2 Chronicles 20
1 Aftir these thingis the sones of Moab, and the sones of Amon, and with hem of Idumeis, weren gaderid togidere to Josaphat, for to fiyte ayens hym.
At nangyari, pagkatapos nito, na ang mga anak ni Moab, at ang mga anak ni Ammon, at pati ng iba sa mga Ammonita, ay naparoon laban kay Josaphat upang makipagbaka.
2 And messangeris camen, and schewiden to Josaphat, seiden, A greet multitude of tho placis that ben biyondis the see, and of Sirie, is comun ayens thee; and, lo! thei stonden in Asasonthamar, which is Engaddi.
Nang magkagayo'y nagsiparoon ang iba na nagsipagsaysay kay Josaphat, na nagsasabi, May lumalabas na isang lubhang karamihan laban sa iyo na mula sa dako roon ng dagat na mula sa Siria; at, narito, sila'y nangasa Hasason-tamar (na siyang Engedi).
3 Forsothe Josaphat was aferd by drede, and `yaf hym silf al for to preye `the Lord, and prechide fastynge to al Juda.
At si Josaphat ay natakot, at tumalagang hanapin ang Panginoon; at siya'y nagtanyag ng ayuno sa buong Juda.
4 And Juda was gaderid togidere for to preye the Lord, but also alle men camen fro her citees for to biseche hym.
At ang Juda'y nagpipisan, upang huminging tulong sa Panginoon: sa makatuwid baga'y mula sa lahat na bayan ng Juda ay nagsiparoon upang hanapin ang Panginoon.
5 And whanne Josaphat hadde stonde in the myddis of the cumpeny of Juda and of Jerusalem, in the hows of the Lord, bifor the newe large place,
At si Josaphat ay tumayo sa kapisanan ng Juda at Jerusalem, sa bahay ng Panginoon, sa harap ng bagong looban;
6 he seide, Lord God of oure fadris, thou art God in heuene, and thou art lord of alle rewmes of folkis; strengthe and power ben in thin hond, `and noon may ayenstonde thee.
At kaniyang sinabi, Oh Panginoon, na Dios ng aming mga magulang, di ba ikaw ay Dios sa langit? at di ba ikaw ay puno sa lahat na kaharian ng mga bansa? at nasa iyong kamay ang kapangyarihan at lakas, na anopa't walang makahaharap sa iyo.
7 Whether not thou, oure God, hast slayn alle the dwelleris of this lond bifor thi puple Israel, and hast youe it to the seed of Abraham, thi freend, withouten ende?
Di mo ba pinalayas, Oh aming Dios, ang mga nananahan sa lupaing ito sa harap ng iyong bayang Israel, at iyong ibinigay sa binhi ni Abraham na iyong kaibigan magpakailan man?
8 And thei dwelliden therynne, and bildiden therinne a seyntuarie to thi name, and seiden,
At nagsitahan sila roon at ipinagtayo ka ng santuario roon na ukol sa iyong pangalan, na sinasabi,
9 If yuelis comen on vs, the swerd of doom, pestilence, and hungur, we schulen stonde bifor this hows withouten ende in thi siyt, in which hows thi name is clepid, and we schulen crie to thee in oure tribulaciouns; and thou schalt here vs, and schalt make vs saaf.
Kung ang kasamaan ay dumating sa amin, ang tabak ng kahatulan, o salot, o kagutom, kami ay magsisitayo sa harap ng bahay na ito, at sa harap mo, (sapagka't ang iyong pangalan ay nasa bahay na ito, ) at kami ay dadaing sa iyo sa aming pagdadalamhati, at kami ay iyong didinggin at ililigtas.
10 Now therfor lo! the sones of Amon and of Moab and the hil of Seir, bi whiche thou grauntidist not to the sones of Israel for to passe, whanne thei yeden out of Egipt, but thei bowiden awei fro hem, and killiden not hem,
At ngayon, narito, ang mga anak ni Ammon at ni Moab, at ng sa bundok ng Seir na hindi mo ipinalusob sa Israel, nang sila'y magsilabas sa lupain ng Egipto, kundi kanilang nilikuan sila, at hindi sila nilipol;
11 thei doon ayenward, and enforsen to caste vs out of the possessioun, which thou, oure God, hast youe to vs;
Tingnan mo, kung paanong sila'y gumaganti sa amin, na nagsisiparito upang palayasin kami sa iyong pag-aari, na iyong ibinigay sa amin upang manahin.
