Genesis 5
1 This is the book of generacioun of Adam, in the dai wher ynne God made man of nouyt. God made man to the ymage and licnesse of God;
Sa se liv jenerasyon Adan yo. Nan jou ke Bondye te kreye lòm, Li te fè l nan imaj Bondye.
2 God formede hem male and female, and blesside hem, and clepide the name of hem Adam, in the day in which thei weren formed.
Li te kreye yo mal avèk femèl. Li te beni yo, e Li te rele yo Lòm. Sa vle di “Adam” nan jou ke yo te kreye a.
3 Forsothe Adam lyuede an hundrid yeer and thretti, and gendride a sone to his ymage and liknesse, and clepide his name Seth.
Lè Adam te gen tan fin viv san-trant ane, li te vin papa a yon fis ki sanble nèt ak li, nan pwòp imaj pa l. Li te rele li Seth.
4 And the daies of Adam after that he gendride Seth weren maad eiyte hundrid yeer, and he gendride sones and douytris.
Laj a Adam, lè l te fin fè Seth, se te uit-san ane, e li te gen lòt fis ak fi.
5 And al the tyme in which Adam lyuede was maad nyne hundrid yeer and thretti, and he was deed.
Paske tout jou ke Adam te viv yo te nèf-san-trant ane. Konsa, li te vin mouri.
6 Also Seth lyuede an hundrid and fyue yeer, and gendride Enos.
Seth te viv san-senkant ane, e li te vin papa Énosch.
7 And Seth lyuede aftir that he gendride Enos eiyte hundrid and seuen yeer, and gendride sones and douytris.
Alò, Seth te viv uit-san-sèt ane apre li te vin papa Énosch, e li te gen lòt fis ak fi.
8 And alle the daies of Seth weren maad nyne hundrid and twelue yeer, and he was deed.
Paske tout jou a Seth yo te nèf-san-douz ane, e li te vin mouri.
9 Forsothe Enos lyuede nynti yeer, and gendride Caynan;
Énosch te viv katre-ven-dis ane, e li te vin papa a Kénan.
10 aftir whos birthe Enos lyuede eiyte hundrid and fiftene yeer, and gendride sones and douytris.
Epi Énosch te viv uit-san-kenz ane apre li te vin papa a Kénan, e li te fè lòt fis ak lòt fi.
11 And alle the daies of Enos weren maad nyne hundrid and fyue yeer, and he was deed.
Alò, tout jou a Énosch yo te nèf-san-senk ane, e li te vin mouri.
12 Also Caynan lyuyde seuenti yeer, and gendride Malalehel.
Kénan te viv pandan swasann-dis ane, e li te vin papa a Mahalaléel.
13 And Caynan lyuede after that he gendride Malalehel eiyte hundrid and fourti yeer, and gendride sones and douytris.
Epi Kénan te viv uit-san-karant ane lè li te fin fè Mahalaléel, e li te gen lòt fis ak lòt fi.
14 And alle the dayes of Caynan weren maad nyn hundrid and ten yeer, and he was deed.
Alò, tout jou a Kénan yo te nèf-san-dis ane, e li te mouri.
15 Forsothe Malalehel lyuede sixti yeer and fyue, and gendride Jared.
Mahalaléel te viv swasant senk ane, e li te vin papa Jred.
16 And Malalehel lyuede aftir that he gendride Jared eiyte hundrid and thretti yeer, and gendride sones and douytris.
Epi Mahalaléel te viv ui-san-trant ane apre li te vin papa Jred, e li te gen lòt fis ak fi.
17 And alle the daies of Malalehel weren maad eiyte hundrid nynti and fyue yeer, and he was deed.
Alò, tout jou a Mahalaléel yo te ui-san-katre-ven-kenz ane, e li te vin mouri.
18 And Jared lyuede an hundrid and two and sixti yeer, and gendride Enoth.
Jred te viv san-swasann-de ane, e li te vin papa Hénoc.
19 And Jared lyuede aftir that he gendride Enoth eiyte hundrid yeer, and gendride sones and douytris.
Alò, Jred te viv ui-san ane apre li te vin papa Hénoc, e li te gen lòt fis ak lòt fi.
20 And alle the dayes of Jared weren maad nyn hundrid and twei and sexti yeer, and he was deed.
Paske, tout jou a Jred yo te nèf-san-swasann-de ane, e li te vin mouri.
21 Forsothe Enoth lyuede fyue and sixti yeer, and gendride Matusalem.
Hénoc te viv swasann-senk ane, e li te vin papa Methuschélah.
22 And Enoth yede with God; and Enoth lyuede after that he gendride Matusalem thre hundrid yeer, and gendride sones and douytris.
Alò, Hénoc te mache ansanm avèk Bondye pandan twa san ane apre li te vin papa a Methuschélah, e li te gen lòt fis ak fi.
23 And alle the daies of Enoth weren maad thre hundride and fyue and sexti yeer.
Paske tout jou Hénoc yo te twa-san-swasant-senk ane.
24 And Enoth yeed with God, and apperide not afterward, for God took hym awei.
Hénoc te mache avèk Bondye; e li pa t la ankò, paske Bondye te pran l.
25 Also Matusalem lyuede an hundrid and `fourscoor yeer and seuene, and gendride Lameth.
Methuschélah te viv pandan san-katre-ven-sèt ane, e li te vin papa a Lémec.
26 And Matusalem lyuede after that he gendride Lameth seuene hundrid and `fourscoor yeer and twei, and gendride sones and douytris.
Alò Methuschélah te viv sèt san katreven de ane apre li te vin papa a Lémec, e li te gen lòt fis ak fi.
27 And alle the daies of Matusale weren maad nyn hundrid and nyn and sixti yeer, and he was deed.
Jou Methuschélah yo te nèf-san-swasant nèf ane, e li te vin mouri.
28 Forsothe Lameth lyuede an hundrid and `fourscoor yeer and two, and gendride a sone;
Lémec te viv san-katre-ven-de ane, e li te vin papa a yon fis.
29 and clepide his name Noe, and seide, This man schal comforte vs of the werkis and traueilis of oure hondis, in the loond which the Lord curside.
Alò, li te rele non li Noé, e li te di: “Sila a va bannou repo sou travay di nou fè ak men nou ki leve sòti nan tè ke SENYÈ a te modi a.”
30 And Lameth lyuede after that he gendride Noe fyue hundrid `nynti and fyue yeer, and gendride sones and douytris.
Alò, Lémec te viv senk-san-katre-ven-kenz ane apre li te vin fè Noé, e li te gen lòt fis ak fi.
31 And alle the daies of Lameth weren maad seuene hundrid `thre scoor and seuentene yeer, and he was deed.
Paske tout jou a Lémec te sèt-san-swasann-dis-sèt ane, e li te vin mouri.
32 Forsothe Noe whanne he was of fyue hundrid yeer gendride Sem, Cham, and Jafeth.
Noé te gen laj senk-san ane, e li te vin papa a Sem, Cham, ak Japhet.
