Isaiah 45
1 The Lord seith these thingis to my crist, Cirus, whos riythond Y took, that Y make suget folkis bifor his face, and turne the backis of kyngis; and Y schal opene yatis bifore hym, and yatis schulen not be closid.
Tako govori Gospod svojemu maziljencu Kiru, čigar desnico sem prijel, da bi pred njim podjarmil narode in odpasal bom ledja kraljev, da pred njim odprem dvoje opuščenih velikih vrat in velika vrata ne bodo zaprta:
2 Y schal go bifore thee, and Y schal make lowe the gloriouse men of erthe; Y schal al to-breke brasun yatis, and Y schal breke togidere irun barris.
»Jaz bom šel pred teboj in naredil skrivljene kraje ravne, bronasta velika vrata bom razbil na koščke in železne zapahe presekal na dvoje.
3 And Y schal yyue hid tresours to thee, and the priuy thingis of priuytees, that thou wite, that Y am the Lord, that clepe thi name, God of Israel,
Dal ti bom zaklade teme in skrita bogastva skrivnih krajev, da boš lahko vedel, da sem jaz, Gospod, ki te kličem s tvojim imenom, Izraelov Bog.
4 for my seruaunt Jacob, and Israel my chosun, and Y clepide thee bi thi name; Y licnyde thee, and thou knewist not me.
Zaradi Jakoba, mojega služabnika in Izraela, mojega izvoljenega, sem te celó poklical po tvojem imenu. Imenoval sem te, čeprav me nisi poznal.
5 Y am the Lord, and ther is no more; with out me is no God. Y haue gird thee, and thou knewist not me.
Jaz sem Gospod in nobenega drugega ni, ni Boga poleg mene. Opasal sem te, čeprav me nisi poznal,
6 That thei that ben at the risyng of the sunne, and thei that ben at the west, know, that with out me is no God.
da bi lahko vedeli od sončnega vzhoda in od zahoda, da ni nikogar poleg mene. Jaz sem Gospod in nobenega drugega ni.
7 Y am the Lord, and noon other God is; fourmynge liyt, and makynge derknessis, makynge pees, and fourmynge yuel; Y am the Lord, doynge alle these thingis.
Jaz oblikujem svetlobo in ustvarjam temo, sklepam mir in ustvarjam zlo. Jaz, Gospod, delam vse te stvari.
8 Heuenes, sende ye out deew fro aboue, and cloudis, reyne a iust man; the erthe be openyde, and brynge forth the sauyour, and riytfulnesse be borun togidere; Y the Lord haue maad hym of nouyt.
Kapljajte, ve nebesa od zgoraj in naj nebo izlije pravičnost. Naj se zemlja odpre in naj rodi rešitev duš in naj skupaj požene pravičnost; jaz, Gospod, sem to ustvaril.
9 Wo to hym that ayen seith his maker, a tiel stoon of erthe of Sannys. Whether clei seith to his pottere, What makist thou, and thi werk is withouten hondis?
Gorje tistemu, ki se prepira s svojim Stvarnikom! Naj se črepinja prička s črepinjami zemlje. Mar bo ilo reklo tistemu, ki ga oblikuje: »Kaj delaš?« Ali tvoje delo: »On nima rok?«
10 Wo to hym that seith to the fadir, What gendrist thou? and to a womman, What childist thou?
Gorje tistemu, ki pravi svojemu očetu: »Čemu si zaplodil?« Ali ženski: »Kaj si rodila?«
11 The Lord, the hooli of Israel, the fourmere therof, seith these thingis, Axe ye me thingis to comynge on my sones, and sende ye to me on the werkis of myn hondis.
Tako govori Gospod, Sveti Izraelov in njegov Stvarnik: »Vprašajte me o stvareh, ki pridejo, glede mojih sinov in glede dela mojih rok mi zapovejte.
12 Y made erthe, and Y made a man on it; myn hondis helden abrood heuenes, and Y comaundide to al the knyythod of tho.
Naredil sem zemljo in na njej ustvaril človeka. Jaz, celó moje roke so razprostrle nebo in zapovedal sem vsej njegovi vojski.
13 Y reiside hym to riytfulnesse, and Y schal dresse alle hise weies; he schal bilde my citee, and he schal delyuere my prisoneris, not in prijs, nether in yiftis, seith the Lord of oostis.
Dvignil sem ga v pravičnosti in jaz bom usmerjal vse njegove poti. Zgradil bo moje mesto in izpustil bo moje ujetnike, ne za ceno niti [ne za] nagrado, « govori Gospod nad bojevniki.
