ಕೇನಾನ್, ಮಹಲಲೇಲ್ ಯೆರೆದ್,
3 Henoch, Methuselah, Lamech,
ಹನೋಕ್, ಮೆತೂಷೆಲಹ, ಲೆಮೆಕ್, ನೋಹ.
4 Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
ನೋಹನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ಶೇಮ್, ಹಾಮ್, ಯೆಫೆತ್.
5 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
ಯೆಫೆತನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಗೋಮೆರ್, ಮಾಗೋಗ್, ಮಾದಯ್, ಯಾವಾನ್, ತೂಬಲ್, ಮೆಷೆಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ತೀರಾಸ್.
6 And the sons of Gomer; Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
ಗೋಮೆರನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಅಷ್ಕೆನಜ್, ರೀಫತ್, ತೋಗರ್ಮ.
7 And the sons of Javan; Elisha, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
ಯಾವಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ಎಲೀಷಾ, ತಾರ್ಷೀಷ್, ಕಿತ್ತೀಮ್, ದೋದಾನೀಮ್.
8 The sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
ಹಾಮನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಕೂಷ್, ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್, ಪೂಟ್, ಕಾನಾನ್.
9 And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
ಕೂಷನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಸೆಬ, ಹವೀಲ, ಸಬ್ತಾ, ರಾಮ, ಸಬ್ತೆಕ. ರಾಮನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಶೆಬಾ ಮತ್ತು ದೆದಾನ್.
10 And Cush begat Nimrod. He began to be mighty upon the earth.
ಕೂಷನು ನಿಮ್ರೋದನ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು, ಇವನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ಯುದ್ಧವೀರನಾದನು.
11 And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
ಈಜಿಪ್ಟನವರಿಂದ, ಲೂದ್ಯರು, ಅನಾಮ್ಯರು, ಲೆಹಾಬ್ಯರು, ನಫ್ತುಹ್ಯರು,
12 And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines, ) and Caphthorim.
ಪತ್ರುಸ್ಯರು, ಕಸ್ಲುಹ್ಯರು, ಕಫ್ತೋರ್ಯರು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಕಸ್ಲುಹ್ಯರಿಂದ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಬಂದವರು.
13 And Canaan begat Zidon his first-born, and Heth,
ಕಾನಾನ್ ವಂಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನು ಸೀದೋನ್, ಆಮೇಲೆ ಹೇತನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
14 The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯರು, ಅಮೋರಿಯರು, ಗಿರ್ಗಾಷಿಯರು,
15 And the Hivite, and the Archite, and the Sinite,
ಹಿವ್ವಿಯರು, ಅರ್ಕಿಯರು, ಸೀನಿಯರು,
16 And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
ಅರ್ವಾದಿಯರು, ಚೆಮಾರಿಯರು, ಹಮಾತಿಯರು, ಕಾನಾನನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
17 The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
ಶೇಮನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಏಲಾಮ್, ಅಶ್ಯೂರ್, ಅರ್ಪಕ್ಷದ್, ಲೂದ್, ಅರಾಮ್, ಅರಾಮನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಊಚ್, ಹೂಲ್, ಗೆತೆರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮೆಷೆಕ್.
18 And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
ಅರ್ಪಕ್ಷದ್ ಶೆಲಹನ ತಂದೆ; ಶೆಲಹ ಏಬೆರನ ತಂದೆ.
19 And to Eber were born two sons: the name of the one [was] Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name [was] Joktan.
ಏಬೆರನಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಪುತ್ರರು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಪೆಲೆಗ್ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಡಲಾಯಿತು, ಅವನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿಯ ಜನರು ವಿಭಾಗವಾದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ಹೆಸರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿತು. ಅವನ ತಮ್ಮನ ಹೆಸರು ಯೊಕ್ತಾನ್.
