< John 21 >

1 After these things Jesus shewed Himself again to the disciples near the sea of Tiberias; and He shewed Himself thus.
Emegbe la, Yesu gaɖe eɖokui fia eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo le Tiberias Ƒu la to.
2 Simon Peter and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together:
Eva dzɔ be, Simɔn Petro, Toma (si wogayɔna be Didymus), Nataniel si tso Kana le Galilea kple Zebedeo ƒe viwo hekpe ɖe nusrɔ̃la eve bubu ŋu wonɔ ƒuta.
3 and Simon Peter saith unto them, I will go a fishing, and they say to him, We will also go with thee. So they went out, and forthwith entered into a ship: and that night they caught nothing.
Simɔn Petro gblɔ be, “Meyina tɔƒo.” Wogblɔ be, “Míayi kpli wò.” Ale woyi ɖage ɖe tɔdziʋu la me, gake womeɖe lã aɖeke le zã ma me o.
4 But when it was morning, Jesus stood on the shore: though the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
Le ŋdi me la, Yesu nɔ tsitre ɖe ƒua ta, gake nusrɔ̃lawo menya be Yesue nye ema o.
5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Young men, have ye any thing to eat?
Yesu yɔ wo be, “Xɔ̃nyewo, mieɖe lã aɖeke oa?” Woɖo eŋu be, “Ao, míeɖe naneke o.”
6 They answered Him, No. And He said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye will find some. So they cast it, and they were not able to draw it up by reason of the multitude of fishes.
Egblɔ na wo be, “Mida miaƒe ɖɔ la ɖe ʋua ƒe nuɖusime lɔƒo, eye miaɖe lã.” Esi woda ɖɔa la, woɖe lã fũu ale gbegbe be womete ŋu he ɖɔ la o.
7 Whereupon that disciple whom Jesus loved, saith to Peter, "It is the Lord." Then Simon Peter perceiving that it was the Lord, girded on his coat, (for he was stript, ) and threw himself into the sea;
Ale nusrɔ̃la si Yesu lɔ̃na vevie la gblɔ na Simɔn Petro be, “Kpɔ ɖa, Aƒetɔ lae!” Esi Petro se nya sia teti ko la, etsɔ eƒe awu do kaba (elabena eɖee), eye wòti kpo dze tɔ la me.
8 and the other disciples came in the boat dragging the net of fishes; for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits.
Nusrɔ̃la mamlɛawo nɔ ʋu la me dze eyome, eye wohe ɖɔ si yɔ fũu kple lã la, elabena gota medidi tso wo gbɔ o; anɔ abe mita alafa ɖeka ko ene.
9 And as soon as they were come to land, they saw a fire laid, and fish upon it, and bread.
Esi woɖi go la, wokpɔ be wodo dzo ɖe afi ma, nɔ lã aɖewo mem, eye abolo hã kpe ɖe eŋu.
10 And Jesus saith unto them, Bring some of the fish, which ye have now caught.
Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “Mitsɔ lã si mieɖe fifia la ƒe ɖe vɛ.”
11 Then Simon Peter went aboard, and drew the net to land, full of large fishes, an hundred fifty-three: and though there were so many, the net was not broken.
Simɔn Petro ge ɖe ʋu la me, eye wòkpe ɖe wo ŋu wohe ɖɔ la va gota. Lã gãwo yɔ ɖɔ la fũu eye esi woxlẽ wo la, wonɔ alafa ɖeka blaatɔ̃-vɔ-etɔ̃ gake ɖɔ la mevuvu o.
12 Jesus saith unto them, Come, and dine. And none of the disciples presumed to ask Him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.
Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “Miva ɖu nu.” Ke wo dometɔ aɖeke mete ŋu biae be, “Ame ka nènye” o. Wonya be Aƒetɔ lae.
13 Jesus therefore cometh and taketh bread, and giveth it to them, and fish likewise.
Yesu va tsɔ abolo la kple lã la na wo.
14 This was the third time that Jesus shewed Himself to a number of his disciples, after He was risen from the dead.
Esia nye zi etɔ̃lia Yesu ɖe eɖokui fia nusrɔ̃lawo esi wòfɔ tso ame kukuwo dome.
