2 Kings 10
1 Forsothe seuenti sones in Samarie weren to Achab. Therfor Hieu wroot lettris, and sente in to Samarie to the beste men of the citee, and to the gretter men in birthe, and to alle the nurschis of Achab, and seide,
१अहाब के सत्तर बेटे, पोते, सामरिया में रहते थे। अतः येहू ने सामरिया में उन पुरनियों के पास, और जो यिज्रेल के हाकिम थे, और जो अहाब के लड़कों के पालनेवाले थे, उनके पास पत्रों को लिखकर भेजा,
2 Anoon as ye han take these lettris, ye that han the sones of youre lord, and the charis, and horsis, and stronge citees, and armeris,
२“तुम्हारे स्वामी के बेटे, पोते तो तुम्हारे पास रहते हैं, और तुम्हारे रथ, और घोड़े भी हैं, और तुम्हारे एक गढ़वाला नगर, और हथियार भी हैं; तो इस पत्र के हाथ लगते ही,
3 chese the beste, and hym that plesith to you of the sones of youre lord, and sette ye him on the trone of his fadir, and fiyte ye for the hows of youre lord.
३अपने स्वामी के बेटों में से जो सबसे अच्छा और योग्य हो, उसको छांटकर, उसके पिता की गद्दी पर बैठाओ, और अपने स्वामी के घराने के लिये लड़ो।”
4 And thei dredden greetli, and seiden, Lo! twei kyngis myyten not stonde bifor hym, and how schulen we mowe ayenstonde hym?
४परन्तु वे बहुत डर गए, और कहने लगे, “उसके सामने दो राजा भी ठहर न सके, फिर हम कहाँ ठहर सकेंगे?”
5 Therfor the souereyns of the hows, and the prefect of the citee, and the grettere men in birthe, and the nurchis senten to Hieu, and seiden, We ben thi seruauntis; what euer thingis thou comaundist, we schulen do, and we schulen not make a kyng to vs; do thou what euer thing plesith thee.
५तब जो राजघराने के काम पर था, और जो नगर के ऊपर था, उन्होंने और पुरनियों और लड़कों के पालनेवालों ने येहू के पास यह कहला भेजा, “हम तेरे दास हैं, जो कुछ तू हम से कहे, उसे हम करेंगे; हम किसी को राजा न बनाएँगे, जो तुझे भाए वही कर।”
6 Forsothe he wroot ayen to hem lettris the secunde tyme, and seide, If ye ben myne, and obeien to me, take ye the heedis of the sones of youre lord, and come ye to me in this same our to morewe in to Jezrael. Sotheli the sones of the kyng, seuenti men, weren nurschid at the beste men of the citee.
६तब उसने दूसरा पत्र लिखकर उनके पास भेजा, “यदि तुम मेरी ओर के हो और मेरी मानो, तो अपने स्वामी के बेटों-पोतों के सिर कटवाकर कल इसी समय तक मेरे पास यिज्रेल में हाजिर होना।” राजपुत्र तो जो सत्तर मनुष्य थे, वे उस नगर के रईसों के पास पलते थे।
7 And whanne the lettris hadden come to hem, thei token the sones of the kyng, and killiden seuenti men, and puttiden the heedis of hem in coffyns; and senten to hym in to Jezrael.
७यह पत्र उनके हाथ लगते ही, उन्होंने उन सत्तरों राजपुत्रों को पकड़कर मार डाला, और उनके सिर टोकरियों में रखकर यिज्रेल को उसके पास भेज दिए।
8 Forsothe a messanger cam to hym, and schewide to hym, and seide, Thei han brouyt the heedis of the sones of the king. Which answeride, Putte ye tho heedis to tweyne hepis, bisidis the entring of the yate, til the morewtid.
८जब एक दूत ने उसके पास जाकर बता दिया, “राजकुमारों के सिर आ गए हैं।” तब उसने कहा, “उन्हें फाटक में दो ढेर करके सवेरे तक रखो।”
9 And whanne it was cleer dai, he yede out, and stood, and seide to al the puple, Ye ben iust men; if Y conspiride ayens my lord, and killide hym, who killide alle these?