20 And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
ಯೊಕ್ತಾನನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು: ಅಲ್ಮೋದಾದ್, ಶೆಲೆಪ್, ಹಜರ್ಮಾವೆತ್, ಯೆರಹ,
21 Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,
ಹದೋರಾಮ್, ಊಜಾಲ್, ದಿಕ್ಲಾ,
22 And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
ಏಬಾಲ್, ಅಬೀಮಯೇಲ್, ಶೆಬಾ,
23 And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these [were] the sons of Joktan.
ಓಫೀರ್, ಹವೀಲಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಯೋಬಾಬ್ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೊಕ್ತಾನನ ಪುತ್ರರು.
24 Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,
ಶೇಮನಿಂದ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನವರೆಗಿನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರು ಇವರು. ಅರ್ಪಕ್ಷದ್, ಶೆಲಹ,
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,
ಏಬೆರ್, ಪೆಲೆಗ್, ರೆಗೂ,
26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,
ಸೆರೂಗ್, ನಾಹೋರ್, ತೆರಹ,
27 Abram; the same [is] Abraham.
ಅಬ್ರಾಮ್ ಇವನು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರು ಹೊಂದಿದವನು.
28 The sons of Abraham; Isaac, and Ishmael.
ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ಇಸಾಕ ಮತ್ತು ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲ್.
29 These [are] their generations. The first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದರು. ಅವರು ನೆಬಾಯೋತ್, ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನ ಹಿರೀಮಗನಿಂದ ಈ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿ, ಕೇದಾರ್, ಅದ್ಬೆಯೇಲ್, ಮಿಬ್ಸಾಮ್,
30 Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
ಮಿಷ್ಮಾ, ದೂಮಾ, ಮಸ್ಸಾ, ಹದದ್, ತೇಮ,
31 Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.
ಯೆಟೂರ್, ನಾಫೀಷ್, ಕೇದೆಮ. ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನ ಸಂತಾನದವರು ಇವರೇ.
32 Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan; Sheba, and Dedan.
ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ಕೆಟೂರಳೆಂಬ ಉಪಪತ್ನಿ ಇದ್ದಳು. ಅವಳಿಂದ ಜಿಮ್ರಾನ್, ಯೊಕ್ಷಾನ್, ಮೆದಾನ್, ಮಿದ್ಯಾನ್, ಇಷ್ಬಾಕ್, ಶೂಹ ಎಂಬ ಆರು ಜನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಜನಿಸಿದರು. ಯೊಕ್ಷಾನನಿಗೆ ಶೆಬಾ ಮತ್ತು ದೆದಾನ್ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
33 And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these [are] the sons of Keturah,
ಮಿದ್ಯಾನನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಏಫಾ, ಏಫೆರ್, ಹನೋಕ್, ಅಬೀದ, ಎಲ್ದಾಯ. ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೆಟೂರಳ ಸಂತತಿಯವರು.
34 And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac; Esau and Israel.
ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಸಾರಳಿಂದ ಇಸಾಕನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು. ಇಸಾಕನಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಏಸಾವ ಮತ್ತು ಯಾಕೋಬ.
35 The sons of Esau; Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
ಏಸಾವನ ಪುತ್ರರು ಎಲೀಫಜ್, ರೆಯೂವೇಲ, ಯೆಯೂಷ್, ಯಳಾಮ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೋರಹ ಎಂಬವರು.
36 The sons of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
ಎಲೀಫಜನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತೇಮಾನ್, ಓಮಾರ್, ಚೆಫೀ, ಗತಾಮ್, ಕೆನಜ್; ತಿಮ್ನಾ ಅವಳಿಂದ ಜನಿಸಿದ ಅಮಾಲೇಕ್ ಎಂಬವರು.
37 The sons of Reuel; Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
ರೆಯೂವೇಲನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನಹತ್, ಜೆರಹ, ಶಮ್ಮಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿಜ್ಜಾ ಎಂಬವರು.
38 And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezar, and Dishan.
ಈ ಕೆಳಗೆ ನಮೂದಿಸಿದ ಎದೋಮಿನ ಮೂಲ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಸೇಯೀರನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರು ಲೋಟಾನ್, ಶೋಬಾಲ್, ಸಿಬೆಯೋನ್, ಅನಾಹ, ದೀಶೋನ್, ಏಚೆರ್, ದೀಶಾನ್.