12 therfor whether thou schalt not deme hem? Treuli in vs is not so greet strengthe, that we moun ayenstonde this multitude, that felde yn on vs; but sithen we witen not what we owen to do, we `han oneli this residue, that we dresse oure iyen to thee.
Oh aming Dios, hindi mo ba hahatulan sila? sapagka't wala kaming kaya laban sa malaking pulutong na ito na naparirito laban sa amin, ni hindi man nalalaman namin kung anong marapat gawin; nguni't ang aming mga mata ay nasa iyo.
13 Sotheli al Juda stood bifor the Lord, with her litle children and wyues and fre children.
At ang buong Juda ay tumayo sa harap ng Panginoon, pati ang kanilang mga bata, ang kanilang mga asawa, at ang kanilang mga anak.
14 Forsothe Hiaziel, the sone of Zacarie, sone of Ananye, sone of Hieyel, sone of Machanye, was a dekene, and of the sones of Asaph, on whom the Spirit of the Lord was maad in the myddis of the cumpeny,
Nang magkagayo'y dumating kay Jahaziel na anak ni Zacharias, na anak ni Benaias, na anak ni Jeiel, na anak ni Mathanias na Levita, sa mga anak ni Asaph ang Espiritu ng Panginoon sa gitna ng kapisanan;
15 and he seide, Al Juda, and ye that dwellen in Jerusalem, and thou, king Josaphat, perseyue ye, the Lord seith these thingis to you, Nyle ye drede, nether be ye aferd of this multitude, for it is not youre batel, but Goddis batel.
At kaniyang sinabi, Dinggin ninyo, buong Juda, at ninyong mga taga Jerusalem, at ikaw na haring Josaphat: ganito ang sabi ng Panginoon sa inyo, Huwag kayong mangatakot, o manglupaypay man dahil sa malaking karamihang ito; sapagka't ang pakikipagbaka ay hindi inyo, kundi sa Dios.
16 To morewe ye schulen stie `ayens hem; for thei schulen stie bi the side of the hil, `bi name Seys, and ye schulen fynde hem in the hiynesse of the stronde, which is ayens the wildirnesse of Jheruhel.
Bukas ay magsilusong kayo laban sa kanila: narito, sila'y nagsiahon sa ahunan ng Sis; at inyong masusumpungan sila sa dulo ng libis, sa harap ng ilang ng Jeruel.
17 For it schulen not be ye, that schulen fiyte; but oneli stonde ye trustili, and ye schulen se the help of the Lord on you. A! Juda and Jerusalem, nyle ye drede, nether be ye aferd; to morewe ye schulen go out ayens hem, and the Lord schal be with you.
Kayo'y hindi magkakailangan na makipaglaban sa pagbabakang ito: magsilagay kayo, magsitayo kayong panatag, at tingnan ninyo ang pagliligtas, ng Panginoon na kasama ninyo, Oh Juda at Jerusalem: huwag kayong mangatakot, o manganglupaypay man: bukas ay magsilabas kayo laban sa kanila; sapagka't ang Panginoon ay sumasa inyo.
18 Therfor Josaphat, and Juda, and alle the dwelleris of Jerusalem, felden lowli on the erthe bifor the Lord, and worschypiden hym.
At itinungo ni Josaphat ang kaniyang ulo sa lupa: at ang buong Juda at ang mga taga Jerusalem ay nangagpatirapa sa harap ng Panginoon, na nagsisamba sa Panginoon.
19 Forsothe the dekenes of the sones of Caath, and of the sones of Chore, herieden the Lord God of Israel with greet vois an hiy.
At ang mga Levita, sa mga anak ng mga Coathita at sa mga anak ng mga Coraita; ay nagsitayo upang purihin ang Panginoon, ang Dios ng Israel, ng totoong malakas na tinig.
