< Isaiah 43 >

1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called [thee] by thy name; thou [art] mine.
Ma ugbu a, nke a bụ ihe Onyenwe anyị kwuru, bụ onye kere gị, Jekọb, na onye kpụrụ gị Izrel, “Atụla egwu, nʼihi na agbapụtala m gị. Akpọọla m gị aha, ị bụkwa nke m.
2 When thou passest through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Mgbe ị si na mmiri dị omimi na-agafe, aga m anọnyere gị. Mgbe i si na mmiri nke na-ekwo oke okwukwo, agaghị m ekwe ka o bufuo gị. Mgbe ị na-eje ije nʼime ọkụ, ọ gaghị eregbu gị. Ire ọkụ ahụ agakwaghị erepịa gị.
3 For I [am] the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Savior: I gave Egypt [for] thy ransom, Cush and Seba for thee.
Nʼihi na mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị Chineke gị, Onye nzọpụta gị, na Onye nsọ nke Izrel. Ewerela m Ijipt na Kush na Seba nye ka ha bụrụ ihe i ji gbara onwe gị.
4 Since thou hast been precious in my sight, thou hast been honorable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
Ebe ị bụ ihe dị oke ọnụahịa nʼanya m, ebe ọ bụkwa na m hụrụ gị nʼanya, aga m ewere ndị mmadụ nye nʼihi ịgbapụta gị. Aga m ebibi ndụ ndị mmadụ nʼihi ichebe gị ndụ.
5 Fear not: for I [am] with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
Atụla egwu nʼihi na anọnyeere m gị. Aga m esite nʼọwụwa anyanwụ na nʼọdịda anyanwụ chịkọtaa ụmụ gị.
6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
Aga m enyekwa ugwu na ndịda iwu sị ha, ‘Hapụnụ ha ka ha laa, unu egbochikwala ha.’ Hapụnụ ndị m ka ha site nʼala niile dị anya nke nsọtụ ụwa lọghachi,
7 [Even] every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; verily, I have made him.
onye ọbụla nke a na-akpọ aha m, onye m kere nʼihi otuto m, onye m kpụrụ, ma meekwa.”
8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.
Kpọpụtanụ ha, bụ ndị ahụ nwere anya ma ha adịghị ahụ ụzọ, ndị nwere ntị ma ha adịghịkwa anụ ihe.
9 Let all the nations be collected, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and show us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, [It is] truth.
Mba niile dị iche iche ezukọtala, mmadụ niile agbakọtakwala. Onye nʼime chi ha kwuru na ihe dị otu a ga-eme, onye kwa kwuru ihe ndị a mere nʼoge gara aga? Ka ha kpọbata ndị akaebe ha izipụta na ihe ha kwuru ziri ezi, ka ndị ọzọ nụ ya ma sị na, “Ọ bụ eziokwu.”
10 Ye [are] my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I [am] he: before me there was no god formed, neither shall there be after me.
“Unu bụ ndị akaebe m,” ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara, “bụrụkwa ndị ohu m họpụtara, ka unu mara m, ma kwerekwa na m, ghọtakwa na Mụ onwe m bụ onye ahụ. Ọ dịghị chi a kpụrụ tupu m dịrị, ọ dịkwaghị nke ga-eso m nʼazụ.
11 I, [even] I, [am] the LORD; and besides me [there is] no savior.
Mụ, ọ bụ na naanị m, bụ Onyenwe anyị, ọ dịkwaghị onye nzọpụta ọzọ dị ma ewezuga m.
12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shown, when [there was] no strange [god] among you: therefore ye [are] my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I [am] God.
Mụ onwe m egosila, zọpụta ma kwupụtakwa ya, mee ka unu nụrụ ya, mụ onwe m, ọ bụghị chi ndị mba ọzọ nọ nʼetiti unu. Unu bụkwa ndị akaebe m, na mụ onwe bụ Chineke,” otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri ya.
13 Yes, before the day [was], I [am] he; and [there is] none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall hinder it?
