Genesis 9
1 And God blisside Noe and hise sones, and seide to hem, Encreesse ye, and be ye multiplied, and fille ye the erthe;
१फिर परमेश्वर ने नूह और उसके पुत्रों को आशीष दी और उनसे कहा, “फूलो-फलो और बढ़ो और पृथ्वी में भर जाओ।
2 and youre drede and tremblyng be on alle vnresonable beestis of erthe, and on alle briddis of heuene, with alle thingis that ben moued in erthe; alle fischis of the see ben youun to youre hond.
२तुम्हारा डर और भय पृथ्वी के सब पशुओं, और आकाश के सब पक्षियों, और भूमि पर के सब रेंगनेवाले जन्तुओं, और समुद्र की सब मछलियों पर बना रहेगा वे सब तुम्हारे वश में कर दिए जाते हैं।
3 And al thing which is moued and lyueth schal be to you in to mete; Y have youe to you alle thingis as greene wortis,
३सब चलनेवाले जन्तु तुम्हारा आहार होंगे; जैसे तुम को हरे-हरे छोटे पेड़ दिए थे, वैसे ही तुम्हें सब कुछ देता हूँ।
4 outakun that ye schulen not ete fleisch with blood,
४पर माँस को प्राण समेत अर्थात् लहू समेत तुम न खाना।
5 for Y schal seke the blood of youre lyues of the hoond of alle vnresonable beestis and of the hoond of man, of the hoond of man and of hys brother Y schal seke the lijf of man.
५और निश्चय मैं तुम्हारा लहू अर्थात् प्राण का बदला लूँगा: सब पशुओं, और मनुष्यों, दोनों से मैं उसे लूँगा; मनुष्य के प्राण का बदला मैं एक-एक के भाई-बन्धु से लूँगा।
6 Who euere schedith out mannus blood, his blood schal be sched; for man is maad to the ymage of God.
६जो कोई मनुष्य का लहू बहाएगा उसका लहू मनुष्य ही से बहाया जाएगा क्योंकि परमेश्वर ने मनुष्य को अपने ही स्वरूप के अनुसार बनाया है।
7 Forsothe encreesse ye, and be ye multiplied, and entre ye on erthe, and fille ye it, Also the Lord seide thes thingis to Noe,
७और तुम तो फूलो-फलो और बढ़ो और पृथ्वी पर बहुतायत से सन्तान उत्पन्न करके उसमें भर जाओ।”
8 and to his sones with him, Lo!
८फिर परमेश्वर ने नूह और उसके पुत्रों से कहा,
9 Y schal make my couenaunt with you, and with your seed after you,
९“सुनो, मैं तुम्हारे साथ और तुम्हारे पश्चात् जो तुम्हारा वंश होगा, उसके साथ भी वाचा बाँधता हूँ;
10 and to ech lyuynge soule which is with you, as wel in briddis as in werk beestis and smale beestis of erthe, and to alle thingis that yeden out of the schip, and to alle vnresonable beestis of erthe.
१०और सब जीवित प्राणियों से भी जो तुम्हारे संग हैं, क्या पक्षी क्या घरेलू पशु, क्या पृथ्वी के सब जंगली पशु, पृथ्वी के जितने जीवजन्तु जहाज से निकले हैं।
11 Y schal make my couenaunt with you, and ech fleisch schal no more be slayn of the watris of the greet flood, nethir the greet flood distriynge al erthe schal be more.
११और मैं तुम्हारे साथ अपनी यह वाचा बाँधता हूँ कि सब प्राणी फिर जल-प्रलय से नाश न होंगे और पृथ्वी का नाश करने के लिये फिर जल-प्रलय न होगा।”
12 And God seide, This is the signe of boond of pees, which Y yyue bitwixe me and you, and to ech lyuynge soule which is with you, in to euerlastynge generaciouns.
१२फिर परमेश्वर ने कहा, “जो वाचा मैं तुम्हारे साथ, और जितने जीवित प्राणी तुम्हारे संग हैं उन सब के साथ भी युग-युग की पीढ़ियों के लिये बाँधता हूँ; उसका यह चिन्ह है:
13 Y schal sette my bowe in the cloudis, and it schal be a signe of boond of pees bitwixe me and erthe;
१३कि मैंने बादल में अपना धनुष रखा है, वह मेरे और पृथ्वी के बीच में वाचा का चिन्ह होगा।
14 and whanne Y schal hile heuene with cloudis, my bowe schal appere in the cloudis,
१४और जब मैं पृथ्वी पर बादल फैलाऊं तब बादल में धनुष दिखाई देगा।
15 and Y schal haue mynde of my boond of pees which Y made with you, and with ech soule lyuynge, that nurschith fleisch; and the watris of the greet flood schulen no more be to do awey al fleish.
