Jeremiah 52
1 Zedekiah [was] one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name [was] Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
Zedekia berumur dua puluh satu tahun pada waktu ia menjadi raja dan sebelas tahun lamanya ia memerintah di Yerusalem. Nama ibunya ialah Hamutal binti Yeremia, dari Libna.
2 And he did [that which was] evil in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
Ia melakukan apa yang jahat di mata TUHAN tepat seperti yang telah dilakukan Yoyakim.
3 For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
Sebab oleh karena murka Tuhanlah hal itu terjadi terhadap Yerusalem dan Yehuda, yakni bahwa Ia sampai membuang mereka dari hadapan-Nya. Zedekia memberontak terhadap raja Babel.
4 And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, [that] Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and encamped against it, and built forts against it on every side.
Maka pada tahun kesembilan dari pemerintahannya, dalam bulan yang kesepuluh, pada tanggal sepuluh bulan itu, datanglah Nebukadnezar, raja Babel, dengan segala tentaranya menyerang Yerusalem. Berkemahlah mereka mengepungnya dan didirikan merekalah tembok pengepungan sekelilingnya.
5 So the city was besieged to the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
Demikianlah kota itu terkepung sampai tahun yang kesebelas pemerintahan raja Zedekia.
6 And in the fourth month, in the ninth [day] of the month, the famine was severe in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.
Pada tanggal sembilan bulan yang keempat, ketika kelaparan sudah merajalela di kota itu dan tidak ada lagi makanan pada rakyat negeri itu,
7 Then the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled, and went forth from the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which [was] by the king's garden; (now the Chaldeans [were] by the city on all sides: ) and they went by the way of the plain.
maka dibelah oranglah tembok kota itu. Melihat hal itu maka melarikan dirilah raja dengan semua tentara, meninggalkan kota itu pada waktu malam melalui pintu gerbang antara kedua tembok yang ada di dekat taman raja, sekalipun orang Kasdim mengepung kota itu sekeliling. Mereka lari menuju ke Araba-Yordan.
8 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him.
Tetapi tentara Kasdim itu mengejar raja dari belakang dan mencapai Zedekia di dataran Yerikho; segala tentaranya telah berserak-serak meninggalkan dia.
9 Then they took the king, and carried him to the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; where he gave judgment upon him.
Mereka menangkap raja dan membawa dia ke Ribla di tanah Hamat, kepada raja Babel, yang menjatuhkan hukuman atas dia.
10 And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah.
Raja Babel menyuruh menyembelih anak-anak Zedekia di depan matanya; juga semua pemuka Yehuda disembelihnya di Ribla.
11 Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.
Kemudian mata Zedekia dibutakannya, lalu ia dibelenggu dengan rantai tembaga. Kemudian raja Babel membawa dia ke Babel dan menaruhnya dalam rumah hukuman sampai kepada hari matinya.
12 Now in the fifth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, which [was] the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzar-adan, captain of the guard, [who] served the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem,
Dalam bulan yang kelima, pada tanggal sepuluh bulan itu--itulah tahun kesembilan belas pemerintahan Nebukadnezar, raja Babel--datanglah Nebuzaradan, kepala pasukan pengawal, yang melayani raja Babel, ke Yerusalem.
13 And burned the house of the LORD, and the king's house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, and all the houses of the great [men] he burned with fire:
Ia membakar rumah TUHAN, rumah raja dan segala rumah di Yerusalem; segala rumah orang-orang besar dibakarnya dengan api.
14 And all the army of the Chaldeans, that [were] with the captain of the guard, broke down all the walls of Jerusalem on every side.
Segala tembok sekeliling kota Yerusalem dirobohkan oleh tentara Kasdim yang ada bersama-sama dengan kepala pasukan pengawal itu.
15 Then Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard carried away captive [certain] of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.
Sebagian dari orang-orang yang paling lemah dan sisa-sisa rakyat yang masih tinggal di kota itu dan pembelot-pembelot yang menyeberang ke pihak raja Babel dan sisa-sisa para pekerja tangan diangkut ke dalam pembuangan oleh Nebuzaradan, kepala pasukan pengawal itu.
16 But Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard left [certain] of the poor of the land for vine-dressers and for husbandmen.
Hanya beberapa orang miskin dari negeri itu ditinggalkan oleh Nebuzaradan, kepala pasukan pengawal itu, untuk menjadi tukang-tukang kebun anggur dan peladang-peladang.
17 Also the pillars of brass that [were] in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brazen sea that [was] in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans broke, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon.
Juga tiang-tiang tembaga yang ada di rumah TUHAN dan kereta penopang dan laut tembaga yang ada di rumah TUHAN dipecahkan oleh orang Kasdim dan seluruh tembaganya diangkut mereka ke Babel.
18 The caldrons also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass with which they ministered, they took away.
Kuali-kuali, penyodok-penyodok, pisau-pisau, bokor-bokor penyiraman dan cawan-cawan dan segala perkakas tembaga yang dipakai untuk menyelenggarakan kebaktian diambil mereka,
19 And the basins, and the fire-pans, and the bowls, and the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups; [that] which [was] of gold [in] gold, and [that] which [was] of silver [in] silver, the captain of the guard took away.
juga pasu-pasu, perbaraan-perbaraan, bokor-bokor penyiraman, kuali-kuali, kandil-kandil, cawan-cawan dan piala-piala, baik segala yang dari emas maupun segala yang dari perak, diambil oleh kepala pasukan pengawal itu.