“E, site nʼebighị ebi ruo nʼebighị ebi, mụ onwe m bụ Chineke. Ọ dịghị onye pụrụ ịnapụta m ihe m ji nʼaka. Mgbe m rụrụ ọrụ, onye pụrụ ịgbanwe ya?”
14 Thus saith the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry [is] in the ships.
Nke a bụ ihe Onyenwe anyị kwuru, Onye mgbapụta unu na Onye nsọ nke Izrel. “Nʼihi unu, aga m eziga ozi na Babilọn budata ndị Kaldịa niile dịka ndị gbapụrụ agbapụ, nʼime ụgbọ mmiri ahụ niile ha ji anya isi.
15 I [am] the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.
Mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị, Onye nsọ gị, onye kere Izrel, Eze unu.”
16 Thus saith the LORD, who maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru, bụ onye ahụ kwara ụzọ nʼime osimiri, nke mere ka okporoụzọ dịrị nʼime oke osimiri.
17 Who bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.
Nke na-eme ka ụgbọ ndị agha dị ukwuu, na ịnyịnya pụta, ndị agha na ụsụ ha achịkọtara ọnụ, mee ha ka ha dinaa nʼebe ahụ, ghara ibilitekwa ọzọ, dịka ha bụ ọkụ ogho oriọna e menyụrụ emenyụ.
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
“Chefuonu ihe ndị ahụ niile mere nʼoge gara aga; unu atụgharịkwala uche unu na ha.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, [and] rivers in the desert.
Kama leenụ anya ihe ọhụrụ nke m na-aga ime. Leenụ ya nʼihi na o bidolarị ịpụta ihe. Ọ ga-abụ na unu adịghị ahụ ya? Nʼihi na ana m akwa okporoụzọ nʼọzara, na-emekwa ka mmiri jupụta nʼala tọgbọrọ nʼefu.
20 The beast of the field shall honor me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, [and] rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.
Anụ ọhịa niile na-asọpụrụ m, nkịta ọhịa, na enyi nnụnụ niile na-ekele m, nʼihi na emeela m ka mmiri jupụta nʼọzara, meekwa ka isi iyi na-asọ nʼala ebe tọgbọrọ nʼefu, nye ndị nke m ihe ọṅụṅụ, bụ ndị m họpụtara.
21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my praise.
Ndị m kpụrụ nye onwe m, ka ha kọsaa akụkọ otuto m.
22 But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.
“Ma unu akpọkughị m, Jekọb, kama ihe banyere m agwụla gị ike, Izrel.
23 Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt-offerings; neither hast thou honored me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.
I kpụrụghị atụrụ wetara m maka aja nsure ọkụ, maọbụ jiri aja niile sọpụrụ m. O nweghị mgbe m kwagidere gị ka i wetara m onyinye mkpụrụ ọka, maọbụ mee ka ike gwụ gị site nʼịna gị ụda na-esi isi ụtọ.
24 Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thy iniquities.
Unu ewetabereghị m ụda kalamus na-esi isi ụtọ, maọbụ were abụba anụ nke aja unu niile mee ka obi tọọ m ụtọ. Kama ọ bụ naanị mmehie unu ka unu na-ebokwasị m, unu ejirila ajọ omume unu mee ka ike gwụsịa m.
25 I, [even] I, [am] he that blotteth out thy transgressions for my own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
“Mụ onwe m, ọ bụ naanị mụ onwe m, bụ onye na-ehichapụ mmehie unu. Ana m emekwa ya nʼihi na ọ dị m mma nʼobi ime ya. Agakwaghị m echeta mmehie unu ọzọ.
26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.
Chetara m ihe gara aga, ka anyị rụrịta ụka nʼetiti onwe anyị, doo okwu gị nʼusoro igosi na ị bụ onye ikpe na-amaghị.
27 Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.
Site na mmalite, nna nna unu ha mehiere megide m. Ndị m dunyere ka ha kuziere unu ihe nupukwara isi megide m.
28 Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.
Ya mere, m ji menye ndị a maara aha ha nʼụlọnsọ ihere. Enyefere m Jekọb ka ọ bụrụ onye ewezugara nye mbibi, nyekwa Izrel ka ọ bụrụ ihe mkparị.