१५तब मेरी जो वाचा तुम्हारे और सब जीवित शरीरधारी प्राणियों के साथ बंधी है; उसको मैं स्मरण करूँगा, तब ऐसा जल-प्रलय फिर न होगा जिससे सब प्राणियों का विनाश हो।
16 And my bowe schal be in the cloudis, and Y schal se it, and Y schal haue mynde of euerlastynge boond of pees, which is maad bitwixe God and man, and ech soul lyuynge of al fleisch which is on erthe.
१६बादल में जो धनुष होगा मैं उसे देखकर यह सदा की वाचा स्मरण करूँगा, जो परमेश्वर के और पृथ्वी पर के सब जीवित शरीरधारी प्राणियों के बीच बंधी है।”
17 And God seide to Noe, This schal be a signe of boond of pees, which Y made bitwixe me and ech fleisch on erthe.
१७फिर परमेश्वर ने नूह से कहा, “जो वाचा मैंने पृथ्वी भर के सब प्राणियों के साथ बाँधी है, उसका चिन्ह यही है।”
18 Therfore thei that yeden out of the schip weren Noe, Sem, Cham, and Japheth; forsothe Cham, thilke is the fadir of Chanaan.
१८नूह के जो पुत्र जहाज में से निकले, वे शेम, हाम और येपेत थे; और हाम कनान का पिता हुआ।
19 These thre weren the sones of Noe, and al the kynde of men was sowun of hem on al erthe.
१९नूह के तीन पुत्र ये ही हैं, और इनका वंश सारी पृथ्वी पर फैल गया।
20 And Noe, an erthe tiliere, bigan to tile the erthe, and he plauntide a viner,
२०नूह किसानी करने लगा: और उसने दाख की बारी लगाई।
21 and he drank wyn, and was drunkun; and he was nakid, and lay in his tabernacle.
२१और वह दाखमधु पीकर मतवाला हुआ; और अपने तम्बू के भीतर नंगा हो गया।
22 And whanne Cham, the fadir of Chanaan, hadde seien this thing, that is, that the schameful membris of his fadir weren maad nakid, he telde to hise tweye britheren with out forth.
२२तब कनान के पिता हाम ने, अपने पिता को नंगा देखा, और बाहर आकर अपने दोनों भाइयों को बता दिया।
23 And sotheli Sem and Jafeth puttiden a mentil on her schuldris, and thei yeden bacward, and hileden the schameful membris of her fadir, and her faces weren turned awei, and thei sien not the priuy membris of her fadir.
२३तब शेम और येपेत दोनों ने कपड़ा लेकर अपने कंधों पर रखा और पीछे की ओर उलटा चलकर अपने पिता के नंगे तन को ढाँप दिया और वे अपना मुख पीछे किए हुए थे इसलिए उन्होंने अपने पिता को नंगा न देखा।
24 And forsothe Noe wakide of the wyn, and whanne he hadde lerned what thingis his lesse sone hadde do to hym,
२४जब नूह का नशा उतर गया, तब उसने जान लिया कि उसके छोटे पुत्र ने उसके साथ क्या किया है।
25 he seide, Cursid be the child Canaan, he schal be seruaunt of seruauntis to hise britheren.
२५इसलिए उसने कहा, “कनान श्रापित हो: वह अपने भाई-बन्धुओं के दासों का दास हो।”
26 And Noe seide, Blessid be the Lord God of Sem,
२६फिर उसने कहा, “शेम का परमेश्वर यहोवा धन्य है, और कनान शेम का दास हो।
27 and Chanaan be the seruaunt to Sem; God alarge Jafeth, and dwelle in the tabernaclis of Sem, and Chanaan be seruaunt of hym.
२७परमेश्वर येपेत के वंश को फैलाए; और वह शेम के तम्बुओं में बसे, और कनान उसका दास हो।”
28 Forsothe Noe lyuede aftir the greet flood thre hundrid and fifti yeer;
२८जल-प्रलय के पश्चात् नूह साढ़े तीन सौ वर्ष जीवित रहा।
29 and alle the daies of hym weren fillid nyn hundrid and fifty yeer, and he was deed.
२९इस प्रकार नूह की कुल आयु साढ़े नौ सौ वर्ष की हुई; तत्पश्चात् वह मर गया।
