Psalms 51
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came to him, after he had gone in to Bath-sheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving-kindness: according to the multitude of thy tender mercies, blot out my transgressions.
ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದಾವೀದನು ಬತ್ಷೆಬೆಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ನಾತಾನನು ಅವನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದಾಗ ರಚಿಸಿದ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರೀತಿಗೆ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಹಾ ಅನುಕಂಪಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಅತಿಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳಿಸಿಬಿಡಿರಿ.
2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದುಬಿಡಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿರಿ.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin [is] ever before me.
ನನ್ನ ಅತಿಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನೇ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪವು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಇದೆ.
4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done [this] evil in thy sight: that thou mayest be justified when thou speakest, [and] be clear when thou judgest.
ನಿಮಗೇ ನಿಮಗೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದಾಗಿರುವುದ್ದನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ನೀವು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವಾಗ ನೀತಿವಂತರಾಗಿಯೂ ನೀವು ತೀರ್ಪು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸುವಾಗ ನ್ಯಾಯವಂತರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವಿರಿ.
5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
ಹುಟ್ಟಿದಂದಿನಿಂದಲೇ ನಾನು ಪಾಪಿ. ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಗರ್ಭಧರಿಸಿದಾಗಲೇ ನಾನು ಪಾಪಿಯೇ.
6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden [part] thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
ಆದರೂ ಅಂತರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಯಥಾರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೀರಿ. ನೀವು ಹೃದಯದ ಆಂತರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
ಹಿಸ್ಸೋಪಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶುಚಿಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಆಗ ನಾನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗುವೆನು. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೊಳೆಯಿರಿ, ಆಗ ಹಿಮಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಬೆಳ್ಳಗಾಗುವೆನು.
8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; [that] the bones [which] thou hast broken may rejoice.
ನಾನು ಆನಂದವನ್ನೂ ಹರ್ಷವನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ನೀವು ಜಜ್ಜಿದ ಎಲುಬುಗಳು ಆನಂದಪಡಲಿ.
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.
ನನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಅಧರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಳಿಸಿಬಿಡಿರಿ.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
ಓ ದೇವರೇ, ಶುದ್ಧ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಸ್ಥಿರವಾದ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನವೀಕರಿಸಿರಿ.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊರ ದೂಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮರನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಡಿರಿ.
12 Restore to me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me [with thy] free spirit.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಆನಂದವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಪುನಃ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿರಿ; ನನಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಿರಿ.
13 [Then] will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted to thee.
ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅತಿಕ್ರಮಿಸಿದವರಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸುವೆನು; ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಪಿಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
14 Deliver me from blood-guiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: [and] my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ದೇವರೇ, ರಕ್ತಾಪರಾಧದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡುವುದು.
15 O LORD, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall show forth thy praise.
ಕರ್ತಾ, ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಿರಿ. ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿ ಮಾಡುವುದು.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice: else would I give [it]: thou delightest not in burnt-offering.
ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಇಷ್ಟಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ತರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು. ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
17 The sacrifices of God [are] a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
ಓ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳು ಮುರಿದ ಆತ್ಮವೇ. ಮುರಿದಂಥ, ಜಜ್ಜಿದಂಥ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ದೇವರು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
18 Do good in thy good pleasure to Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯಿಂದ ಚೀಯೋನಿಗೆ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿರಿ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಗೋಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿರಿ.
19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt-offering and whole burnt-offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thy altar.
ಆಗ ನೀತಿಯ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ನೀವು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುವಿರಿ; ಆಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.
