Ezekiel 12
1 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
Et la parole du Seigneur me fut adressée, disant:
2 and he seide, Sone of man, thou dwellist in the myddis of an hous terrynge to wraththe, which han iyen to se, and seen not, and eeris to here, and heren not; for it is an hous terrynge to wraththe.
Fils d’un homme, tu habites au milieu d’une maison qui m’exaspère; ils ont des yeux pour voir, et ils ne voient pas; et des oreilles pour entendre, et ils n’entendent pas: parce que c’est une maison qui m’exaspère.
3 Therfor thou, sone of man, make to thee vessels of passing ouer, and thou schalt passe ouer bi dai bifor hem; forsothe thou schalt passe ouer fro thi place to another place, in the siyt of hem, if perauenture thei biholden, for it is an hous terrynge to wraththe.
Toi donc, fils d’un homme, fais-toi des meubles de transmigration, et tu émigreras pendant le jour devant eux, mais tu passeras de ton lieu à un autre lieu en leur présence, pour voir si par hasard ils regarderont; parce que c’est une maison qui m’exaspère.
4 And thou schalt bere withoutforth thi vessels, as the vessels of a man passynge ouer bi dai, in the siyt of hem; sotheli thou schalt go out in the euentid bifore hem, as a man passynge forth goith out.
Et tu emporteras au dehors tes meubles comme les meubles d’un émigrant, pendant le jour en leur présence; mais toi, tu sortiras le soir devant eux, comme sort un émigrant.
5 Bifore the iyen of hem digge the wal to thee, and thou
Devant leurs yeux perce-toi la muraille, et tu sortiras par cette ouverture.
6 schalt go out thorouy it in the siyt of hem. Thou schalt be borun on schuldris, thou schalt be borun out in derknesse; thou schalt hile thi face, and thou schalt not se the erthe, for Y haue youe thee a signe
En leur présence tu seras porté sur les épaules, tu seras emporté dans l’obscurité; tu voileras ta face, et tu ne verras pas la terre, parce que je t’ai établi signe pour la maison d’Israël.
7 of thing to comynge to the hous of Israel. Therfor Y dide as the Lord comaundide to me; Y brouyte forth my vessels, as the vessels of a man passynge ouer bi dai, and in the euentid Y diggide a wal to me with hond; Y yede out in derknesse, and Y was borun on schuldris,
Je fis donc comme le Seigneur m’avait ordonné; je transportai mes meubles comme les meubles d’un émigrant pendant le jour; et le soir je me perçai la muraille de ma main, et je sortis dans l’obscurité, porté sur les épaules en leur présence.
8 in the siyt of hem. And the word of the Lord was maad eerli to me,
Et la parole du Seigneur me fut adressée le matin, disant:
9 and he seide, Sone of man, whether the hous of Israel, the hous terrynge to wraththe, seiden not to thee, What doist thou?
Fils d’un homme, est-ce que la maison d’Israël, maison qui m’exaspère, ne t’a pas dit: Que fais-tu?
10 Seie thou to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis, This birthun is on the duyk, which is in Jerusalem, and on al the hous of Israel, which is in the myddis of hem.
Dis-leur: Voici ce que dit le Seigneur Dieu: Ce malheur accablant tombera sur le chef qui est dans Jérusalem, et sur toute la maison d’Israël, qui est au milieu d’eux.
11 Seie thou, Y am youre signe of thing to comynge; as Y dide, so it schal be don to hem; thei schulen go in to passynge ouer, and in to caitifte.
Dis: Moi je suis votre signe; comme j’ai fait, ainsi il leur sera fait; ils iront en transmigration et en captivité.
12 And the duyk which is in the myddis of hem, schal be borun out on schuldris, and he schal go out in derknesse; thei schulen digge the wal, and lede hym out; his face schal be hilid, that he se not with iye the erthe.
Ce chef qui est au milieu d’eux sera porté sur les épaules; il sortira dans l’obscurité; ils perceront la muraille pour le faire sortir de la ville, sa face sera couverte, afin qu’il ne voie pas de l’œil la terre.
13 And Y schal stretche forth my net on hym, and he schal be takun in my net; and Y schal lede hym in to Babiloyne, in to the lond of Caldeis, and he schal not se that lond, and he schal die there.
Et j’étendrai mon rets sur lui, et il sera pris dans ma seine; et je l’emmènerai à Babylone dans la terre des Chaldéens; et il ne la verra pas, et il y mourra.