९सवेरे उसने बाहर जा खड़े होकर सब लोगों से कहा, “तुम तो निर्दोष हो, मैंने अपने स्वामी से राजद्रोह की युक्ति करके उसे घात किया, परन्तु इन सभी को किसने मार डाला?
10 Therfor se ye now, that noon of the wordis of the Lord felde doun in to the erthe, whiche the Lord spak on the hows of Achab; and the Lord hath do that, that he spak in the hond of his seruaunt, Elie.
१०अब जान लो कि जो वचन यहोवा ने अपने दास एलिय्याह के द्वारा कहा था, उसे उसने पूरा किया है; जो वचन यहोवा ने अहाब के घराने के विषय कहा, उसमें से एक भी बात बिना पूरी हुए न रहेगी।”
11 Therfor Hieu smoot alle that weren residue of the hows of Achab in Jezrael, and alle the beste men of hym, and knowun men, and preestis, til no relikis of hym leften.
११तब अहाब के घराने के जितने लोग यिज्रेल में रह गए, उन सभी को और उसके जितने प्रधान पुरुष और मित्र और याजक थे, उन सभी को येहू ने मार डाला, यहाँ तक कि उसने किसी को जीवित न छोड़ा।
12 And he roos, and cam in to Samarie; and whanne he hadde come to the chaumbir of schepherdis in the weie,
१२तब वह वहाँ से चलकर सामरिया को गया। और मार्ग में चरवाहों के ऊन कतरने के स्थान पर पहुँचा ही था,
13 he foond the britheren of Ocozie, kyng of Juda; and he seide to hem, Who ben ye? And thei answeriden, We ben the britheren of Ocozie, and we comen doun to grete the sones of the kyng and the sones of the queen.
१३कि यहूदा के राजा अहज्याह के भाई येहू से मिले और जब उसने पूछा, “तुम कौन हो?” तब उन्होंने उत्तर दिया, “हम अहज्याह के भाई हैं, और राजपुत्रों और राजमाता के बेटों का कुशल क्षेम पूछने को जाते हैं।”
14 Which Hieu seide, Take ye hem quyke. And whanne thei hadden take hem quyke, thei strangliden hem in the cisterne, bisidis the chaumbre, two and fourti men; and he lefte not ony of hem.
१४तब उसने कहा, “इन्हें जीवित पकड़ो।” अतः उन्होंने उनको जो बयालीस पुरुष थे, जीवित पकड़ा, और ऊन कतरने के स्थान की बावली पर मार डाला, उसने उनमें से किसी को न छोड़ा।
15 And whanne he hadde go fro thennus, he foond Jonadab, the sone of Rechab, in to meetyng of hym; and he blesside hym. And Hieu seide to hym, Whether thin herte is riytful with myn herte, as myn herte is with thin herte? And Jonadab seide, It is. Hieu seide, If `it is, yyue thin hond. Which yaf his hond to hym; and he reiside hym to hym silf in to the chare.
१५जब वह वहाँ से चला, तब रेकाब का पुत्र यहोनादाब सामने से आता हुआ उसको मिला। उसका कुशल उसने पूछकर कहा, “मेरा मन तो तेरे प्रति निष्कपट है, क्या तेरा मन भी वैसा ही है?” यहोनादाब ने कहा, “हाँ, ऐसा ही है।” फिर उसने कहा, “ऐसा हो, तो अपना हाथ मुझे दे।” उसने अपना हाथ उसे दिया, और वह यह कहकर उसे अपने पास रथ पर चढ़ाने लगा,
16 And he seide to hym, Come thou with me, and se my feruent loue for the Lord.
१६“मेरे संग चल और देख, कि मुझे यहोवा के निमित्त कैसी जलन रहती है।” तब वह उसके रथ पर चढ़ा दिया गया।
17 And he ledde hym, put in hys chare, in to Samarie. And he killide alle men that weren residue of Achab in Samarie `til to oon, bi the word of the Lord, which he spak bi Elie.
