2 Kings 19
1 And whanne kyng Ezechie hadde herd these thingis, he to-rente his clothis, and was hilid with a sak; and he entride in to the hous of the Lord.
Nígbà tí ọba Hesekiah gbọ́ èyí, ó fa aṣọ rẹ̀ ya ó sì wọ aṣọ ọ̀fọ̀ ó sì lọ sí àgọ́ Olúwa
2 And he sente Eliachym, souereyn of the hous, and Sobna, scryueyn, and elde men of the preestis, hilid with sackis, to Ysaie, the prophete, sone of Amos.
Ó sì rán Eliakimu olùtọ́jú ààfin, Ṣebna akọ̀wé àti olórí àlùfáà gbogbo wọn sì wọ aṣọ ọ̀fọ̀, sí ọ̀dọ̀ wòlíì Isaiah ọmọ Amosi.
3 Whiche seiden, Ezechie seith these thingis, This dai is a dai of tribulacioun, and of blamyng, and of blasfemye; sones camen `til to the childberyng, and the `traueler of childe hath not strengthis.
Wọ́n sì sọ fún ún pé, “Èyí ni ohun tí Hesekiah sọ: ọjọ́ òní yí jẹ́ ọjọ́ ìpọ́njú àti ìbáwí àti ẹ̀gàn, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìgbà tí ọmọdé wá sí ojú ìbímọ tí kò sì sí agbára láti fi bí wọn.
4 If perauenture thi Lord God here alle the wordis of Rabsaces, whom the kyng of Assiryens, his lord sente, that he schulde dispise the Lord lyuynge, and repreue bi wordis, whiche thi Lord God herde; and make thou preier for these relikis, that ben foundun.
Ó lè jẹ́ wí pé Olúwa Ọlọ́run yóò gbọ́ gbogbo ọ̀rọ̀ olùdarí pápá, ẹni tí ọ̀gá rẹ̀, ọba Asiria, ti rán láti fi Ọlọ́run alààyè ṣẹ̀sín, yóò sì bá a wí fún ọ̀rọ̀ ti Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ ti gbọ́. Nítorí náà gbàdúrà fún ìyókù àwọn tí ó wà láààyè.”
5 Therfor the seruauntis of kyng Ezechie camen to Isaie;
Nígbà tí ìránṣẹ́ ọba Hesekiah lọ sí ọ̀dọ̀ Isaiah,
6 and Isaie seide to hem, Seie ye these thingis to youre lord, The Lord seith these thingis, Nyle thou drede of the face of wordis whiche thou herdist, bi whiche the children of the kyng of Assiriens blasfemeden me.
Isaiah wí fún wọn pé, “Sọ fún ọ̀gá rẹ, ‘Èyí ni ohun tí Olúwa sọ pé: Ẹ má ṣe bẹ̀rù ohun tí ẹ̀yin ti gbọ́—àwọn ọ̀rọ̀ ìhàlẹ̀ pẹ̀lú èyí ti ọba Asiria ti sọ̀rọ̀-òdì sí mi.
7 Lo! Y schal sende to hym a spirit, and he schal here a messanger, and he schal turne ayen in to his lond; and Y schal caste hym doun bi swerd in his owne lond.
Gbọ́! Èmi yóò rán ẹ̀mí kan sínú rẹ̀ nígbà tí ó bá sì gbọ́ ariwo, yóò sì padà sí ìlú rẹ̀, níbẹ̀ ni èmi yóò sì gbé gé e lulẹ̀ pẹ̀lú idà.’”
8 Therfor Rabsaces turnede ayen, and foond the kyng of Assiriens fiytynge ayens Lobna; for he hadde herd, that the kyng hadde go awei fro Lachis.
Nígbà tí olùdarí pápá gbọ́ wí pé ọba Asiria ti kúrò ní Lakiṣi ó sì padà ó sì rí ọba níbi ti ó gbé ń bá Libina jà.
9 And whanne he hadde herd of Theracha, kyng of Ethiope, `men seyynge, Lo! he yede out, that he fiyte ayens thee; that he schulde go ayens `that kyng, he sente messangeris to Ezechie,
Nísinsin yìí, Sennakeribu sì gbọ́ ìròyìn wí pé Tirakah, ọba Etiopia ti Ejibiti wá ó sì ń yan jáde lọ láti lọ bá a jagun. Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ó sì tún rán oníṣẹ́ sí Hesekiah pẹ̀lú ọ̀rọ̀ yìí pé,
10 and seide, Seie ye these thingis to Ezechie, kyng of Juda, Thi Lord God, in whom thou hast trist, disseyue not thee, nether seie thou, Jerusalem schal not be `bitakun in to the hondis of the kyng of Assiriens;
“Sọ fún Hesekiah ọba Juda pé, má ṣe jẹ́ kí òrìṣà tí ìwọ gbẹ́kẹ̀lé kí ó tàn ó jẹ nígbà tí ó wí pé, ‘Jerusalẹmu a kò ní fi lé ọwọ́ ọba Asiria.’