14 And Y schal scatere in to ech wynd alle men that ben aboute hym, his help, and hise cumpenyes; and Y schal draw out the swerd aftir hem.
Et tous ceux qui sont autour de lui, sa garde, ses bataillons, je les disperserai à tout vent, et je tirerai le glaive après eux.
15 And thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord, whanne Y schal scatere hem among hethene men, and schal sowe hem abrood in londis.
Et ils sauront que je suis le Seigneur, quand je les aurai dispersés parmi les nations, et que je les aurai disséminés dans les divers pays,
16 And Y schal leue of hem a fewe men fro swerd, and hungur, and pestilence, that thei telle out alle the grete trespassis of hem among hethene men, to which thei schulen entre; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
Et je laisserai un petit nombre d’entre eux échapper au glaive, à la famine et à la peste, afin qu’ils racontent tous leurs crimes parmi les nations chez lesquelles ils entreront; et ils sauront que je suis le Seigneur.
17 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
Et la parole du Seigneur me fut adressée, disant:
18 and he seide, Thou, sone of man, ete thi breed in disturblyng, but also drynke thi water in haaste and mourening.
Fils d’un homme, mange ton pain dans le trouble; et ton eau, bois-la aussi à la hâte et dans la tristesse.
19 And thou schalt seie to the puple of the lond, The Lord God seith these thingis to hem that dwellen in Jerusalem, in the lond of Israel, Thei schulen ete her breed in angwisch, and thei schulen drynke her watir in desolacioun; that the lond be desolat of his multitude, for the wickidnesse of alle men that dwellen ther ynne.
Et tu diras au peuple du pays: Voici ce que dit le Seigneur Dieu à ceux qui habitent dans Jérusalem, dans la terre d’Israël: Ils mangeront leur pain dans l’inquiétude; leur eau, ils la boiront dans la désolation, afin que cette terre soit dépouillée de sa multitude d’habitants, à cause de l’iniquité de tous ceux qui habitent en elle.
20 And citees that ben now enhabitid, shulen be desolat, and the lond schal be forsakun; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
Et les cités qui sont maintenant habitées seront désolées, et la terre déserte; et vous saurez que je suis le Seigneur.
21 And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
Et la parole du Seigneur me fut adressée, disant:
22 and he seide, Sone of man, what is this prouerbe to you, of men seiynge in the lond of Israel, Daies schulen be differrid in to long tyme, and ech visioun shal perische?
Fils d’un homme, quel est ce proverbe qui court parmi vous dans la terre d’Israël,’proverbe de gens disant: Pour longtemps seront différés les jours, et toute vision s’évanouira?
23 Therfor seie thou to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis, Y schal make this prouerbe to ceesse, and it schal no more be seid comynli in Israel; and speke thou to hem, that the daies han neiyid, and ech word of profesie.
Pour cela, dis-leur: Voici ce que dit le Seigneur Dieu: Je ferai cesser ce proverbe, et on ne le dira plus publiquement dans Israël; et dis-leur que les jours sont proches, ainsi que la réalisation de toute vision.
24 For whi ech visioun schal no more be voide, nether bifor tellyng of thing to comynge schal be douteful in the myddis of the sones of Israel;
Car aucune vision ne sera plus vaine, ni aucune divination ambiguë, au milieu des enfants d’Israël.
25 for Y the Lord schal speke what euer word Y schal speke, and it schal be don; it schal no more be delaied, but in youre daies, ye hous terrynge to wraththe, Y schal speke a word, and Y schal do that word, seith the Lord God.
Parce que moi le Seigneur je parlerai; et toute parole que j’aurai dite s’accomplira et ne sera pas différée davantage; mais durant vos jours, maison qui m’exaspères, je dirai une parole et je l’exécuterai, dit le Seigneur Dieu.
26 And the word of the Lord was maad to me, and he seide, Thou,
Et la parole du Seigneur me fut adressée, disant:
27 sone of man, lo! the hous of Israel, of hem that seien, The visioun which this man seeth, is in to manye daies, and this man profesieth in to longe tymes.
Fils d’un homme, voilà la maison d’Israël disant: La vision que celui-ci voit n’aura son effet que dans bien des jours, et c’est pour des temps éloignés qu’il prophétise.
28 Therfor seie thou to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis, Ech word of me schal no more be deferrid; the word which Y schal speke, schal be fillid, seith the Lord God.
À cause de cela dis-leur: Voici ce que dit le Seigneur Dieu: Aucune de mes paroles ne sera plus différée; la parole que j’aurai dite s’accomplira, dit le Seigneur Dieu.