१७सामरिया को पहुँचकर उसने यहोवा के उस वचन के अनुसार जो उसने एलिय्याह से कहा था, अहाब के जितने सामरिया में बचे रहे, उन सभी को मार के विनाश किया।
18 Therfor Hieu gaderide to gidere alle the puple, and seide to hem, Achab worschipide Baal a litil, but Y schal worschipe hym more.
१८तब येहू ने सब लोगों को इकट्ठा करके कहा, “अहाब ने तो बाल की थोड़ी ही उपासना की थी, अब येहू उसकी उपासना बढ़के करेगा।
19 Now therfor clepe ye to me alle the prophetis of Baal, and alle hise seruauntis, and alle hise preestis; `noon be that come not, for grete sacrifice is of me to Baal; who euer schal faile, he schal not lyue. Forsothe Hieu dide this bi tresoun, that he schulde distrie alle the worschipers of Baal.
१९इसलिए अब बाल के सब नबियों, सब उपासकों और सब याजकों को मेरे पास बुला लाओ, उनमें से कोई भी न रह जाए; क्योंकि बाल के लिये मेरा एक बड़ा यज्ञ होनेवाला है; जो कोई न आए वह जीवित न बचेगा।” येहू ने यह काम कपट करके बाल के सब उपासकों को नाश करने के लिये किया।
20 And he seide, Halewe ye a solempne day to Baal.
२०तब येहू ने कहा, “बाल की एक पवित्र महासभा का प्रचार करो।” और लोगों ने प्रचार किया।
21 And he clepide, and sente in to alle the termes of Israel; and alle the seruauntis of Baal camen, `noon was residue, and sotheli `not oon was that cam not. And thei entriden in to the temple of Baal; and the hows of Baal was fillid, fro oon ende `til to `the tothir.
२१येहू ने सारे इस्राएल में दूत भेजे; तब बाल के सब उपासक आए, यहाँ तक कि ऐसा कोई न रह गया जो न आया हो। वे बाल के भवन में इतने आए, कि वह एक सिरे से दूसरे सिरे तक भर गया।
22 And he seide to hem that weren souereyns ouer the clothis, Bringe ye forth clothis to alle the seruauntis of Baal; and thei brouyten forth clothis to hem.
२२तब उसने उस मनुष्य से जो वस्त्र के घर का अधिकारी था, कहा, “बाल के सब उपासकों के लिये वस्त्र निकाल ले आ।” अतः वह उनके लिये वस्त्र निकाल ले आया।
23 And Hieu entride, and Jonadab, the sone of Rechab, in to the temple of Baal. And Hieu seide to the worschiperis of Baal, Enquere ye, and se, lest perauenture ony of the seruauntis of the Lord be with you; but that the seruauntis be aloone of Baal.
२३तब येहू रेकाब के पुत्र यहोनादाब को संग लेकर बाल के भवन में गया, और बाल के उपासकों से कहा, “ढूँढ़कर देखो, कि यहाँ तुम्हारे संग यहोवा का कोई उपासक तो नहीं है, केवल बाल ही के उपासक हैं।”
24 Therfor thei entriden, to make slayn sacrifices, and brent sacrifices. Sotheli Hieu hadde maad redi to hym with outforth foure scoore men, and hadde seid to hem, Who euer schal fle of alle these, whiche Y schal brynge in to youre hondis, the lijf of hym schal be for the lijf of hym that ascapith.
२४तब वे मेलबलि और होमबलि चढ़ाने को भीतर गए। येहू ने तो अस्सी पुरुष बाहर ठहराकर उनसे कहा था, “यदि उन मनुष्यों में से जिन्हें मैं तुम्हारे हाथ कर दूँ, कोई भी बचने पाए, तो जो उसे जाने देगा उसका प्राण, उसके प्राण के बदले जाएगा।”
25 Forsothe it was don, whanne the brent sacrifice was fillid, Hieu comaundide to hise knyytis and duykis, Entre ye, and sle hem, that noon ascape. And the knyytis and duykis smytiden `hem bi the scharpnesse of swerd, and castiden forth. And `thei yeden into the citee of the temple of Baal,
२५फिर जब होमबलि चढ़ चुका, तब येहू ने पहरुओं और सरदारों से कहा, “भीतर जाकर उन्हें मार डालो; कोई निकलने न पाए।” तब उन्होंने उन्हें तलवार से मारा और पहरुए और सरदार उनको बाहर फेंककर बाल के भवन के नगर को गए।
26 and thei brouyten forth the ymage fro the temple of Baal,
२६और उन्होंने बाल के भवन में की लाठें निकालकर फूँक दीं।
27 and brenten it, and al to braken it. Also thei destrieden the hows of Baal, and maden priuyes for it `til in to this dai.