14 The Lord God seith these thingis, The trauel of Egipt, and the marchaundie of Ethiopie, and of Sabaym; hiy men schulen go to thee, and schulen be thine; thei schulen go aftir thee, thei schulen go boundun in manyclis, and schulen worschipe thee, and schulen biseche thee. God is oneli in thee, and with out thee is no God.
Tako govori Gospod: »Trud Egipta in trgovanje Etiopije in Sabejcev, postavnih mož, bo prišlo k tebi in oni bodo tvoji. Prišli bodo za teboj, v verigah bodo prišli in padli dol k tebi, ponižno te bodo prosili, rekoč: ›Zagotovo je Bog v tebi in tam ni nikogar drugega, tam ni Boga.‹
15 Verili thou art God hid, God, the sauyour of Israel.
Resnično, ti si Bog, ki samega sebe skrivaš, oh Izraelov Bog, Odrešenik.
16 Alle makeris of errours ben schent, and weren aschamed; thei yeden togidere in to confusioun.
Osramočeni bodo in tudi zbegani, vsi izmed njih. Skupaj bodo šli v zmešnjavo, ki so izdelovalci malikov.
17 Israel is sauyde in the Lord, bi euerlastynge helthe; ye schulen not be schent, and ye schulen not be aschamed, til in to the world of world.
Toda Izrael bo rešen v Gospodu z večno rešitvijo duš. Ne boste osramočeni niti zbegani, od veka do veka.
18 For whi the Lord makynge heuenes of nouyt, seith these thingis; he is God fourmynge erthe, and makinge it, he is the makere therof; he made it of noyt, not in veyn, but he formyde it, that it be enhabitid; Y am the Lord, and noon other is.
Kajti tako govori Gospod, ki je ustvaril nebo; sam Bog, ki je oblikoval zemljo in jo naredil, osnoval jo je, ni je ustvaril zaman, oblikoval jo je, da bi bila naseljena. Jaz sem Gospod in nobenega drugega ni.
19 Y spak not in hid place, not in a derk place of erthe; I seide not to the seed of Jacob, Seke ye me in veyn. Y am the Lord spekynge riytfulnesse, tellynge riytful thingis.
Nisem govoril na skrivnem, na temnem kraju zemlje. Jakobovemu semenu nisem rekel: ›Zaman me iščite.‹ Jaz, Gospod, govorim pravičnost, razglašam stvari, ki so pravilne.
20 Be ye gaderid, and come ye, and neiye ye togidere, that ben sauyd of hethene men; thei that reisen a signe of her grauyng, knewen not, and thei preien a god that saueth not.
Zberite se in pridite, približajte se skupaj, vi, ki ste pobegnili narodom. Nimajo spoznanja, ki postavljajo les svojih rezanih podob in molijo k bogu, ki ne more rešiti.
21 Telle ye, and come ye, and take ye councel togidere. Who made this herd fro the bigynnyng? fro that tyme Y bifor seide it. Whether Y am not the Lord, and no God is ferthere with out me? God riytful and sauynge is noon, outakun me.
Povejte in privedite jih blizu; da, naj se skupaj posvetujejo. Kdo je to razglasil od starodavnega časa? Kdo je to povedal od tistega časa? Mar nisem jaz, Gospod? In nobenega drugega Boga ni poleg mene, pravičnega Boga in Odrešenika, nobenega ni poleg mene.
22 Alle the coostis of erthe, be ye conuertid to me, and ye schulen be saaf; for Y am the Lord, and noon other is.
Poglejte k meni in bodite rešeni, vsi konci zemlje, kajti jaz sem Bog in nobenega drugega ni.
23 Y swoor in my silf, a word of riytfulnesse schal go out of my mouth, and it schal not turne ayen; for ech kne schal be bowid to me, and ech tunge schal swere.
Prisegel sem sam pri sebi, beseda je izšla iz mojih ust v pravičnosti in se ne bo vrnila: ›Da se bo k meni priklonilo vsako koleno, vsak jezik bo prisegel.‹
24 Therfor thei schulen sei in the Lord, Riytfulnessis and empire ben myne; alle that fiyten ayens hym schulen come to hym, and schulen be aschamed.
Zagotovo bo nekdo rekel: ›V Gospodu imam pravičnost in moč.‹ Celó k njemu bodo prišli ljudje in vsi tisti, ki so ogorčeni zoper njega, bodo osramočeni.
25 Al the seed of Israel schal be iustified and preysid in the Lord.
V Gospodu bo vse seme Izraela opravičeno in bo slavilo.