20 And whanne thei hadden rise eerli, thei yeden not bi the deseert of Thecue; and whanne thei `hadden gon forth, Josaphat stood in the myddis of hem, and seide, Juda and alle the dwelleris of Jerusalem, here ye me; bileue ye in `youre Lord God, and ye schulen be sikur; bileue ye to hise prophetis, and alle prosperitees schulen come.
At sila'y nagsibangong maaga sa kinaumagahan, at nagsilabas sa ilang ng Tecoa: at habang sila'y nagsisilabas, si Josaphat ay tumayo, at nagsabi, Dinggin ninyo ako, Oh Juda, at ninyong mga taga Jerusalem; sumampalataya kayo sa Panginoon ninyong Dios, sa gayo'y matatatag kayo; sumampalataya kayo sa kaniyang mga propeta, sa gayo'y giginhawa kayo.
21 And he yaf counsel to the puple, and he ordeynede the syngeris of the Lord, that thei schulden herye hym in her cumpanyes, and that thei schulden go bifor the oost, and seie with acordynge vois, Knouleche ye to the Lord, for he is good; for his merci is `in to the world.
At nang siya'y makakuhang payo sa bayan, kaniyang inihalal sa kanila ang magsisiawit sa Panginoon at magsisipuri sa ganda ng kabanalan habang sila'y nagsisilabas na nagpapauna sa hukbo at magsipagsabi, Mangagpasalamat kayo sa Panginoon; sapagka't ang kaniyang kaawaan ay magpakailan man.
22 And whanne thei bigunnen to synge heriyngis, the Lord turnede the buyschementis of hem `in to hem silf, that is, of the sones of Amon and of Moab and of the hil of Seir, that yeden out to fiyte ayens Juda; and thei weren slayn.
At nang sila'y mangagpasimulang magsiawit at magsipuri, ang Panginoon ay naglagay ng mga bakay laban sa mga anak ni Ammon, ni Moab, at ng sa bundok ng Seir, na nagsiparoon laban sa Juda; at sila'y nangasugatan.
23 For whi the sones of Amon and of Moab risiden togidere ayens the dwelleris of the hil of Seir, to sle, and to do awey hem; and whanne thei hadden do this in werk, thei weren `turned also `in to hem silf, and felden doun togidere bi woundis ech of othere.
Sapagka't ang mga anak ni Ammon at ni Moab ay nagsitayo laban sa mga taga bundok ng Seir, upang lubos na magsipatay at lipulin sila: at nang sila'y makatapos sa mga taga bundok ng Seir, bawa't isa'y tumulong na lumipol sa iba.
24 Certis whanne Juda was comun to the denne, that biholdith the wildirnesse, he siy afer al the large cuntrei ful of deed bodies, and that noon was left, that miyte ascape deeth.
At nang ang Juda ay dumating sa bantayang moog sa ilang, sila'y nagsitingin sa karamihan; at, narito, mga bangkay na nangakabuwal sa lupa, at walang nakatanan.
25 Therfor Josaphat cam, and al the puple with hym, to drawe awey the spuylis of deed men, and thei founden among the deed bodies dyuerse purtenaunce of houshold, and clothis, and ful preciouse vessels; and thei rauyischiden in dyuerse maneres, so that thei myyten not bere alle thingis, nether thei myyten take awei the spuylis bi thre daies, for the greetnesse of prey.
At nang si Josaphat at ang kaniyang bayan ay magsiparoon upang kunin ang samsam sa kanila, kanilang nasumpungan sa kanila na sagana ay mga kayamanan at mga bangkay, at mga mahahalagang hiyas na kanilang mga sinamsam para sa kanilang sarili, na higit kay sa kanilang madala: at sila'y nagsidoon na tatlong araw, sa pagkuha ng samsam, na totoong marami.
26 Sotheli in the fourthe dai thei weren gaderid togidere in the valey of Blessyng; `forsothe for thei blessiden the Lord there, thei clepiden that place the valei of Blessyng `til in to present dai.
At nang ikaapat na araw, sila'y nagpupulong sa libis ng Baracah; sapagka't doo'y kanilang pinuri ang Panginoon: kaya't ang pangalan ng dakong yaon ay tinawag na Libis ng Baracah, hanggang sa araw na ito.