20 The two pillars, one sea, and twelve brazen bulls that [were] under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the LORD: the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
Adapun kedua tiang, laut yang satu itu dan kedua belas lembu tembaga yang ada di bawah kereta penopang, yang dibuat oleh raja Salomo untuk rumah TUHAN, tiada tertimbang tembaga segala perkakas ini.
21 And [concerning] the pillars, the hight of one pillar [was] eighteen cubits; and a fillet of twelve cubits encompassed it; and the thickness of it [was] four fingers: [it was] hollow.
Adapun tiang-tiang itu, satu tiang delapan belas hasta tingginya dan dapat dililit oleh tali yang dua belas hasta panjangnya; tebalnya empat jari dan geronggang dari dalam.
22 And a capital of brass [was] upon it; and the hight of one capital [was] five cubits, with net-work and pomegranates upon the capitals around, all [of] brass. The second pillar also and the pomegranates [were] like to these.
Di atasnya ada ganja dari tembaga; tinggi ganja yang satu itu lima hasta, dan jala-jala dan buah-buah delima ada di atas ganja itu sekeliling, semuanya dari tembaga. Dan tiang yang kedua seperti itu juga. Mengenai buah delima,
23 And there were ninety and six pomegranates on a side; [and] all the pomegranates upon the net-work [were] a hundred on all sides.
ada sembilan puluh enam buah delima yang merupakan gambar timbul; seluruhnya buah-buah delima itu ada seratus pada jala-jala itu berkeliling.
24 And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door:
Lalu kepala pasukan pengawal itu menangkap Seraya, imam kepala, dan Zefanya, imam tingkat dua, dan ketiga orang penjaga pintu.
25 He took also out of the city a eunuch, who had the charge of the men of war; and seven men of them that were near the king's person, who were found in the city; and the principal scribe of the host, who mustered the people of the land; and sixty men of the people of the land, that were found in the midst of the city.
Dari kota itu ditangkapnya seorang pegawai istana yang diangkat mengepalai prajurit-prajurit dan tujuh orang pelayan pribadi raja yang terdapat di kota itu, dan panitera panglima tentara yang mengerahkan rakyat negeri menjadi tentara, dan enam puluh orang dari rakyat negeri yang terdapat di tengah-tengah kota itu.
26 So Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah.
Nebuzaradan, kepala pasukan pengawal, menangkap mereka dan membawa mereka kepada raja Babel, di Ribla.
27 And the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to death in Riblah, in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of his own land.
Lalu raja Babel menyuruh membunuh mereka di Ribla, di tanah Hamat. Demikianlah orang Yehuda diangkut ke dalam pembuangan dari tanahnya.
28 This [is] the people whom Nebuchadrezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year three thousand Jews and three and twenty:
Inilah jumlah rakyat yang diangkut ke dalam pembuangan oleh Nebuzaradan: dalam tahun ketujuh, tiga ribu dua puluh tiga orang Yehuda;
29 In the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar he carried away captive from Jerusalem eight hundred thirty and two persons:
dalam tahun kedelapan belas zaman Nebukadnezar, delapan ratus tiga puluh dua jiwa dari Yerusalem;
30 In the three and twentieth year of Nebuchadrezzar, Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the Jews seven hundred forty and five persons: all the persons [were] four thousand and six hundred.
dalam tahun kedua puluh tiga zaman Nebukadnezar, diangkut ke dalam pembuangan oleh Nebuzaradan, kepala pasukan pengawal, tujuh ratus empat puluh lima jiwa orang Yehuda; seluruhnya berjumlah empat ribu enam ratus jiwa.
31 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth [day] of the month, [that] Evil-merodach king of Babylon in the [first] year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him out of prison,
Kemudian dalam tahun ketiga puluh tujuh sesudah Yoyakhin, raja Yehuda, dibuang, dalam bulan yang kedua belas, pada tanggal dua puluh lima bulan itu, maka Ewil-Merodakh, raja Babel, dalam tahun ia menjadi raja, menunjukkan belas kasihannya kepada Yoyakhin, raja Yehuda, dengan melepaskannya dari penjara.
32 And spoke kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that [were] with him in Babylon,
Ewil-Merodakh berbicara baik-baik dengan dia dan memberikan kedudukan kepadanya lebih tinggi dari pada kedudukan raja-raja yang bersama-sama dengan dia di Babel.
33 And changed his prison garments: and he continually ate bread before him all the days of his life.
Yoyakhin boleh mengganti pakaian penjaranya dan boleh selalu makan roti di hadapan raja selama hidupnya.
34 And [for] his food there was a continual diet given him of the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.
Dan tentang belanjanya, raja Babel selalu memberikannya kepadanya, sekadar yang perlu tiap-tiap hari, selama hidupnya, sampai hari matinya.
