2 Kings 22
1 Josias was of eiyte yeer, whanne he bigan to regne, and he regnyde oon and thritti yeer in Jerusalem; the name of his modir was Ydida, the douytir of Phadaia of Besechath.
Si Josias may walo ka tuig ang panuigon sa pagsugod niya paghari; ug siya naghari ug katloan ug usa ka tuig sa Jerusalem: ug ang ngalan sa iyang inahan mao si Idida ang anak nga babaye ni Adaia sa Boscath.
2 And he dide that, that was plesaunt bifor the Lord, and he yede be alle the wayes of Dauid, his fadir; he bowide not, nethir to the riytside, nethir of the leftside.
Ug gibuhat niya ang matarung sa mga mata ni Jehova, ug naglakat sa tanang dalan ni David nga iyang amahan, ug wala motipas ngadto sa kamot nga too kun sa wala.
3 Forsothe in the eiytenthe yeer of kyng Josias, the kyng sente Saphan, sone of Asua, the sone of Mesulam, scryueyn, ethir doctour, of the temple of the Lord,
Ug nahitabo sa ikanapulo ug walo ka tuig ni hari Josias, nga gipaadto sa hari si Saphan, ang anak nga lalake ni Azalia, anak nga lalake ni Mesullam, ang escriba, ngadto sa balay ni Jehova, nga nagaingon:
4 and seide to him, Go thou to Elchie, the grete preest, that the money, which is borun in to the temple of the Lord, be spendid, which money the porteris of the temple han gaderid of the puple;
Sumaka ka ngadto kang Hilcias, ang labawng sacerdote, aron iyang isipon ang salapi nga gidala ngadto sa balay ni Jehova, nga natigum sa mga magbalantay nga nagbantay sa bakanan gikan sa katawohan:
5 and that it be youun to crafti men bi the souereyns of the hows of the Lord; which also departide that money to hem that worchen in the temple of the Lord, to reparele the rooues of the temple of the Lord,
Ug kini gipahatag nila sa kamot sa mamumuo nga nagabantay sa balay ni Jehova; ug gipahatag kanila kini sa mamumuo nga anaa sa balay ni Jehova, aron sa pag-ayo sa mga nangatumpag sa balay,
6 that is, to carpenteris, and to masouns, and to hem that maken brokun thingis, and that trees and stoonus of quarieris be bouyt, to reparele the temple of the Lord;
Ngadto sa mga panday ug sa mga magtutukod, ug sa mga magtitiltil sa bato, ug aron ipapalit sa tabla, ug sa mga tiniltilan nga bato, aron sa pag-ayo sa balay ni Jehova.
7 netheles siluer, which thei taken, be not rekynyd to hem, but haue thei in power, and in feith.
Apan wala lamang ipha nila ang salapi nga gihatag sa ilang kamot; kay sila mga matinumanon man.
8 Forsothe Helchie, the bischop, seide to Saphan, the scryuen, Y haue founde the book of the lawe in the hows of the Lord. And Elchie yaf the book to Saphan, the scryuen, which also redde it.
Ug si Hilcias ang labawng sacerdote miingon kang Saphan, nga escriba: Nakaplagan ko ang basahon sa Kasugoan sa balay ni Jehova. Ug gihatag ni Hilcias ang basahon kang Saphan, ug iyang gibasa kini.
9 Also Saphan, the scryuen, cam to the kyng, and telde to hym tho thingis, whiche Elchie hadde comaundid, and he seide, Thi seruauntis han spendid the monei, which was foundun in the hows of the Lord, and yauen, that it schulde be departid to crafti men of the souereyns of werkis of the temple of the Lord.
Ug si Saphan nga escriba miadto sa hari, ug gisuginlan pag-usab ang hari, ug miingon: Gikuha sa imong mga alagad ang salapi nga nakita didto sa balay, ug gihatag sa kamot sa mamumuo nga nagabantay sa balay ni Jehova.
10 Also Saphan, the scriueyn, telde to the kyng, and seide, Helchie, the preest of God, yaf to me a book; and whanne Saphan hadde red that book bifor the kyng,
Ug si Saphan nga escriba nagsugilon sa hari, nga nagaingon: Si Hilcias nga sacerdote naghatag kanako ug usa ka basahon. Ug kini gibasa ni Saphan sa atubangan sa hari.
11 and the kyng hadde herd the wordis of the book of the lawe of the Lord, he to-rente hise clothis.
Ug nahitabo, sa nakadungog ang hari sa mga pulong sa basahon sa Kasugoan, iyang gigisi ang iyang mga saput.
