< Psalms 105 >
1 Give thanks to the LORD! Call on his name! Make his doings known amongst the peoples.
Cookeria Jehova ngaatho, kaĩrai rĩĩtwa rĩake; menyithiai ndũrĩrĩ maũndũ marĩa ekĩte.
2 Sing to him, sing praises to him! Tell of all his marvellous works.
Mũinĩrei, mũmũinĩre mũkĩmũgoocaga; heanai ũhoro wa ciĩko ciake ciothe cia magegania.
3 Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
Mwĩrahei nĩ ũndũ wa rĩĩtwa rĩake itheru; ngoro cia arĩa marongoragia Jehova nĩikene.
4 Seek the LORD and his strength. Seek his face forever more.
Cũthĩrĩriai Jehova na hinya wake; mathaai ũthiũ wake hĩndĩ ciothe.
5 Remember his marvellous works that he has done: his wonders, and the judgements of his mouth,
Ririkanai magegania marĩa ekĩte, na ciama ciake, na matuĩro ma ciira marĩa atuĩte,
6 you offspring of Abraham, his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

7 He is the LORD, our God. His judgements are in all the earth.

8 He has remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,
Nĩaririkanaga kĩrĩkanĩro gĩake nginya tene, nĩkĩo kiugo kĩrĩa aathanire, nĩ ũndũ wa njiarwa ngiri,
9 the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac,
kĩrĩkanĩro kĩrĩa aarĩkanĩire na Iburahĩmu, na noguo mwĩhĩtwa ũrĩa eehĩtire harĩ Isaaka.
10 and confirmed it to Jacob for a statute; to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
Nĩagĩĩkĩrire hinya harĩ Jakubu kĩrĩ kĩrĩra gĩake kĩa watho wa kũrũmagĩrĩrwo, agĩgĩĩkĩra hinya harĩ Isiraeli kĩrĩ kĩrĩkanĩro gĩa gũtũũra tene na tene:
11 saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance,”
“Wee nĩwe ngaahe bũrũri wa Kaanani ũtuĩke igai rĩrĩa ũkaagaya.”
12 when they were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners in it.
Hĩndĩ ĩrĩa maarĩ o anini magĩtarwo, o anini biũ, na marĩ ageni kuo-rĩ,
13 They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
morũũraga kuuma rũrĩrĩ rũmwe nginya rũrĩa rũngĩ, na kuuma ũthamaki-inĩ ũmwe nginya ũrĩa ũngĩ.
14 He allowed no one to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,
Ndarĩ mũndũ o na ũmwe eetĩkĩririe amanyariire; nĩ ũndũ wao akĩrũithia athamaki, akĩmeera atĩrĩ:
15 “Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”
“Mũtikanahutie andũ arĩa akwa aitĩrĩrie maguta; mũtikaneke anabii akwa ũũru.”
16 He called for a famine on the land. He destroyed the food supplies.
Agĩtũma bũrũri ũcio ũgĩe ngʼaragu, na akĩniina mĩthiithũ yao yothe ya irio;
17 He sent a man before them. Joseph was sold for a slave.
agĩtũma mũndũ athiĩ mbere yao: nĩwe Jusufu, ũrĩa wendirio arĩ ngombo.
18 They bruised his feet with shackles. His neck was locked in irons,
Nĩmamũtiihirie magũrũ na bĩngũ, na makĩmuoha ngingo na igera,
19 until the time that his word happened, and the LORD’s word proved him true.
nginya ũrĩa oigĩte ũgĩkinyanĩra, nginya kiugo kĩa Jehova gĩkĩonania atĩ aarĩ mũndũ wa ma.
20 The king sent and freed him, even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.
Mũthamaki agĩtũmana na akĩmuohorithia, mwathi ũcio wa ndũrĩrĩ akĩmũrekereria.
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all of his possessions,
Akĩmũtua mwathi wa indo cia nyũmba yake, na mũrori wa indo iria ciothe aarĩ nacio,
22 to discipline his princes at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.

