Genesis 7
1 Also the Lord seide to Noe, Entre thou and al thin hous in to the schip, for Y seiy thee iust bifore me in this generacioun.
Chúa Hằng Hữu phán cùng Nô-ê: “Con và cả gia đình hãy vào tàu, vì trong đời này, Ta thấy con là người công chính duy nhất trước mặt Ta.
2 Of alle clene lyuynge beestis thou schalt take bi seuene and bi seuene, male and female; forsothe of vnclene lyuynge beestis thou schalt take bi tweyne and bi tweyne, male and female;
Con cũng đem theo các thú vật tinh sạch, mỗi loài bảy cặp, đực và cái; các thú vật không tinh sạch, mỗi loài một cặp, đực và cái;
3 but also of volatils of heuene thou schalt take, bi seuene and bi seuene, male and female, that her seed be saued on the face of al erthe.
các loài chim trời, mỗi loài bảy cặp, trống và mái, để giữ dòng giống trên mặt đất.
4 For yit and aftir seuene daies Y schal reyne on erthe fourti daies and fourti nyytis, and Y schal do awey al substaunce which Y made, fro the face of erthe.
Bảy ngày nữa, Ta sẽ cho mưa trút xuống mặt đất suốt bốn mươi ngày và bốn mươi đêm. Ta sẽ xóa sạch khỏi mặt đất mọi sinh vật Ta đã sáng tạo.”
5 Therfor Noe dide alle thingis whiche the Lord comaundide to hym.
Nô-ê làm theo mọi điều Chúa Hằng Hữu chỉ dạy.
6 And he was of sixe hundrid yeer, whanne the watris of the greet flood flowiden on erthe.
Nô-ê được 600 tuổi khi nước lụt dâng lên.
7 And Noe entride in to the schip, and hise sones, and hise wijf, and the wyues of his sones, entriden with him for the watris of the greet flood.
Ông vào tàu tránh nước lụt cùng vợ, các con trai, và các con dâu.
8 And of lyuynge beestis clene and vnclene, and of briddis of heuene, and of ech beeste which is moued on erthe,
Các thú vật tinh sạch và không tinh sạch, các loài chim, và loài bò sát, từng cặp, đực và cái, trống và mái.
9 bi tweyne and bi tweyne, male and female entriden to Noe in to the schip, as the Lord comaundide to Noe.
Chúng đều theo Nô-ê vào tàu, như lời Đức Chúa Trời chỉ dạy.
10 And whanne seuene daies hadden passid, the watris of the greet flood flowiden on erthe.
Bảy ngày sau, nước lụt dâng lên phủ mặt đất.
11 In the sixe hundrid yeer of the lijf of Noe, in the secunde moneth, in the seuententhe dai of the moneth, alle the wellis of the greet see weren brokun, and the wyndowis of heuene weren opened,
Vào năm Nô-ê được 600 tuổi, ngày thứ mười bảy tháng Hai, mưa từ trời trút xuống như thác lũ, các mạch nước dưới đất đều vỡ tung.
12 and reyn was maad on erthe fourti daies and fourti nyytis.
Mưa liên tiếp bốn mươi ngày và bốn mươi đêm.
13 In the ende of that dai Noe entride, and Sem, Cham, and Japheth, hise sones, his wijf, and the wyues of hise sones, entriden with hem into the schip.
Ngày ấy, Nô-ê, vợ, ba con trai—Sem, Cham, Gia-phết—và ba con dâu vào tàu.
14 Thei entriden, and ech beeste bi his kynde, and alle werk beestis in her kynde, and ech beeste which is moued on erthe in his kynde, and ech volatil bi his kynde; alle briddis and alle volatils entriden to Noe in to the schip,
Cùng vào tàu với họ có các loài thú rừng, loài gia súc, loài bò sát, và loài chim trời.
15 bi tweyne and bi tweyne of ech fleisch in whiche the spirit of lijf was.
Từng đôi từng cặp đều theo Nô-ê vào tàu, đại diện mỗi loài vật sống có hơi thở.
16 And tho that entriden, entriden male and female of ech fleisch, as God comaundide to hym. And the Lord encloside hym fro with out-forth.
Tất cả các giống đực và cái, trống và mái, như lời Đức Chúa Trời đã phán dạy Nô-ê. Sau đó, Chúa Hằng Hữu đóng cửa tàu lại.
17 And the greet flood was maad fourti daies and fourti niytis on erthe, and the watris weren multiplied, and reiseden the schip on hiy fro erthe.
Suốt bốn mươi ngày, nước lụt ào ạt lan tràn, bao phủ khắp nơi và nâng chiếc tàu khỏi mặt đất.
18 The watris flowiden greetli, and filliden alle thingis in the face of erthe. Forsothe the schip was borun on the watris.
Nước dâng lên cao; chiếc tàu nổi trên mặt nước.
19 And the watris hadden maistrie greetli on erthe, and alle hiye hillis vndur alle heuene weren hilid;
Nước tiếp tục dâng cao hơn nữa; mọi đỉnh núi cao dưới trời đều bị ngập.
20 the watyr was hiyere bi fiftene cubitis ouer the hilis whiche it hilide.
Nước phủ các ngọn núi cao nhất; núi chìm sâu trong nước trên 6,9 mét.
21 And ech fleisch was wastid that was moued on erthe, of briddis, of lyuynge beestis, of vnresonable beestis, and of alle `reptilis that crepen on erthe.
Tất cả các loài sống trên đất đều chết—loài chim trời, loài gia súc, loài thú rừng, loại bò lúc nhúc, và loài người.
22 Alle men, and alle thingis in whiche the brething of lijf was in erthe, weren deed.
Mọi loài có hơi thở, sống trên mặt đất đều chết hết.
23 And God dide awei al substaunce that was on erthe, fro man til to beeste, as wel a crepynge beeste as the briddis of heuene; and tho weren doon awei fro erthe. Forsothe Noe dwellide aloone, and thei that weren with hym in the schip.
Mọi sinh vật trên mặt đất đều bị hủy diệt, từ loài người cho đến loài thú, loài bò sát, và loài chim trời. Tất cả đều bị quét sạch khỏi mặt đất, chỉ còn Nô-ê và gia đình cùng mọi loài ở với ông trong tàu được sống sót.
24 And the watris of the greet flood ouereyeden the erthe an hundrid and fifti daies.
Nước ngập mặt đất suốt 150 ngày.