11 for thou thi silf herdist what thingis the kyngis of Assiriens diden in alle londis, hou thei wastiden tho; whether therfor thou aloone maist be delyuered?
Lóòótọ́ ìwọ ti gbọ́ gbogbo ohun tí ọba Asiria tí ó ṣe sí gbogbo àwọn ìlú, ó pa wọ́n run pátápátá. Ìwọ yóò sì gbàlà?
12 Whether the goddis of hethene men delyueriden alle men whiche my fadris distrieden, that is, Gozam, and Aran, and Reseph, and the sones of Eden, that weren in Thelassar?
Ṣé àwọn òrìṣà orílẹ̀-èdè tí a ti parun láti ọ̀dọ̀ àwọn baba ńlá mi gbà wọ́n là: òrìṣà Gosani, Harani Reṣefu àti gbogbo ènìyàn Edeni tí wọ́n wà ní Teli-Assari?
13 Where is the kyng of Emath, and the kyng of Arphat? and the kyng of the cytee of Sepharuaym, of Ana, and of Aua?
Níbo ni ọba Hamati wa, ọba Arpadi, ọba ìlú Sefarfaimi, ti Hena, tàbí ti Iffa gbé wà?”
14 Therfor whanne Ezechie hadde take the lettris fro the hond of messangeris, and hadde red tho, he stiede in to the hows of the Lord, and spredde abrood tho bifor the Lord;
Hesekiah gba lẹ́tà láti ọ̀dọ̀ ìránṣẹ́ ó sì kà á. Nígbà náà ó sì lọ sí òkè ilé tí a kọ́ fún Olúwa ó sì tẹ́ ẹ síwájú Olúwa.
15 and preiede in his siyt, and seide, Lord God of Israel, that sittist on cherubym, thou art God aloone of alle kyngis of erthe; thou madist heuene and erthe.
Hesekiah gbàdúrà sí Olúwa: “Olúwa Ọlọ́run Israẹli, tí ń gbé ní àárín àwọn kérúbù, ìwọ nìkan ni Ọlọ́run lórí gbogbo ìjọba tí ó wà láyé, ìwọ ti dá ọ̀run àti ayé.
16 Bowe thin eere, and here; opyn thin iyen, Lord, and se; and here alle the wordis of Senacherib, which sente, that he schulde dispise `to vs `God lyuynge.
Dẹtí sílẹ̀, Olúwa kí o sì gbọ́; la ojú rẹ, Olúwa, kí o sì rí i, gbọ́ ọ̀rọ̀ Sennakeribu tí ó rán láti fi bú Ọlọ́run alààyè.
17 Verili, Lord, the kynges of Assiriens distrieden hethene men, and the londis of alle men,
“Òtítọ́ ni, Olúwa, wí pé ọba Asiria ti pa orílẹ̀-èdè wọ̀nyí run àti ilẹ̀ wọn.
18 and senten the goddis of hem in to fier; for thei weren not goddis, but werkis of `hondis of men, of tre and stoon; and thei losten `tho goddis.
Wọ́n ti ju òrìṣà wọn sínú iná wọn sì ti bà wọ́n jẹ́, nítorí pé wọn kì í ṣe ọlọ́run. Ṣùgbọ́n, wọ́n jẹ́ igi àti òkúta tí a ṣe lọ́ṣọ̀ọ́ pẹ̀lú ọwọ́ ènìyàn.
19 Now therfor, oure Lord God, make vs saaf fro the hond of hem, that alle rewmes of erthe wite that thou art the Lord God aloone.
Nísinsin yìí Olúwa Ọlọ́run wa, gbà wá kúrò lọ́wọ́ rẹ̀, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni gbogbo àwọn ìjọba lórí ilẹ̀ ayé le mọ̀ pé ìwọ nìkan ṣoṣo ni, Olúwa Ọlọ́run wa.”
20 Forsothe Isaie, sone of Amos, sente to Ezechie, and seide, The Lord God of Israel seith these thingis, Y haue herd tho thingis, whiche thou preidist me on Sennacherib, king of Assiriens.