23 Israel also came into Egypt. Jacob lived in the land of Ham.
Hĩndĩ ĩyo Isiraeli agĩthiĩ Misiri; Jakubu agĩtũũra arĩ mũgeni bũrũri-inĩ ũcio wa Hamu.
24 He increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their adversaries.
Jehova agĩtũma andũ ake maciarane mũno; agĩtũma maingĩhe mũno gũkĩra thũ ciao,
25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to conspire against his servants.
iria aagarũrire ngoro ciao agĩtũma ithũũre andũ ake, agĩtũma ithugundĩre ndungata ciake ũũru.
26 He sent Moses, his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.
Aatũmire Musa ndungata yake, na Harũni, ũrĩa aathurĩte.
27 They performed miracles amongst them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
Nao makĩringa ciama ciake gatagatĩ-inĩ kao, magĩĩka magegania make bũrũri-inĩ wa Hamu.
28 He sent darkness, and made it dark. They didn’t rebel against his words.
Agĩtũma kũgĩe nduma naguo bũrũri ũcio ũgĩtumana, tondũ-rĩ, githĩ ti ciugo ciake maaremeire?
29 He turned their waters into blood, and killed their fish.
Akĩgarũra maaĩ mao magĩtuĩka thakame, agĩtũma thamaki ciao ikue.
30 Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the rooms of their kings.
Bũrũri wao ũkĩiyũra ciũra, iria ciatoonyire nginya tũnyũmba twa toro twa anene ao.
31 He spoke, and swarms of flies came, and lice in all their borders.
Aaririe, gũgĩũka mĩrumbĩ ya ngi, na rwagĩ rũkĩiyũra bũrũri wao wothe.
32 He gave them hail for rain, with lightning in their land.
Akĩgarũra mbura yao ĩgĩtuĩka ya mbembe, na heni ikĩhenũka bũrũri-inĩ wao wothe;
33 He struck their vines and also their fig trees, and shattered the trees of their country.
akĩrũnda mĩthabibũ yao, na mĩkũyũ, na akiunanga mĩtĩ ya bũrũri wao.
34 He spoke, and the locusts came with the grasshoppers, without number.
Aaririe, nacio ngigĩ igĩũka, na ndaahi itangĩtarĩka;
35 They ate up every plant in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.
ikĩrĩa kĩndũ gĩothe kĩarĩ kĩĩruru bũrũri-inĩ wao, na ikĩrĩa maciaro ma tĩĩri wao.
36 He struck also all the firstborn in their land, the first fruits of all their manhood.
Ningĩ akĩũraga marigithathi mothe ma bũrũri wao, maciaro ma mbere ma ũciari wao wothe.
37 He brought them out with silver and gold. There was not one feeble person amongst his tribes.
Nĩaarutire Isiraeli makiuma kuo, makuuĩte betha na thahabu, na gatagatĩ ka mĩhĩrĩga yao hatiarĩ mũndũ o na ũmwe warĩ mũhinyaru.
38 Egypt was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen on them.
Andũ a Misiri nĩmakenire moima kuo, tondũ nĩmanyiitĩtwo nĩ guoya wa andũ acio a Isiraeli.
39 He spread a cloud for a covering, fire to give light in the night.

40 They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of the sky.
Metirie irio, nake akĩmarehere tũmakia-arũme, na akĩmahũũnia na irio cia igũrũ.
41 He opened the rock, and waters gushed out. They ran as a river in the dry places.
Aatũranirie rwaro rwa ihiga, namo maaĩ magĩtothoka; magĩgĩtherera ta rũũĩ kũu werũ-inĩ.
42 For he remembered his holy word, and Abraham, his servant.
Nĩgũkorwo nĩaririkanire kĩĩranĩro gĩake gĩtheru kĩrĩa aarĩkanĩire na ndungata yake Iburahĩmu.
43 He brought his people out with joy, his chosen with singing.
Nĩaarutire andũ ake makiuma kũu makenete, akĩruta acio ake athuure makĩanagĩrĩra nĩ gũkena;
44 He gave them the lands of the nations. They took the labour of the peoples in possession,
akĩmahe mabũrũri ma ndũrĩrĩ, nao magĩtuĩka a kũgaya kĩrĩa andũ angĩ maanogeire,
45 that they might keep his statutes, and observe his laws. Praise the LORD!
