Genesis 22
1 And aftir that these thingis weren don, God assaiede Abraham, and seide to hym, Abraham! Abraham! He answerde, Y am present.
यी कुराहरूपछि परमेश्वरले अब्राहामको जाँच गर्नुभयो । उहाँले तिनलाई भन्नुभयो, “ए अब्राहाम!” अब्राहमले भने, “म यहीँ छु ।”
2 God seide to him, Take thi `sone oon gendrid, whom thou louest, Ysaac; and go into the lond of visioun, and offre thou hym there in to brent sacrifice, on oon of the hillis whiche Y schal schewe to thee.
त्यसपछि परमेश्वरले भन्नुभयो, “तैँले माया गर्ने तेरो छोरो इसहाकलाई लिएर मोरीयाहको देशमा जा । त्यहाँको कुनै एक डाँडामा त्यसलाई होमबलि गर्, जुन म तँलाई बताउनेछु ।”
3 Therfor Abraham roos bi niyt, and sadlide his asse, and ledde with hym twey yonge men, and Ysaac his sone; and whanne he hadde hewe trees in to brent sacrifice, he yede to the place which God hadde comaundid to him.
त्यसैले अब्राहाम बिहानै उठेर गधामा काठी कसे, अनि आफ्ना दुई जवान मानिसहरू र आफ्नो छोरो इसहाकलाई साथमा लिए । उनले होमबलिको निम्ति दाउरा चिरे, त्यसपछि परमेश्वरले तिनलाई भन्नुभएको ठाउँतर्फ यात्रा सुरु गरे ।
4 Forsothe in the thridde dai he reiside hise iyen, and seiy a place afer;
तेस्रो दिन अब्राहामले माथि हेरे र टाढा त्यो ठाउँ देखे ।
5 and he seide to hise children, Abide ye here with the asse, Y and the child schulen go thidur; and aftir that we han worschipid, we schulen turne ayen to you.
अब्राहामले आफ्ना जवान मानिसहरूलाई भने, “तिमीहरू गधासँग यहीँ बस, अनि म र यो केटो त्यहाँ जानेछौँ । हामी पूजा गर्नेछौँ र तिमीहरूकहाँ फेरि फर्केर आउनेछौँ ।”
6 And he took the trees of brent sacrifice, and puttide on Ysaac his sone; forsothe he bar fier, and a swerd in hise hondis. And whanne thei tweyne yeden togidere, Isaac seide to his fadir, My fadir!
त्यसपछि अब्राहामले होमबलिको निम्ति दाउरा लिए र आफ्नो छोरो इसहाकलाई बोकाए । उनले आगो र छुरी आफ्नो हातमा लिए अनि ती दुवै जना सँगसँगै गए ।
7 And he answerde, What wolt thou, sone? He seide, Lo! fier and trees, where is the beeste of brent sacrifice?
इसहाकले आफ्ना पिता अब्राहामलाई भने, “बुबा,” अनि तिनले भने, “म यहीँ छु, मेरो छोरा ।” त्यसले भन्यो, “आगो र दाउरा त यहाँ छन्, तर होमबलिको लागि थुमाचाहिँ खोइ?”
8 Abraham seide, My sone, God schal puruey to hym the beeste of brent sacrifice.
अब्राहामले भने, “मेरो छोरा, परमेश्वरले नै होमबलिको निम्ति थुमा जुटाइदिनुहुनेछ ।” अनि ती दुवै सँगसँगै गए ।
9 Therfor thei yeden to gidere, and camen to the place whiche God hadde schewid to hym, in which place Abraham bildide an auter, and dresside trees a boue; and whanne he hadde bounde to gidere Ysaac, his sone, he puttide Ysaac in the auter, on the heep of trees.
परमेश्वरले तिनलाई भन्नुभएको ठाउँमा पुगेपछि अब्राहामले त्यहाँ एउटा वेदी बनाएर दाउरा राखे । त्यसपछि तिनले आफ्नो छोरो इसहाकलाई बाँधेर वेदीमा दाउरामाथि राखे ।
10 And he helde forth his hond, and took the swerd to sacrifice his sone.
अब्राहामले आफ्नो छोरालाई मार्न छुरी उठाए ।
11 And lo! an aungel of the Lord criede fro heuene, and seide, Abraham! Abraham!
त्यसपछि परमप्रभुका एक जना दूतले स्वर्गबाट तिनलाई भने, “ए अब्राहाम, अब्राहाम!” तिनले भने, “म यहीँ छु ।”
12 Which answerde, I am present. And the aungel seide to hym, Holde thou not forth thin honde on the child, nether do thou ony thing to him; now Y haue knowe that thou dredist God, and sparidist not thin oon gendrid sone for me.