Nígbà náà Isaiah ọmọ Amosi rán oníṣẹ́ sí Hesekiah pé, “Èyí ni ohun tí Olúwa Ọlọ́run Israẹli sọ: Mo ti gbọ́ àdúrà rẹ nípa ti Sennakeribu ọba Asiria.
21 This is the word, which the Lord spak of hym, Thou virgyn douytir of Syon, he dispiside thee, and scornyde thee; thou douyter of Jerusalem, he mouyde his heed aftir thi bak.
Èyí ni ọ̀rọ̀ tí Olúwa ti sọ nípa rẹ̀, “‘Wúńdíá ọmọbìnrin Sioni kẹ́gàn rẹ ó sì fi ọ́ ṣe ẹlẹ́yà. Ọmọbìnrin Jerusalẹmu mi orí sí ọ gẹ́gẹ́ bí o ti sálọ.
22 Sennacherib, whom `dispisidist thou, and whom `blasfemedist thou? Ayens whom hast thou reisid thi vois, and hast reisid thin iyen an hiye? Ayens the hooli of Israel.
Ta ni ìwọ ti bú tí o sì kẹ́gàn rẹ̀? Lórí ta ni ìwọ ti gbé ohùn rẹ sókè tí ó sì gbé ojú sókè sí ọ ní ìgbéraga? Lórí ẹni mímọ́ ti Israẹli!
23 Bi the hond of thi seruauntis thou dispisidist the Lord, and seidist, In the multitude of my charys Y stiede in to the hiye thingis of hillis, in the hiynesse of Liban, and kittide doun the hiye cedris therof, and the chosyn beechis therof; and Y entride `til to the termes therof,
Nípa àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ ìwọ ti sọ̀rọ̀ búburú sí Olúwa. Tì wọ sì wí pé, “Pẹ̀lú ọ̀pọ̀ kẹ̀kẹ́ mi ni èmi sì fi dé orí àwọn òkè ńlá, sí ibi gíga jùlọ Lebanoni. Èmi a sì ké igi kedari gíga rẹ̀ lulẹ̀, àti ààyò igi firi rẹ̀. Èmi a sì lọ sí orí òkè ìbùwọ̀ rẹ̀ sínú ibi tí ó dára jù nínú igbó rẹ̀.
24 and Y kittide doun the forest of Carmele therof; and Y drank alien watris, and Y made drie with the steppis of `the feet of myn `alle watris closid.
Mo ti gbẹ́ kànga ní ilẹ̀ àjèjì, mo sì mu omi níbẹ̀. Pẹ̀lú àtẹ́lẹsẹ̀ mi, èmi ti gbẹ́ gbogbo omi odò tí ó wà ní Ejibiti.”
25 Whether thou herdist not, what Y made at the bigynnyng? Fro elde daies Y made it, and now Y haue brouyt forth; and strengthid citees of fiyteris schulen be in to fallyng of hillis.
“‘Ṣé ìwọ kò tí ì gbọ́? Ní ọjọ́ pípẹ́ sẹ́yìn mo yàn án. Ní ọjọ́ ogbó ni mo ṣètò rẹ̀; nísinsin yìí mo ti mú wá sí ìkọjá pé ìwọ ti yí ìlú olódi padà dí òkìtì àlàpà òkúta.
26 And thei that sitten meke of hond in tho, trembliden togidere, and ben schent; thei ben maad as the hei of the feeld, and as grene eerbe of roouys, which is dried, bifor that it cam to ripenesse.
Àwọn ènìyàn wọn ń gbẹ nípa, wọ́n ti dà á láàmú wọ́n sì ti ṣọ́ di ìtìjú. Wọ́n dàbí koríko igbó lórí pápá, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọkà tí ó rẹ̀ dànù kí ó tó dàgbàsókè, gẹ́gẹ́ bí fífún ọkà tí ó hù jáde.
27 And Y bifor knew thi dwellyng, and thi goyng out, and thin entryng, and thi weie, and thi woodnesse ayens me.
“‘Ṣùgbọ́n èmi mọ ibi tí ìwọ dúró àti ìgbà tí ìwọ bá dé tàbí lọ àti bí ìwọ ṣe ìkáàánú rẹ: sí mi.
28 Thou were wood ayens me, and thi pride stide in to myn eeris; therfor Y schal putte a cercle in thi nosethirlis, and a bernacle in thi lippis, and Y schal lede thee ayen in to the weie bi which thou camest.
