Psalms 121

1 A Song of degrees. I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence cometh my help.

੧ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਚੁੱਕਾਂਗਾ, ਮੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਆਵੇਗੀ?

2 My help [cometh] from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

੨ਮੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ।

3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

੩ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੈਰ ਨੂੰ ਡੋਲਣ ਨਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਤੇਰਾ ਰਾਖ਼ਾ ਨਾ ਉਂਘਲਾਵੇਗਾ,

4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

੪ਵੇਖ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਖ਼ਾ ਨਾ ਉਂਘਲਾਵੇਗਾ ਨਾ ਸੌਵੇਂਗਾ!

5 The LORD [is] thy keeper: the LORD [is] thy shade upon thy right hand.

੫ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇਰਾ ਰਾਖ਼ਾ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਸਾਯਾ ਹੈ।

6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

੬ਨਾ ਦਿਨੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੇਗਾ, ਨਾ ਰਾਤੀਂ ਚੰਦਰਮਾ।

7 The LORD will preserve thee from all evil: he will preserve thy soul.

੭ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਬਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

8 The LORD will preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for ever.

੮ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ-ਬਾਹਰ ਆਉਣ ਜਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁਣ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਕਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰੇਗਾ!
