Jeremiah 35

1 The word that was maad of the Lord to Jeremye, in the daies of Joachym, sone of Josie,

Dies ist das Wort, das vom HERRN geschah zu Jeremia zur Zeit Jojakims, des Sohns Josias, des Königs Judas, und sprach:

2 kyng of Juda, and seide, Go thou to the hous of Recabitis, and speke thou to hem; and thou schalt brynge hem in to the hous of the Lord, in to o chaumbre of tresouris, and thou schalt yyue to hem to drynke wyn.

Gehe hin in der Rechabiter Haus und rede mit ihnen und führe sie in des HERRN Haus in der Kapellen eine, und schenke ihnen Wein.

3 And Y took Jeconye, the sone of Jeremye, sone of Absanye, and hise britheren, and alle the sones of hym, and al the hous of Recabitis.

Da nahm ich Jasanja, den Sohn Jeremias, des Sohns Habazinjas, samt seinen Brüdern und allen seinen Söhnen und das ganze Haus der Rechabiter

4 And Y ledde hem in to the hous of the Lord, to the treserie of the sones of Eman, sone of Godolie, the man of God; which treserie was bisidis the treserie of princes, aboue the tresour of Maasie, sone of Sellum, that was kepere of the vestiarie.

und führete sie in des HERRN Haus, in die Kapelle der Kinder Hanans, des Sohns Jegdaljas, des Mannes Gottes, welche neben der Fürsten Kapelle ist, über der Kapelle Masejas, des Sohns Sallums, des Torhüters.

5 And Y settide bifore the sones of the hous of Recabitis pecis, and grete cowpis ful of wyn; and Y seide to hem, Drinke ye wyn.

Und ich setzte den Kindern von der Rechabiter Hause Becher voll Weins und Schalen vor und sprach zu ihnen: Trinket Wein!

6 And thei answeriden, We schulen not drinke wyn; for whi Jonadab, oure fadir, the sone of Recab, comaundide to vs, and seide, Ye schulen not drinke wyn, ye and youre sones, `til in to withouten ende;

Sie aber antworteten: Wir trinken nicht Wein; denn unser Vater Jonadab, der Sohn Rechabs, hat uns geboten und gesagt: Ihr und eure Kinder sollet nimmermehr keinen Wein trinken

7 and ye schulen not bilde an hous, and ye schulen not sowe seed, and ye schulen not plaunte vynes, nether schulen haue, but ye schulen dwelle in tabernaclis in alle youre daies, that ye lyue many daies on the face of erthe, in which ye goen in pilgrymage.

und kein Haus bauen, keinen Samen säen, keinen Weinberg pflanzen noch haben, sondern sollet in Hütten wohnen euer Leben lang, auf daß ihr lange lebet im Lande, darin ihr wallet.

8 Therfor we obeieden to the vois of Jonadab, oure fadir, the sone of Recab, in alle thingis whiche he comaundide to vs; so that we drunken not wyn in alle oure dayes, we, and oure wymmen, oure sones, and douytris;

Also gehorchen wir der Stimme unsers Vaters Jonadab, des Sohns Rechabs, in allem, das er uns geboten hat, daß wir keinen Wein trinken unser Leben lang, weder wir noch unsere Weiber noch Söhne noch Töchter,

9 and we bildiden not housis to dwelle, and we hadden not a vyner, and a feeld, and seed;

und bauen auch keine Häuser, darin wir wohneten, und haben weder Weinberge noch Äcker noch Samen,

10 but we dwelliden in tabernaclis, and weren obeiynge, and diden bi alle thingis, whiche Jonadab, oure fadir, comaundide to vs.

sondern wohnen in Hütten und gehorchen und tun alles, wie unser Vater Jonadab geboten hat.

11 But whanne Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, hadde stied to this lond, we seiden, Come ye, and entre we in to Jerusalem, fro the face of the oost of Caldeis, and fro the face of the oost of Sirie; and we dwelliden in Jerusalem.