Ṣùgbọ́n ìkáàánú rẹ sí mi àti ìrora rẹ dé etí mi, Èmi yóò gbé ìwọ̀ mi sí imú rẹ àti ìjánu mi sí ẹnu rẹ, èmi yóò mú ọ padà nípa wíwá rẹ.’
29 Forsothe, Ezechie, this schal be a signe `to thee; ete thou in this yeer that, that thou fyndist; forsothe in the secounde yeer tho thingis, that growen bi her owne wille; sotheli in the thridde yeer sowe ye, and repe ye, plaunte ye vyneris, and ete the fruytis of tho.
“Èyí yóò jẹ́ àmì fún ọ, ìwọ Hesekiah: “Ọdún yìí ìwọ yóò jẹ ohun tí ó bá hù fún rara rẹ̀, àti ní ọdún kejì ohun tí ó bá hù jáde láti inú ìyẹn. Ṣùgbọ́n ní ọdún kẹta, gbìn kí o sì kórè, gbin ọgbà àjàrà kí o sì jẹ èso rẹ̀.
30 And what euer thing schal be residue of the hows of Juda, it schal sende root dounward, and schal make fruyt vpward.
Lẹ́ẹ̀kan sí i ìyókù ti ilé Juda yóò sì tún hu gbòǹgbò lábẹ́, yóò sì so èso lókè.
31 For relikis schulen go out of Jerusalem, and that, that schal be sauyd, `schal go out of the hil of Syon; the feruent loue of the Lord of oostis schal do this.
Láti inú Jerusalẹmu ní àwọn ìyókù yóò ti wá àti láti orí òkè Sioni ni ọ̀pọ̀ àwọn tí ó sá àsálà. Ìtara Olúwa àwọn ọmọ-ogun yóò ṣe èyí.
32 Wherfor the Lord seith these thingis of the kyng of Assiriens, He schal not entre in to this citee, nethir he schal sende an arowe in to it, nether scheeld shal occupie it, nether strengthing, ethir bisegyng, schal cumpasse it.
“Nítorí èyí ni ohun tí Olúwa sọ nípa ti ọba Asiria: “Kò ní wọ ìlú yìí tàbí ta ọfà síbí. Kò ní wá níwájú rẹ pẹ̀lú àpáta tàbí kó ìdọ̀tí àgbò sí ọ̀kánkán rẹ.
33 He schal turne ayen bi the weie `bi which he cam, and he schal not entre in to this citee, seith the Lord;
Nípa ọ̀nà tí ó gbà wá ni yóò padà; kì yóò wọ ìlú ńlá yìí, ni Olúwa wí.
34 and Y schal defende this citee, and Y schal saue it for me, and for Dauid, my seruaunt.
Èmi yóò dá ààbò bo ìlú ńlá yìí, èmi yóò sì pa á mọ́ fún èmi tìkára mi àti fún Dafidi ìránṣẹ́ mi.”
35 Therfor it was don, in that niyt the aungel of the Lord cam, and smoot in the castels of Assiryens an hundrid foure score and fyue thousynde. And whanne Sennacherib hadde rise eerli, he siy alle bodies of deed men; and he departide, and yede awei.
Ní alẹ́ ọjọ́ náà, angẹli Olúwa jáde lọ ó sì pa ọ̀kẹ́ mẹ́sàn-án lé ẹgbẹ̀ẹ́dọ́gbọ̀n ènìyàn ní ibùdó àwọn ará Asiria. Nígbà tí wọ́n sì dìde dúró ní òwúrọ̀ ọjọ́ kejì níbẹ̀ ni gbogbo òkú wà!
36 And Sennacherib, the kyng of Assiriens, turnede ayen, and dwellide in Nynyue.
Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni Sennakeribu ọba Asiria wọ àgọ́ ó sì padà, ó sì padà sí Ninefe ó sì dúró níbẹ̀.
37 And whanne he worschipide in the temple Nestrach his god, Adramelech and Sirasar, his sones, killide hym with swerd; and thei fledden in to the lond of Armenyes; and Asaradon, his sone, regnyde for hym.
Ní ọjọ́ kan, nígbà tí ó sùn nínú ilé òrìṣà Nisroki, ọmọkùnrin rẹ̀ Adrameleki àti Ṣareseri gé e lulẹ̀ pẹ̀lú idà, wọ́n sì sálọ sí ilẹ̀ Ararati Esarhadoni ọmọkùnrin rẹ̀ sì jẹ ọba ní ipò rẹ̀.
