< Isaiah 6 >
1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up; and his train filled the temple.
Afe a ɔhene Usia wui mu no, mihuu Awurade sɛ ɔte ahengua a ɛkorɔn na wapagyaw so na nʼatade mmuano ayɛ hyiadan mu hɔ ma.
2 Above him stood the seraphim. Each one had six wings. With two he covered his face. With two he covered his feet. With two he flew.
Na Serafim a wɔn mu biara wɔ ntaban asia wɔ nʼatifi. Wɔde ntaban no abien kata wɔn anim, na wɔde abien nso kata wɔn nan ho na wɔde abien nso tu.
3 One called to another, and said, “Holy, holy, holy, is Yahweh of Armies! The whole earth is full of his glory!”
Na obiara teɛ mu kyerɛ ne yɔnko se, “Kronkron! Kronkron! Kronkron ne Asafo Awurade; Nʼanuonyam ahyɛ asase nyinaa so ma!”
4 The foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.
Wɔn nne nnyigyei maa apon ne abobow ano wosowee, na wusiw yɛɛ hyiadan mu hɔ ma.
5 Then I said, “Woe is me! For I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips and I live among a people of unclean lips, for my eyes have seen the King, Yahweh of Armies!”
Meteɛɛ mu kae se, “Minnue! Memfata! Meyɛ onipa a mʼano ho ntew, na mete nnipa a wɔn ano ho ntew mu, na mʼani ahu Ɔhene, Awurade Asafo no yi.”
6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar.
Na Serafim no mu baako a okura nnyansramma, a ɔde ɔdaban kɔfa fii afɔremuka no so tu baa me nkyɛn.
7 He touched my mouth with it, and said, “Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin forgiven.”
Ɔde eyi kaa mʼano kae se, “Hwɛ, eyi aka wʼanofafa, wɔayi wʼafɔdi na wɔatua wo bɔne so ka.”
8 I heard the Lord’s voice, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am. Send me!”
Afei, metee Awurade nne a ɛrebisa se, “Hena na mensoma no? Na hena na ɔbɛkɔ ama yɛn?” Na mekae se, “Mini. Soma me!”
9 He said, “Go, and tell this people, ‘You hear indeed, but don’t understand. You see indeed, but don’t perceive.’
Na ɔkae se, “Kɔ na kɔka kyerɛ saa nkurɔfo yi se, “‘Ɔte de mobɛte, nanso morente ase; Ɔhwɛ de mobɛhwɛ, nanso morenhu.’
10 Make the heart of this people fat. Make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and turn again, and be healed.”
Efisɛ mo, moapirim mo koma; moasisiw mo aso, akatakata mo ani. Ɛnyɛ saa a, anka mo ani behu ade, na mo koma ate asɛm ase, na moanu mo ho asan aba me nkyɛn, na masa mo yare.”
11 Then I said, “Lord, how long?” He answered, “Until cities are waste without inhabitant, houses without man, the land becomes utterly waste,
12 and Yahweh has removed men far away, and the forsaken places are many within the land.
enkosi sɛ, Awurade bɛpam obiara akɔ akyirikyiri na asase no ada mpan.
13 If there is a tenth left in it, that also will in turn be consumed, as a terebinth, and as an oak whose stump remains when they are cut down, so the holy seed is its stump.”
Mpo, sɛ nkyɛmu du mu baako ka asase no so a wɔbɛsɛe no bio. Nso sɛnea dupɔn anaa odum gyaw dunsin, bere a wɔatwa ato fam no, saa ara na aba kronkron no bɛyɛ dunsin wɔ asase no so.”
