Psalms 105
1 O give thanks to the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
Agradecei ao SENHOR, chamai o seu nome; anunciai suas obras entre os povos.
2 Sing to him, sing psalms to him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
Cantai a ele, tocai músicas para ele; falai de todas as suas maravilhas.
3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
Tende orgulho de seu santo nome; alegre-se o coração dos que buscam ao SENHOR.
4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
Buscai ao SENHOR e à sua força; buscai a presença dele continuamente.
5 Remember his wonderful works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
Lembrai-vos de suas maravilhas, que ele fez; de seus milagres, e dos juízos de sua boca.
6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
Vós, [que sois da] semente de seu servo Abraão; vós, filhos de Jacó, seus escolhidos.
7 He [is] the LORD our God: his judgments [are] in all the earth.
Ele é o SENHOR, nosso Deus; seus juízos [estão] em toda a terra.
8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word [which] he commanded to a thousand generations.
Ele se lembra para sempre de seu pacto, da palavra que ele mandou até mil gerações;
9 Which [covenant] he made with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac;
O qual ele firmou com Abraão, e de seu juramento a Isaque.
10 And confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, [and] to Israel [for] an everlasting covenant:
O qual também confirmou a Jacó como estatuto, a Israel como pacto eterno.
11 Saying, To thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
Dizendo: A ti darei a terra de Canaã, a porção de vossa herança.
12 When they were a few men in number; yes, very few, and strangers in it.
Sendo eles poucos em número; [eram] poucos, e estrangeiros nela.
13 When they went from one nation to another, from [one] kingdom to another people;
E andaram de nação em nação, de um reino a outro povo.
14 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yes, he reproved kings for their sakes;
Ele não permitiu a ninguém que os oprimisse; e por causa deles repreendeu a reis,
15 [Saying], Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
[Dizendo]: Não toqueis nos meus ungidos, e não façais mal a meus profetas.
16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he broke the whole staff of bread.
E chamou a fome sobre a terra; ele interrompeu toda fonte de alimento;
17 He sent a man before them, [even] Joseph, [who] was sold for a servant:
Enviou um homem adiante deles: José, [que] foi vendido como escravo.
18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
Amarraram seus pés em correntes; ele foi preso com ferros;
19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.
Até o tempo que sua mensagem chegou, a palavra do SENHOR provou o valor que ele tinha.
20 The king sent and loosed him; [even] the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
O rei mandou que ele fosse solto; o governante de povos o libertou.
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
Ele o pôs como senhor de sua casa, e por chefe de todos os seus bens,
22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
Para dar ordens a suas autoridades, e instruir a seus anciãos.
23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
Então Israel entrou no Egito; Jacó peregrinou na terra de Cam.
24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
E fez seu povo crescer muito, e o fez mais poderoso que seus adversários.
25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
E mudou o coração [dos outros], para que odiassem ao seu povo, para que tratassem mal a seus servos.
26 He sent Moses his servant; [and] Aaron whom he had chosen.
[Então] enviou seu servo Moisés, e a Arão, a quem tinha escolhido;
27 They showed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
[Que] fizeram entre eles os sinais anunciados, e coisas sobrenaturais na terra de Cam.
28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
Ele mandou trevas, e fez escurecer; e não foram rebeldes a sua palavra.
29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
Ele transformou suas águas em sangue, e matou a seus peixes.
30 Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
A terra deles produziu rãs em abundância, [até] nos quartos de seus reis.
31 He spoke, and there came divers sorts of flies, [and] lice in all their borders.
Ele falou, e vieram vários bichos [e] piolhos em todos os seus limites.
32 He gave them hail for rain, [and] flaming fire in their land.
Tornou suas chuvas em saraiva; [pôs] fogo ardente em sua terra.
33 He smote their vines also and their fig-trees; and broke the trees of their borders.
E feriu suas vinhas e seus figueirais; e quebrou as árvores de seus territórios.
34 He spoke, and the locusts came, and caterpillars, and that without number,
Ele falou, e vieram gafanhotos, e incontáveis pulgões;
35 And ate up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
E comeram toda a erva de sua terra; e devoraram o fruto de seus campos.
36 He smote also all the first-born in their land, the chief of all their strength.
Também feriu a todos os primogênitos em sua terra; os primeiros de todas as suas forças.
37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and [there was] not one feeble [person] among their tribes.
E os tirou [dali] com prata e ouro; e dentre suas tribos não houve quem tropeçasse.
38 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
[Até] o Egito se alegrou com a saída deles, porque seu temor tinha caído sobre eles.
39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
Ele estendeu uma nuvem como cobertor, e um fogo para iluminar a noite.
40 [The people] asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
Eles pediram, e fez vir codornizes; e os fartou com pão do céu.
41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places [like] a river.
Ele abriu uma rocha, e dela saíram águas; [e] correram [como] um rio pelos lugares secos;
42 For he remembered his holy promise, [and] Abraham his servant.
Porque se lembrou de sua santa palavra, e de seu servo Abraão.
43 And he brought forth his people with joy, [and] his chosen with gladness:
Então ele tirou [dali] a seu povo com alegria; e seus eleitos com celebração.
44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labor of the people;
E lhes deu as terras das nações; e do trabalho das nações tomaram posse;
45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.
Para que guardassem seus estatutos, e obedecessem a leis dele. Aleluia!