15 Now when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon son of Jonas, dost thou love me more than these? He saith unto Him, Yes, Lord, Thou knowest that I love Thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
Esi woɖu nua vɔ la, Yesu bia Simɔn Petro be, “Simɔn, Yohanes ƒe vi, èlɔ̃m wu ame siawoa?” Petro ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Ɛ̃, Aƒetɔ, ènya be melɔ̃ ye.” Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Ekema nyi nye alẽawo.”
16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon son of Jonas, dost thou love me? He saith unto Him, Yes, Lord, Thou knowest that I love Thee.
Yesu gabiae be, “Simɔn, Yohanes ƒe vi, elɔ̃m vavã?” Petro ɖo eŋu be, “Ɛ̃, Aƒetɔ, ènya be melɔ̃ ye.” Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Ekema lé be na nye alẽawo.”
17 He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon son of Jonas, dost thou love me? Peter was grieved, that He said to him the third time, Dost thou love me? And he said unto Him, Lord, Thou knowest all things, Thou knowest that I love Thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
Yesu gabiae zi etɔ̃lia be, “Simɔn, Yohanes ƒe vi, èlɔ̃m mahã?” Biabia etɔ̃lia sia ve Petro, elabena Yesu biae zi etɔ̃lia be, “Èlɔ̃m mahã?” Ke Petro ɖo eŋu be, “Aƒetɔ, ènya nu sia nu, eye ènya be melɔ̃ ye.” Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Nyi nye alẽawo.
18 Verily, verily I say unto thee, When thou wast younger, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst about where thou wouldest: but when thou art old, thou shalt stretch out thine hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee where thou wouldest not.
Mele egblɔm na wò le nyateƒe me be, esi nènye ɖekakpui la, wò ŋutɔ èdoa awu hedoa go yia afi si nèlɔ̃ la, gake ne èku amegã la, àkɔ wò abɔwo dzi, eye ame bubu nado awu na wò, eye wòakplɔ wò ayi afi si mèdi be yeayi o la.”
19 This He said, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when He had said this, He saith unto him, Follow me.
Yesu gblɔ nya sia nɛ be wòatsɔ afia ku si ƒomevi ku ge wòala atsɔ aɖe Mawu ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe afia. Emegbe la, Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Dze yonyeme.”
20 And Peter turning about seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved, (and who leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, who is he that will betray Thee?) following them;
Esi Petro trɔ la, ekpɔ nusrɔ̃la si Yesu lɔ̃na la wòkplɔ wo ɖo. (Nusrɔ̃la siae ziɔ ɖe Yesu ŋu le nuɖuƒe la hebiae be, “Aƒetɔ, mía dometɔ kae ade wò asi?”)
21 and upon seeing him, Peter saith to Jesus, Lord, what shall this man do?
Esi Petro kpɔe la, ebia be, “Aƒetɔ, ekema ame sia ya ɖe?”
22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he stay till I come, what is it to thee? Follow thou me.
Yesu ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Ne medi be wòanɔ agbe va se ɖe esime matrɔ ava la, wò nyaea? Wò la dze yonyeme.”
23 This rumor therefore was spread among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: though Jesus did not say that he should not die, but---if I will that he stay till I come, what is that to thee?
Ke nya sia kaka ɖe nɔvia nusrɔ̃la bubuwo dome be nusrɔ̃la sia mele kuku ge o. Ke Yesu megblɔ be mele kuku ge o; ɖeko wògblɔ be, “Ne medi be wòanɔ agbe va se ɖe esime matrɔ ava la, wò nyaea?”
24 This is the disciple that testifieth of these things, and that writeth them: and we know that his testimony is true.
Nusrɔ̃la siae ɖi ɖase tso nu siawo ŋuti. Ekpɔ nu siawo katã teƒe tsitotsito, eye wòŋlɔ wo da ɖi. Eye mí katã míenya be eƒe ɖaseɖiɖi nye nyateƒe.
25 There are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were to be described particularly, I suppose that the whole world could not contain the books that would be written concerning them. Amen.
Yesu wɔ nu bubu geɖewo hã. Ne woaŋlɔ wo dometɔ ɖe sia ɖe da ɖi la, mesusu be xexea me katã gɔ̃ hã melolo agbalẽ siawo nanɔ o.