Als aber Nebukadnezar der König zu Babel, herauf ins Land zog, sprachen wir: Kommt, laßt uns gen Jerusalem ziehen vor dem Heer der Chaldäer und Syrer; und sind also zu Jerusalem geblieben.

12 And the word of the Lord was maad to Jeremye,

Da geschah des HERRN Wort zu Jeremia und sprach:

13 and seide, The Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, Go thou, and seie to the men of Juda, and to the dwelleris of Jerusalem, Whether ye schulen not take techyng, that ye obeie to my wordis, seith the Lord?

So spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Gehe hin und sprich zu denen in Juda und zu den Bürgern zu Jerusalem: Wollt ihr euch denn nicht bessern, daß ihr meinen Worten gehorchet? spricht der HERR.

14 The wordis of Jonadab, sone of Rechab, hadden the maistrie, whiche he comaundide to hise sones, that thei schulden not drynke wyn; and thei drynken not, `til to this dai; for thei obeieden to the comaundement of her fadir; but Y spak to you, and Y roos ful eerli, and spake, and ye obeieden not to me.

Die Worte Jonadabs, des Sohns Rechabs, die er seinen Kindern geboten hat daß sie nicht sollen Wein trinken, werden gehalten; und trinken keinen Wein bis auf diesen Tag, darum daß sie ihres Vaters Gebot gehorchen. Ich aber habe stets euch predigen lassen; doch gehorchet ihr mir nicht.

15 And Y sente to you alle my seruauntis profetis, and Y roos ful eerli, and Y sente, and seide, Be ye conuertid, ech man fro his worste weye, and make ye good youre studies, and nyle ye sue alien goddis, nether worschipe ye hem, and ye schulen dwelle in the lond, which Y yaf to you, and to youre fadris; and ye bowiden not youre eere, nether herden me.

So habe ich auch stets zu euch gesandt alle meine Knechte, die Propheten, und lassen sagen: Bekehret euch, ein jeglicher von seinem bösen Wesen, und bessert euren Wandel und folget nicht andern Göttern nach, ihnen zu dienen, so sollt ihr im Lande bleiben, welches ich euch und euren Vätern gegeben habe. Aber ihr wolltet eure Ohren nicht neigen noch mir gehorchen,

16 Therfor the sones of Jonadab, sone of Recab, maden stidfast the comaundement of her fadir, which he comaundide to hem; but this puple obeiede not to me.

so doch die Kinder Jonadabs, des Sohns Rechabs, haben ihres Vaters Gebot, das er ihnen geboten hat, gehalten. Aber dies Volk gehorchet mir nicht.

17 Therfor the Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal bringe on Juda, and on alle the dwelleris of Jerusalem, al the turment which Y spak ayens hem; for Y spak to hem, and thei herden not; Y clepide hem, and thei answeriden not to me.

Darum so spricht der HERR, der Gott Zebaoth und der Gott Israels: Siehe, ich will über Juda und über alle Bürger zu Jerusalem kommen lassen all das Unglück, das ich wider sie geredet habe, darum daß ich zu ihnen geredet habe, und sie nicht wollen hören, ich habe gerufen, und sie mir nicht wollen antworten.

18 Forsothe Jeremye seide to the hous of Recabitis, The Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, For that that ye obeieden to the comaundement of Jonadab, youre fadir, and kepten alle hise comaundementis, and diden alle thingis, whiche he comaundide to you;

Und zum Hause der Rechabiter sprach Jeremia: So spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Darum daß ihr dem Gebot eures Vaters Jonadab habt gehorchet und alle seine Gebote gehalten und alles getan, was er euch geboten hat,

19 therfor the Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, A man of the generacioun of Jonadab, sone of Recab, schal not faile stondynge in my siyt in alle daies.

darum spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels, also: Es soll dem Jonadab, dem Sohn Rechabs, nimmer fehlen, es soll jemand von den Seinen allezeit vor mir stehen.
