Isaiah 23
1 The burden of Tyre. Howl, ye ships of Tarshish; for it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in: from the land of Chittim it is revealed to them.
ಟೈರಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆ: ತಾರ್ಷೀಷಿನ ಹಡಗುಗಳೇ, ಗೋಳಾಡಿರಿ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಟೈರ್ ಹಾಳಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಮನೆಯಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಬಂದರವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ಕಿತ್ತೀಮ್ ದೇಶದವರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು.
2 Be still, ye inhabitants of the isle; thou whom the merchants of Zidon, that pass over the sea, have replenished.
ದ್ವೀಪಗಳ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ದಾಟುವ ಸೀದೋನಿನ ವರ್ತಕರಿಂದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವರೇ ಮೌನವಾಗಿರಿ.
3 And by great waters the seed of Sihor, the harvest of the river, [is] her revenue; and she is a mart of nations.
ಪ್ರವಾಹದಿಂದ ಶೀಹೋರಿನ ಧಾನ್ಯವೂ, ನೈಲ್ ನದಿಯ ಸುಗ್ಗಿಯೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆದಾಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅನೇಕ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
4 Be thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath spoken, [even] the strength of the sea, saying, I travail not, nor bring forth children, neither do I nourish young men, [nor] bring up virgins.
ಸೀದೋನೇ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಕೋಟೆಯೇ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇದೇ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಘೋಷಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ: “ನಾವು ಪ್ರಸವವೇದನೆ ಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಹೆರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಪುತ್ರಪುತ್ರಿಯರನ್ನು ಸಾಕಿ ಸಲಹುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,”
5 As at the report concerning Egypt, [so] shall they be sorely pained at the report of Tyre.
ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಆದ ಹಾಗೆ ಟೈರಿನ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ವೇದನೆ ಪಡುವರು.
6 Pass ye over to Tarshish; howl, ye inhabitants of the isle.
ತಾರ್ಷೀಷಿಗೆ ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗಿರಿ, ದ್ವೀಪ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ ಗೋಳಾಡಿರಿ.
7 [Is] this your joyous [city], whose antiquity [is] of ancient days? her own feet shall carry her far off to sojourn.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವೂ, ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದ ಹಳೆಯ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಿಂದ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೂ ಇದೆಯೋ? ಅವಳ ಸ್ವಂತ ಕಾಲುಗಳು ಅದನ್ನು ದೂರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿವಾಸಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವವು.
8 Who hath taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning [city], whose merchants [are] princes, whose traders [are] the honorable of the earth?
ಅದು ಕಿರೀಟದಾಯಕವಾದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು. ಅದರ ವರ್ತಕರಾದ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು, ಅದರ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಗಳು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಘನವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಂಥ ಟೈರಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಈ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿದವರು ಯಾರು?
9 The LORD of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, [and] to bring into contempt all the honorable of the earth.
ಗರ್ವದ ಸಕಲ ವೈಭವವನ್ನು ಹೊಲಸು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂತಲೂ, ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಘನವುಳ್ಳವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನಪಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂತಲೂ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ ಹೀಗೆ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
10 Pass through thy land as a river, O daughter of Tarshish: [there is] no more strength.
ತಾರ್ಷೀಷಿನ ಮಗಳೇ, ನೈಲ್ ನದಿಯಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾದುಹೋಗು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಡೆಯುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
11 He stretched his hand over the sea, he shook the kingdoms: the LORD hath given a commandment against the merchant [city], to destroy its strong holds.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡುಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವರು ವ್ಯಾಪಾರದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕಾನಾನಿನ ದುರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
12 And he said, Thou shalt no more rejoice, O thou oppressed virgin, daughter of Zidon: arise, pass over to Chittim; there also shalt thou have no rest.
“ಹಿಂಸೆಗೆ ಈಡಾದ ಕನ್ಯೆಯಂತಿರುವ ಸೀದೋನ್ ನಗರಿಯೇ, ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂತೃಪ್ತಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. “ಎದ್ದು, ಕಿತ್ತೀಮಿಗೆ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾದುಹೋಗು. ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿನಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಇರದು.”
13 Behold the land of the Chaldeans; this people was not, [till] the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the wilderness: they set up its towers, they raised up its palaces; [and] he brought it to ruin.
ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ದೇಶವು! ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯದವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಈಡು ಮಾಡುವ ತನಕ ಈ ಜನರು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಗೋಪುರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರು ಅದರ ಅರಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
14 Howl, ye ships of Tarshish: for your strength is laid waste.
ತಾರ್ಷೀಷಿನ ಹಡಗುಗಳೇ, ಗೋಳಾಡಿರಿ! ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಶ್ರಯಸ್ಥಾನವು ಹಾಳಾಯಿತು, ಎಂದು ಆತನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
15 And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years shall Tyre sing as a harlot.
ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಟೈರ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಒಬ್ಬ ಅರಸನ ದಿವಸಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷಗಳ ತನಕ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾರದೆ ಇರುವುದು. ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಟೈರ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ವೇಶ್ಯೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ಈ ಗೀತೆಯ ಹಾಗಾಗುವುದು:
16 Take a harp, go about the city, thou harlot that hast been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou mayest be remembered.
“ಮರೆತುಹೋದ ವೇಶ್ಯೆಯೇ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ. ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆಯುತ್ತಾ ನೀನು ನೆನಪಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ನುಡಿಸಿ, ಬಹಳ ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡು.”
17 And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.
ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಟೈರನ್ನು ಪರಾಮರಿಸುವರು. ಅದು ತನ್ನ ಆದಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಭೂಲೋಕದವರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಮಾಡುವುದು.
18 And her merchandise and her hire shall be holiness to the LORD: it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise shall be for them that dwell before the LORD, for sufficient food, and for durable clothing.
ಆದರೆ ಅವಳ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರವೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳ ಆದಾಯವೂ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕದೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾಗುವುದು. ಅವಳ ಆದಾಯವು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವರೆಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು ಅನ್ನವನ್ನೂ, ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಉಡುಪನ್ನೂ ಒದಗಿಸಲು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವುದು.