27 And ech man of Juda turnede ayen, and the dwelleris of Jerusalem, and Josaphat bifor hem, in to Jerusalem with greet gladnesse; for the Lord God hadde youe to hem ioye of her enemyes.
Nang magkagayo'y nagsibalik sila, bawa't lalake sa Juda, at sa Jerusalem, at si Josaphat ay sa unahan nila, upang bumalik sa Jerusalem na may kagalakan; sapagka't sila'y pinapagkatuwa ng Panginoon sa kanilang mga kaaway.
28 And thei entriden in to Jerusalem with sawtrees, and harpis, and trumpis, in to the hows of the Lord.
At sila'y nagsiparoon sa Jerusalem na may mga salterio at mga alpa, at mga pakakak sa bahay ng Panginoon.
29 Forsothe the drede of the Lord felde on alle the rewmes of londis, whanne thei hadden herd, that the Lord hadde fouyte ayens the enemies of Israel.
At ang takot sa Dios ay napasa lahat na kaharian ng mga lupain, nang kanilang mabalitaang ang Panginoon ay nakipaglaban sa mga kaaway ng Israel.
30 And the rewme of Josaphat restide; and the Lord yaf `pees to hym `bi cumpas.
Sa gayo'y ang kaharian ni Josaphat ay natahimik: sapagka't binigyan siya ng kaniyang Dios ng kapahingahan sa palibot.
31 Therfor Josaphat regnede on Juda; and he was of fyue and thritti yeer, whanne he bigan to regne; sotheli he regnede fyue and twenti yeer in Jerusalem; and the name of his modir was Azuba, the douytir of Selathi.
At si Josaphat ay naghari sa Juda: siya'y may tatlong pu't limang taong gulang nang siya'y magpasimulang maghari; at siya'y nagharing dalawang pu't limang taon sa Jerusalem: at ang pangalan ng kaniyang ina ay Azuba na anak ni Silhi.
32 And he yede in the weie of Asa his fadir, and bowide not fro it, and he dide what euer thingis weren plesaunt bifor the Lord.
At siya'y lumakad ng lakad ni Asa na kaniyang ama, at hindi siya lumiko sa paggawa ng matuwid sa harap ng mga mata ng Panginoon.
33 Netheles he dide not awei hiy thingis; yit the puple hadde not dressid her herte to the Lord God of her fadris.
Gayon ma'y ang mga mataas na dako ay hindi inalis; ni inilagak pa man ng bayan ang kanilang puso sa Dios ng kanilang mga magulang.
34 Forsothe the residue of the formere and the laste dedis of Josaphat ben writun in the book of Hieu, the sone of Anany, which he ordeynede in the book of kyngis of Israel.
Ang iba nga sa mga gawa ni Josaphat, na una at huli, narito, nangakasulat sa kasaysayan ni Jehu na anak ni Hanani, na nasusulat sa aklat ng mga hari sa Israel.
35 After these thingis Josaphat, kyng of Juda, made frendschipis with Ocozie, kyng of Israel, whose werkis weren ful yuele;
At pagkatapos nito ay nakipisan si Josaphat na hari sa Juda kay Ochozias na hari sa Israel; na siyang gumawa ng totoong masama:
36 and he was parcener that thei maden schippis, that schulden go in to Tharsis; and thei maden o schip in to Asiongaber.
At siya'y nakipisan sa kaniya upang gumawa ng mga sasakyang dagat na magsisiparoon sa Tharsis: at kanilang ginawa ang mga sasakyan sa Esion-geber.
37 Sotheli Eliezer, sone of Dodan, of Maresa, profesiede to Josaphat, and seide, For thou haddist boond of pees with Ocozie, the Lord smoot thi werkis; and the schippis ben brokun, and myyten not go in to Tharsis.
Nang magkagayo'y si Eliezer na anak ni Dodava sa Mareosah ay nanghula laban kay Josaphat, na kaniyang sinabi, Sapagka't ikaw ay nakipisan kay Ochozias, giniba ng Panginoon ang iyong mga gawa. At ang mga sasakyan ay nangabasag, na anopa't sila'y hindi na makaparoon sa Tharsis.
