Job 18
1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
ಆಗ ಶೂಹ್ಯನಾದ ಬಿಲ್ದದನು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು ಹೀಗೆಂದನು:
2 How long [will it be ere] ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.
“ಯೋಬನೇ, ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನೀನು ಯಾವಾಗ ಕೊನೆಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತೀ? ವಿವೇಕಿಯಾಗು, ಆಮೇಲೆ ಮಾತನಾಡೋಣ.
3 Why are we counted as beasts, [and] reputed vile in your sight?
ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮೃಗಗಳೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿರುವೆಯಾ? ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ದಡ್ಡರೋ?
4 He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of its place?
ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀನೇ ಸೀಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆಯಾ? ನಿನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಭೂಮಿ ಹಾಳಾಗಬೇಕೋ? ಬಂಡೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಬೇಕೋ?
5 Yes, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
“ಹೌದು, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ದುಷ್ಟರ ಬೆಳಕು ಆರಿಹೋಗುವುದು; ಅವನ ಬಾಳಿನ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯು ಉರಿಯದೆ ಹೋಗುವುದು.
6 The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.
ಅವನ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಕು ಕತ್ತಲಾಗುವುದು; ಅವನ ಮೇಲಣ ತೂಗು ದೀಪವು ಆರಿಹೋಗುವುದು.
7 The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
ಅವನ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳು ದುರ್ಬಲಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದು; ಅವನ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳೇ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿಹಾಕುವವು.
8 For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಬಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುವನು; ಅವನು ಕುಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಅಲೆದಾಡುವನು.
9 The gin shall take [him] by the heel, [and] the robber shall prevail against him.
ಬೋನು ಅವನ ಹಿಮ್ಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು; ಉರುಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಗಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿದಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.
10 The snare [is] laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಾಶವೂ, ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಲವೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೊಂಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುವು.
11 Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ದಿಗಿಲುಗಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸಿ, ಅವನ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಓಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವುವು.
12 His strength shall be hunger-bitten, and destruction [shall be] ready at his side.
ಅವನ ಬಲವು ಕುಸಿಯುವುದು; ವಿನಾಶವು ಅವನ ಬೀಳುವಿಕೆಗಾಗಿ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
13 It shall devour the strength of his skin: [even] the first-born of death shall devour his strength.
ಅದು ಅವನ ಚರ್ಮದ ಬಲವನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಡುವುದು; ಮರಣದ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲತನವು ಅವನ ಅಂಗಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುವುದು.
14 His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
ಅವನು ಭದ್ರತೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದಿಂದ ಹೊರಬೀಳುವನು. ಅವನು ಭಯಂಕರ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಗಬೇಕಾಗುವುದು.
15 It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because [it is] none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.
ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಅವನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಡುವುದು; ಅವನ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಗಂಧಕವನ್ನು ಎರಚಲಾಗುವುದು.
16 His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.
ಬುಡದಿಂದ ಅವನ ಬೇರುಗಳು ಒಣಗುವುವು; ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ಅವನ ರೆಂಬೆಯು ಬಾಡುವುದು.
17 His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.
ಅವನ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಯು ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ಅಳಿದುಹೋಗುವುದು; ನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಹೆಸರು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋಗುವುದು.
18 He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
ಬೆಳಕಿನಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಲೆಗೆ ದಬ್ಬಲಾಗುವುದು; ಅವನು ಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಬಹಿಷ್ಕರಿಸಲಾಗುವನು.
19 He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.
ಅವನ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಗನೂ, ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಅವನು ವಾಸಿಸಿದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಉಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
20 They that come after [him] shall be astonished at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.
ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಜನರು ಅವನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಡುವರು; ಪೂರ್ವದ ಕಡೆಯವರನ್ನು ದಿಗಿಲು ಹಿಡಿಯುವುದು.
21 Surely such [are] the dwellings of the wicked, and this [is] the place [of him that] knoweth not God.
ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ದುಷ್ಟರ ನೆಲೆಯು ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಇರುವುದು; ದೇವರನ್ನು ಅರಿಯದವನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಇದೇ.”