२७और बाल के स्तम्भ को उन्होंने तोड़ डाला; और बाल के भवन को ढाकर शौचालय बना दिया; और वह आज तक ऐसा ही है।
28 Therfor Hieu dide awei Baal fro Israel;
२८अतः येहू ने बाल को इस्राएल में से नाश करके दूर किया।
29 netheles he yede not awei fro the synnes of Jeroboam, sone of Nabath, that made Israel to do synne, nether he forsook the goldun caluys, that weren in Bethel and in Dan.
२९तो भी नबात के पुत्र यारोबाम, जिसने इस्राएल से पाप कराया था, उसके पापों के अनुसार करने, अर्थात् बेतेल और दान में के सोने के बछड़ों की पूजा, उससे येहू अलग न हुआ।
30 Forsothe the Lord seide to Hieu, For thou didist bisili that that was riytful, and pleside in myn yyen, and hast do ayens the hows of Achab alle thingis that weren in myn herte, thi sones `til to the fourthe generacioun schulen sitte on the trone of Israel.
३०यहोवा ने येहू से कहा, “इसलिए कि तूने वह किया, जो मेरी दृष्टि में ठीक है, और अहाब के घराने से मेरी इच्छा के अनुसार बर्ताव किया है, तेरे परपोते के पुत्र तक तेरी सन्तान इस्राएल की गद्दी पर विराजती रहेगी।”
31 Forsothe Hieu kepte not, that he yede in the lawe of the Lord God of Israel in al his herte; for he yede not awei fro the synnes of Jeroboam, that made Israel to do synne.
३१परन्तु येहू ने इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा की व्यवस्था पर पूर्ण मन से चलने की चौकसी न की, वरन् यारोबाम जिसने इस्राएल से पाप कराया था, उसके पापों के अनुसार करने से वह अलग न हुआ।
32 In tho daies the Lord bigan to be anoyed on Israel; and Asahel smoot hem in alle the coostis of Israel,
३२उन दिनों यहोवा इस्राएल की सीमा को घटाने लगा, इसलिए हजाएल ने इस्राएल के उन सारे देशों में उनको मारा:
33 fro Jordan ayens the eest coost, al the lond of Galaad, and of Gad, and of Ruben, and of Manasses, fro Aroer which is on the stronde of Arnon, and Galaad, and Baasan.
३३यरदन से पूरब की ओर गिलाद का सारा देश, और गादी और रूबेनी और मनश्शेई का देश अर्थात् अरोएर से लेकर जो अर्नोन की तराई के पास है, गिलाद और बाशान तक।
34 Forsothe the residue of wordis of Hieu, and alle thingis whiche he dide, and his strengthe, whether these ben not writun in the book of wordis of daies of the kyngis of Israel?
३४येहू के और सब काम और जो कुछ उसने किया, और उसकी पूर्ण वीरता, यह सब क्या इस्राएल के राजाओं के इतिहास की पुस्तक में नहीं लिखा है?
35 And Hieu slepte with hise fadris; and thei birieden hym in Samarie; and Joachaz, his sone, regnyde for hym.
३५अन्त में येहू मरकर अपने पुरखाओं के संग जा मिला, और सामरिया में उसको मिट्टी दी गई, और उसका पुत्र यहोआहाज उसके स्थान पर राजा बन गया।
36 Forsothe the daies, in whiche Hieu regnede on Israel in Samarie, ben eiyte and twenti yeer.
३६येहू के सामरिया में इस्राएल पर राज्य करने का समय तो अट्ठाईस वर्ष का था।
