gilead, die Freistadt für die Totschläger, und seine Weideplätze, Mahanaim und seine Weideplätze,
Hesbon und seine Weideplätze; Jaeser und seine Weideplätze; zusammen vier Städte.
40 Alle the citees of Merary, bi her meynees and kynredis, weren twelue.
Alle Städte der Kinder Meraris unter ihren Geschlechtern, die noch übrig waren von den Geschlechtern der Leviten, nach ihrem Los: zwölf Städte.
41 And so alle the citees of Leuytis, in the myddis of possessioun of the sones of Israel, weren eiyte and fourti, with her subarbis;
Also betrug die Gesamtzahl der Städte der Leviten unter dem Erbteil der Kinder Israel achtundvierzig, samt ihren Weideplätzen.
42 and alle citees weren departid by meynees.
Es war aber mit diesen Städten so, daß eine jede ihre Weideplätze um sich her hatte, eine wie die andere.
43 And the Lord yaf to Israel al the lond which he swoor hym silf to yyue to the fadris `of hem, and thei hadden it in possessioun, and dwelliden therynne.
Also gab der HERR den Kindern Israel das ganze Land, von dem er geschworen hatte, es ihren Vätern zu geben, und sie nahmen es ein und wohnten darin.
44 And pees was youun of hym in to alle naciouns `by cumpas; and noon of enemyes was hardi to withstonde hem, but alle weren dryuen in to the lordschip `of hem.
Und der HERR verschaffte ihnen Ruhe ringsum, ganz so, wie er ihren Vätern geschworen hatte, und es bestand keiner ihrer Feinde vor ihnen, sondern der HERR gab alle ihre Feinde in ihre Hand.
45 Forsothe nether o word, which he bihiyte him silf to yyue to hem, was voide, but alle wordis weren fillid in werkis.
Es fehlte nichts an all dem Guten, das der HERR dem Hause Israel versprochen hatte. Es kam alles.
