Exodus 17
1 Therfor al the multitude of the sones of Israel yede forth fro the deseert of Syn, bi her dwellyngis, bi the word of the Lord, and settiden tentis in Rafidym, where was not watir to the puple to drynke.
At ang buong kapisanan ng mga anak ni Israel ay naglakbay mula sa ilang ng Sin, sa kanilang paglalakbay ayon sa utos ng Panginoon, at humantong sa Rephidim: at walang tubig na mainom ang bayan.
2 Whiche puple chidde ayens Moises, and seide, Yyue thou water to vs, that we drynke. To whiche Moises answeride, What chiden ye ayens me, and whi tempten ye the Lord?
Kaya't ang bayan ay nakipagtalo kay Moises, at nagsabi, Bigyan mo kami ng tubig na aming mainom. At sinabi ni Moises sa kanila, Bakit kayo nakikipagtalo sa akin? bakit ninyo tinutukso ang Panginoon?
3 Therfor the puple thristide there for the scarsnesse of watir, and grutchiden ayens Moises, and seide, Whi madist thou vs to go out of Egipt, to sle vs, and oure fre children, and beestis, for thrist?
At ang bayan ay nauhaw at inupasala ng bayan si Moises, at sinabi, Bakit mo kami isinampa rito mula sa Egipto, upang patayin mo kami sa uhaw, at ang aming mga anak, at ang aming kawan?
4 Forsothe Moises criede to the Lord, and seide, What schal Y do to this puple? yit a litil, also it schal stone me.
At si Moises ay dumaing sa Panginoon, na nagsasabi, Anong aking gagawin sa bayang ito? kulang na lamang batuhin nila ako.
5 The Lord seide to Moises, Go thou bifore the puple, and take with thee of the eldre men of Israel, and take in thin hond the yerde, `bi which thou hast smyte the flood, and go; lo!
At sinabi ng Panginoon kay Moises, Dumaan ka sa harap ng bayan, at ipagsama mo ang mga matanda sa Israel; at ang iyong tungkod na iyong ipinalo sa ilog, ay tangnan mo sa iyong kamay, at yumaon ka.
6 Y schal stonde there before thee, aboue the stoon of Oreb, and thou schalt smyte the stoon, and water schal go out therof, that the puple drynke. Moises dide so byfore the eldere men of Israel;
Narito, ako'y tatayo sa harap mo roon sa ibabaw ng bato sa Horeb; at iyong papaluin ang bato, at lalabasan ng tubig, upang ang bayan ay makainom. At gayon ginawa ni Moises sa paningin ng mga matanda sa Israel.
7 and he clepide the name of that place Temptacioun, for the chidyng of the sones of Israel, and for thei temptiden the Lord, and seiden, Whether the Lord is in vs, ether nay?
At tinawag nila ang pangalan ng dakong yaon, na Massah at Meribah, dahil sa pakikipagtalo ng mga anak ni Israel, at dahil sa kanilang tinukso ang Panginoon, na kanilang sinasabi, Ang Panginoon ba'y nasa gitna natin o wala?
8 Forsothe Amalech cam, and fauyt ayens Israel in Rafidym.
Nang magkagayo'y dumating si Amalec, at nakipaglaban sa Israel sa Rephidim.
9 And Moises seide to Josue, Chese thou men, and go out, and fiyte to morewe ayens men of Amalech; lo! Y schal stonde in the cop of the hil, and Y schal haue `the yerde of God in myn hond.
At sinabi ni Moises kay Josue, Ipili mo tayo ng mga lalake, at ikaw ay lumabas, lumaban ka kay Amalec; bukas ay tatayo ako sa taluktok ng burol, na aking tangan ang tungkod ng Dios sa aking kamay.
10 Josue dide as Moises spak, and fauyt ayens Amalech. Forsothe Moises, and Aaron, and Hur stieden on the cop of the hil;
Gayon ginawa ni Josue, gaya ng sinabi ni Moises sa kaniya, at lumaban kay Amalec: at si Moises, si Aaron at si Hur ay sumampa sa taluktok ng burol.
11 and whanne Moises reiside the hondis, Israel ouercam; forsothe if he let down a litil, Amalech ouercam.
At nangyari, pagka itinataas ni Moises ang kaniyang kamay, ay nananaig ang Israel: at pagka kaniyang ibinababa ang kaniyang kamay, ay nananaig si Amalec.
12 Sotheli `the hondis of Moises weren heuy, therfor thei token a stoon, and puttide vndir hym, in which stoon he sat. Forsothe Aaron and Hur susteyneden hise hondis, on euer eithir side; and it was don, that hise hondis weren not maad weri, til to the goyng down of the sunne.
Datapuwa't ang mga kamay ni Moises ay nangalay; at sila'y kumuha ng isang bato, at inilagay sa ibaba, at kaniyang inupuan; at inalalayan ni Aaron at ni Hur ang kaniyang mga kamay, ang isa'y sa isang dako, at ang isa'y sa kabilang dako; at ang kaniyang mga kamay ay nalagi sa itaas hanggang sa paglubog ng araw.
13 And Josue droof a wey Amalech and his puple, in `the mouth of swerd, that is, bi the scharpnesse of the swerd.
At nilito ni Josue si Amalec, at ang kaniyang bayan, sa pamamagitan ng talim ng tabak.
14 Forsothe the Lord seide to Moises, Wryte thou this in a book, for mynde, and take in the eeris of Josue; for Y schal do a wei the mynde of Amalech fro vndur heuene.
At sinabi ng Panginoon kay Moises, Isulat mo ito na pinakaalaala sa isang aklat, at ipagbigay alam mo kay Josue na aking ipalilimot ang pagalaala kay Amalec sa silong ng langit.
15 And Moises bildide an auter, and clepide the name therof The Lord myn enhaunsere,
At nagtayo si Moises ng isang dambana, at pinanganlang Jehovanissi.
16 and seide, For the hond of the Lord aloone, and the bateil of God schal be ayens Amalech, fro generacioun in to generacioun.
At kaniyang sinabi, Isinumpa ng Panginoon: ang Panginoon ay makikipagdigma kay Amalec sa buong panahon ng lahi nito.
