< Psalms 13 >

1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
Koze kube nini, Nkosi, ungikhohlwa kokuphela? Koze kube nini ungifihlela ubuso bakho?
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, [having] sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy be exalted over me?
Koze kube nini ngizicebisa emphefumulweni wami, ngilosizi enhliziyweni yami insuku zonke? Koze kube nini isitha sami siphakanyiswa phezu kwami?
3 Consider [and] hear me, O LORD my God: lighten my eyes, lest I sleep [the sleep] of death;
Khangela, ungiphendule, Nkosi, Nkulunkulu wami; khanyisa amehlo ami hlezi ngilale ubuthongo bokufa,
4 Lest my enemy say, I have prevailed against him; [and] those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
hlezi isitha sami sithi: Sengimehlule; labangihluphayo bathokoze lapho nginyikinywa.
5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
Kodwa mina ngithembele emuseni wakho, inhliziyo yami izathaba ngosindiso lwakho.
6 I will sing to the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
Ngizayihlabelela iNkosi, ngoba ingenzele okuhle kakhulu.