12 And he comaundide to Elchie, the preest, and to Aicham, sone of Saphan, and to Achabor, sone of Mycha, and to Saphan, the scryuen, and to Achia, seruaunt of the kyng,
Ug ang hari nagsugo kang Hilcias nga sacerdote, ug kang Ahicam ang anak nga lalake ni Saphan, ug kang Achbor ang anak nga lalake ni Michaia, ug kang Saphan nga escriba, ug kang Isaias ang alagad sa hari, sa pag-ingon:
13 and seide, Go ye, and `counsele ye the Lord on me, and on the puple, and on al Juda, of the wordis of this book, which is foundun; for greet ire of the Lord is kyndlid ayens vs, for oure fadris herden not the wordis of this book, to do al thing which is writun to vs.
Lakaw kamo, pangutana kang Jehova alang kanako, ug alang sa katawohan, ug alang sa tibook nga Juda, mahitungod sa mga pulong niining basahona nga hingkaplagan; kay daku ang kaligutgut ni Jehova nga misilaub batok kanato, tungod kay ang atong mga amahan wala mamati sa mga pulong niining basahona sa pagbuhat sa tanang nahisulat mahitungod kanato.
14 Therfor Helchie, the preest, and Aicham, and Achabor, and Saphan, and Asia, yeden to Olda, the prophetesse, the wijf of Sellum, sone of Thecue, sone of Aras, kepere of the clothis, which Olda dwellide in Jerusalem, in the secounde dwellyng; and thei spaken to hir.
Busa si Hilcias nga sacerdote, ug si Ahicam, ug Achbor, ug si Saphan, ug si Isaias, ming-adto kang Hulda ang manalagna nga babaye, ang asawa ni Sallum nga anak nga lalake ni Ticva, ang anak nga lalake ni Karkas, ang magbalantay sa mga bisti, (karon siya nagpuyo sa Jerusalem sa ikaduha ka bahin sa ciudad); ug sila nakigsulti kaniya.
15 And sche answeride to hem, The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, Seie ye to the man,
Ug siya miingon kanila: Kini mao ang gipamulong ni Jehova, ang Dios sa Israel: Suginlan ninyo ang tawo nga nagpadala kaninyo dinhi kanako,
16 that sente you to me, The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal brynge yuelis on this place, and on the dwelleris therof, alle the wordis `of the lawe, whiche the kyng of Juda redde;
Kini mao ang giingon ni Jehova: Ania karon, magadala ako sa kadautan niining dapita, ug sa mga pumoluyo diha, sumala sa tanan nga mga pulong sa basahon nga nabasa sa hari sa Juda.
17 for thei forsoken me, and maden sacrifice to alien goddis, and terriden me to ire in alle the werkis of her hondis; and myn indignacioun schal be kyndlid in this place, and schal not be quenchid.
Tungod kay ilang gibiyaan ako, ug nagsunog ug incienso alang sa laing mga dios, aron sila makahagit kanako sa kasuko uban sa tanang buhat sa ilang mga kamot, busa ang akong kaligutgut pasilaubon batok niining dapita, ug kini dili mapalong.
18 Sotheli to the kyng of Juda, that sente you, that ye schulen `counsele the Lord, ye schulen seie thus, The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, For thou herdist the wordis of the book,
Apan alang sa hari sa Juda, nga nagsugo kaninyo sa pagpangutana kang Jehova, kini mao ang inyong igasulti kaniya: Kini mao ang gipamulong ni Jehova, ang Dios sa Israel, mahitungod sa mga pulong nga imong nadungog,
19 and thin herte was aferd, and thou were maad meke bifor the Lord, whanne the wordis weren herd ayens this place and ayens the dwelleris therof, that is, that thei schulden be maad in to wondryng, and in to cursyng, and thou to-rentist thi clothis, and weptist bifor me, and Y herde, seith the Lord;
Tungod kay ang imong kasingkasing malumo, ug ikaw nagmapaubsanon sa atubangan ni Jehova, sa pagkadungog mo sa akong gipamulong batok niining dapita, ug batok sa mga nagapuyo diha, nga sila unta mahimong kamingawan ug usa ka tinunglo, ug gigisi mo ang imong mga bisti, ug naghilak sa akong atubangan; ako usab namati kanimo, namulong si Jehova.
20 herfor Y schal gadere thee to thi fadris, and thou schalt be gaderid to thi sepulcre in pees; that thin iyen se not alle the yuelis, whiche Y schal brynge yn on this place.
Busa, ania karon, tigumon ko kamo ngadto sa inyong mga amahan, ug ikaw pagatigumon ngadto sa imong lubnganan sa kalinaw, dili makakita ang imong mga mata sa tanang kadaut nga akong pagadad-on niining dapita. Ug ilang gisuginlan pag-usab ang hari.