उनले भने, “तेरो हात त्यस केटामाथि नउठा, न त त्यसलाई केही गर, आफ्नो एक मात्र छोरालाई पनि मबाट तैंले रोकेर राखिनस् भन्ने देखेर तैँले परमेश्वरको भय मान्दोरहेछस् भनी मैले अब थाहा पाएँ
13 Abraham reiside hise iyen, and he seiy `bihynde his bak a ram cleuynge bi hornes among breris, which he took, and offride brent sacrifice for the sone.
।” अब्राहामले माथितिर हेरे र एउटा भेडा झाडीमा सीङ अल्झेर फसेको देखे । अब्राहामले गएर त्यस भेडालाई ल्याए, र तिनका छोराको सट्टामा त्यसैलाई होमबलि चढाए ।
14 And he clepide the name of that place, The Lord seeth; wherfore it is seyd, til to dai, The Lord schal see in the hil.
यसकारण अब्राहामले त्यस ठाउँको नाउँ “परमप्रभुले जुटाउनुहुन्छ” राखे, र “परमप्रभुको डाँडामा जुटाइनेछ” भनी आजसम्म पनि भनिन्छ ।
15 Forsothe the aungel of the Lord clepide Abraham the secounde tyme fro heuene,
परमप्रभुका दूतले दोस्रो पल्ट स्वर्गबाट अब्राहामलाई बोलाएर भने,
16 and seide, The Lord seith, Y haue swore bi my silf, for thou hast do this thing, and hast not sparid thin oon gendrid for me,
यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, “मैले आफ्नै नाउँमा शपथ खाएको छु, कि तैंले यो काम गरेकोले र तेरो छोरो, अर्थात् तेरो एउटै छोरालाई पनि मबाट नरोकेकोले
17 Y schal blesse thee, and Y schal multiplie thi seed as the sterris of heuene, and as grauel which is in the brynk of the see; thi seed schal gete the yatis of hise enemyes;
म निश्चय नै तँलाई आशिष् दिनेछु र म तेरा सन्तानको वृद्धि गरेर आकाशका तारा र समुद्र किनारका बालुवासरह तुल्याउनेछु । तेरा सन्तानले आफ्ना शत्रुहरूका ढोकाहरू पार गर्नेछन् ।
18 and alle the folkis of erthe schulen be blessid in thi seed, for thou obeiedist to my vois.
तेरा सन्तानद्वारा पृथ्वीका सबै जातिहरू आशिषित्् हुनेछन्, किनकि तैंले मेरो वचन पालन गरिस् ।”
19 Abraham turnede ayen to hise children, and thei yeden to Bersabee to gidere, and he dwellide there.
त्यसैले अब्राहाम आफ्ना जवान मानिसहरूकहाँ फर्केर आए, र तिनीहरू बेर्शेबासम्म सँगसँगै गए, अनि उनी बेर्शेबामा बसोबास गरे ।
20 And so whanne these thingis weren don, it was teld to Abraham that also Melcha hadde bore sones to Nachor his brother;
यी कुराहरू भएको केही समयपछि “मिल्काले पनि तपाईंका भाइ नाहोरबाट छोराहरू जन्माइन्” भन्ने कुरा अब्राहामले सुने ।
21 Hus the firste gendrid, and Buz his brothir, and Chamuhel the fadir of Sireis,
तिनीहरू जेठो ऊज, त्यसको भाइ बूज, र आरामका पिता कमूएल,
22 and Cased, and Asan, and Feldas,
र केसेद, हजो, पिलदाश, यिदलाप र बतूएल थिए ।
23 and Jedlaf, and Batuhel, of whom Rebecca was borun; Melcha childide these eiyte to Nachor brother of Abraham.
बतूएल रिबेकाका पिता भए । अब्राहामका भाइ नाहोरबाट मिल्काले जन्माएका आठ छोराहररू यी नै थिए ।
24 Forsothe his concubyn, Roma bi name, childide Thabee, and Gaon, and Thaas, and Maacha.
यीबाहेक रूमा नाउँ भएकी तिनकी भित्रिनीले पनि तेबह, गहम, तहस र माकालाई जन्माई ।
