< Psalms 108 >
1 A Song. A Psalm by David. My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing and I will make music with my soul.
Dawid dwom. Onyankopɔn, me koma asi pi; mede me kra nyinaa bɛto wʼayeyi nnwom.
2 Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn.
Munnyan, sanku ne bɛnta! Menyan anɔpahema.
3 I will give thanks to you, LORD, amongst the nations. I will sing praises to you amongst the peoples.
Awurade, mɛkamfo wo wɔ aman mu; mɛto wo ho nnwom wɔ nnipa no mu.
4 For your loving kindness is great above the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Wʼadɔe so, ɛkorɔn sen ɔsoro; wo nokwaredi du wim.
5 Be exalted, God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth.
Onyankopɔn, ɛsɛ sɛ wɔma wo so tra ɔsoro, na ama wʼanuonyam aba asase nyinaa so.
6 That your beloved may be delivered, save with your right hand, and answer us.
Fa wo nsa nifa gye yɛn na boa yɛn, na ama wɔn a wodɔ wɔn no anya nkwa.
7 God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.
Onyankopɔn akasa afi ne kronkronbea se, “Nkonim mu na mɛkyɛ Sekem mu na masusuw Sukot Bon.
8 Gilead is mine. Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is my helmet. Judah is my sceptre.
Gilead yɛ me de; Manase nso saa ara; Efraim yɛ me dade kyɛw, Yuda yɛ mʼahempema.
9 Moab is my wash pot. I will toss my sandal on Edom. I will shout over Philistia.”
Moab yɛ me guasɛn, Edom so na metow me mpaboa gu; na meteɛ mu nkonimdi so gu Filistifo so.”
10 Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
Hena na ɔde me bɛkɔ kuropɔn a wɔabɔ ho ban no mu? Hena na obedi mʼanim akɔ Edom?
11 Haven’t you rejected us, God? You don’t go out, God, with our armies.
Onyankopɔn, ɛnyɛ wo na woapo yɛn na wo ne yɛn asraafo nkɔ ɔsa bio ana?
12 Give us help against the enemy, for the help of man is vain.
Boa yɛn tia ɔtamfo no, na ɔdesani mmoa nka hwee.
13 Through God, we will do valiantly, for it is he who will tread down our enemies.
Onyankopɔn wɔ yɛn afa yi, yebedi nkonim, na obetiatia yɛn atamfo so.
