< Psalms 105 >

1 O give thanks to the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
Angraeng khaeah anghoehaih lok to thui ah; anih ih ahmin to kawk oh; a sak ih hmuennawk to kaminawk khaeah amtuengsak oh.
2 Sing to him, sing psalms to him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
Angmah khaeah laasah oh loe, angmah khaeah saam laa to sah oh; a sak ih dawnrai hmuennawk to thui oh.
3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
Anih ih ciimcai ahmin to lensawkhaih hoiah amoek o haih ah; Angraeng pakrong kaminawk ih palungthin loe anghoe nasoe.
4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
Angraeng hoi a thacakhaih to pakrong oh; a mikhmai to pakrong oh!
5 Remember his wonderful works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
A sak ih dawnrai, anghmang thok hmuennawk, angmah ih pakha hoi tacawt lokcaekhaihnawk to pakuem oh,
6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
a tamna Abraham ih caanawk, a qoih ih Jakob ih caanawk to panoek oh!
7 He [is] the LORD our God: his judgments [are] in all the earth.
Anih loe aicae Angraeng Sithaw ah oh; a lokcaekhaih loe long nui boih ah oh.
8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word [which] he commanded to a thousand generations.
Anih loe angmah sak ih lokmaihaih to dungzan khoek to panoek poe, a thuih ih lok to adung sangto khoek to panoek,
9 Which [covenant] he made with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac;
anih loe Abraham hoi a sak ih lokmaihaih, Isaak khaeah sak ih lokkamhaih to panoek poe;
10 And confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, [and] to Israel [for] an everlasting covenant:
to lokmaihaih to Jakob khaeah a caksak moe, Israel khaeah dungzan lokmaihaih ah a suek:
11 Saying, To thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
Kanaan prae to kang paek han, nangmah ih taham ah kaom qawk baktiah na toep tih, tiah a naa.
12 When they were a few men in number; yes, very few, and strangers in it.
Nihcae loe kami tamsi o, ue, paroeai tamsi kaminawk loe prae thungah angvin ah oh o.
13 When they went from one nation to another, from [one] kingdom to another people;
Nihcae mah acaeng maeto hoi maeto khaeah caeh o moe, prae maeto hoi kalah kaminawk khaeah a caeh o naah,
14 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yes, he reproved kings for their sakes;
mi doeh kasae hmuen to sahsak ai; ue, nihcae pongah siangpahrangnawk to a thuitaek,
15 [Saying], Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he broke the whole staff of bread.

17 He sent a man before them, [even] Joseph, [who] was sold for a servant:

18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
Anih ih khok to thlongthuk pae o moe, sumboeng hoiah pacaekthlaek o;
19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.

20 The king sent and loosed him; [even] the ruler of the people, and let him go free.

21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
Anih to a imthung ah angraeng ah suek, a tawnh ih hmuennawk boih ukkung ah a suek,
22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
Anih mah angraeng capanawk to a koeh baktiah patuk, to tiah anih loe kacoehtanawk palunghahaih patuk hanah oh.
23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
Israel doeh Izip prae thungah angzoh; Jakob loe Ham prae thungah oh.
24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
Angraeng mah angmah ih kaminawk to pungsak moe, nihcae ih misanawk pongah tha a caksak kue.
25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
Anih ih kaminawk hnukma moe, a tamnanawk kasae sak pacaeng hanah, nihcae ih palungthin to a paqoi pae.
26 He sent Moses his servant; [and] Aaron whom he had chosen.
A tamna Mosi hoi a qoih ih Aaron to patoeh.
27 They showed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.

28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.

29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
Nihcae ih tuinawk to athii ah angcoengsak moe, tanganawk to dueksak.
30 Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
Nihcae ih prae thungah ukongnawk to a pungsak, angmacae siangpahrang iihhaih ahmuen khoek to ohsak.
31 He spoke, and there came divers sorts of flies, [and] lice in all their borders.
Lok a thuih moe, taksaenawk to a pungsak, prae thung boih ah alungh to koi.
32 He gave them hail for rain, [and] flaming fire in their land.
Anih mah khotui zuengah qaetui to paek moe, a prae thungah hmai kangqong to phaksak.
33 He smote their vines also and their fig-trees; and broke the trees of their borders.
Misurkung hoi thaiduetkungnawk to amrosak king moe, prae thung ih thingnawk to amtimsak boih.
34 He spoke, and the locusts came, and caterpillars, and that without number,
Anih mah lokthuih let naah, pakhuhnawk to angzoh o, kroeklaek ai langkawknawk to angzoh o,
35 And ate up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
angmacae prae thung ih kahing aanqamnawk to caak pae o king moe, long ah kamprawk thingthai qumponawk doeh caak pae o boih.
36 He smote also all the first-born in their land, the chief of all their strength.
Angmacae prae thungah kami ih athaih tangsuek ah kaom a calunawk to a hum pae boih.
37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and [there was] not one feeble [person] among their tribes.
Anih mah nihcae han sui hoi sumkanglung to phawsak; angmah ih acaengnawk thungah thacak ai kami maeto doeh om ai.
38 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
Izip kaminawk mah nihcae to zit pongah, nihcae amlaem o naah prae boih anghoe o.
39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
Nihcae khuk hanah tamai to amzamsak, aqum ah aanghaih paek hanah hmai to a paek.
40 [The people] asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
Kaminawk mah hnik o naah, kuikoem to a paek, van ih takaw hoiah nihcae to zok amhahsak.
41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places [like] a river.
Anih mah thlung to paongh moe, tui to tacawt; tui loe prae karoem ah vapui baktiah longh.
42 For he remembered his holy promise, [and] Abraham his servant.
Anih loe a tamna Abraham khaeah paek ih, kaciim a lokkamhaih to panoek poe.
43 And he brought forth his people with joy, [and] his chosen with gladness:
Anih mah angmah ih kaminawk to anghoehaih hoiah caeh haih, a qoih ih kaminawk to anghoehaih hoiah a zaeh,
44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labor of the people;
Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk ih prae to nihcae hanah a paek; minawk mah sak tangcae ih prae to nihcae mah qawk ah toep o,
45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.