39 And the sons of Lotan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna [was] Lotan's sister.
ಲೋಟಾನನ ಪುತ್ರರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ: ಹೋರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹೋಮಾಮ್. ಲೋಟಾನನಿಗೆ ತಿಮ್ನಾ ಎಂಬ ಸಹೋದರಿ ಇದ್ದಳು.
40 The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.
ಶೋಬಾಲನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ: ಅಲ್ವಾನ್, ಮಾನಹತ್, ಏಬಾಲ್, ಶೆಫೋ ಮತ್ತು ಓನಾಮ್. ಸಿಬೆಯೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅಯ್ಯಾಹ ಮತ್ತು ಅನಾಹ ಎಂಬುವರು.
41 The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
ಅನಾಹನ ಮಗನು ದೀಶೋನ್. ದೀಶೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ: ಹಮ್ರಾನ್, ಎಷ್ಬಾನ್, ಇತ್ರಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆರಾನ್.
42 The sons of Ezer; Bilhan, and Zavan, [and] Jakan. The sons of Dishan; Uz, and Aran.
ಏಚೆರನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ: ಬಿಲ್ಹಾನ್, ಜಾವಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆಕಾನ್. ದೀಶಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ: ಊಚ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅರಾನ್.
43 Now these [are] the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before [any] king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city [was] Dinhabah.
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಯಾವ ಅರಸನೂ ಆಳುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಎದೋಮ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳಿದ ಅರಸರು ಇವರೇ: ಬೆಯೋರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೆಲಗನು; ಅವನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹೆಸರು ದಿನ್ಹಾಬಾ.
44 And when Bela was dead Jobab the son of Zera of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
ಬೆಲಗನ ಮರಣದ ನಂತರ ಅವನ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಬೊಚ್ರದವನಾದ ಜೆರಹನ ಮಗ ಯೋಬಾಬನು ಉತ್ತರಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾದನು.
45 And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
ಯೋಬಾಬನ ಮರಣದ ನಂತರ ಅವನ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ತೇಮಾನೀಯರ ದೇಶದ ಹುಷಾಮನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.
46 And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city [was] Avith.
ಹುಷಾಮನ ಮರಣದ ನಂತರ ಅವೀತದ ಬೆದದನ ಮಗ ಹದದ ಅರಸನಾದನು. ಇವನು ಮೋವಾಬ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿದ್ಯಾನರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿದ; ಅವನ ರಾಜಧಾನಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಅವೀತ್.
47 And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
ಹದದ ಮೃತನಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಮಸ್ರೇಕದವನಾದ ಸಮ್ಲಾಹನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.
48 And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.
ಸಮ್ಲಾಹನ ಮರಣದ ನಂತರ ಅವನ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಯೂಫ್ರೇಟೀಸ್ ನದಿತೀರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರೆಹೋಬೋತ್ ಊರಿನ ಸೌಲನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.
49 And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
ಸೌಲನು ಮೃತನಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಕ್ಬೋರನ ಮಗ ಬಾಳ್ ಹಾನಾನ್ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
50 And when Baal-hanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city [was] Pai; and his wife's name [was] Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
ಬಾಳ್ ಹಾನಾನನು ಮೃತನಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಹದದನು ಆಳಿದನು. ಅವನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹೆಸರು ಪಾವು. ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಮೆಹೇಟಬೇಲ್. ಈಕೆಯು ಮೇಜಾಹಾಬನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಮಟ್ರೇದಳ ಮಗಳು.
51 Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timna, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,
ಹದದನು ಮೃತನಾದನು. ಎದೋಮ್ಯರ ಮುಖಂಡರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು ಯಾವುವೆಂದರೆ: ತಿಮ್ನಾ, ಅಲ್ವಾ, ಯೆತೇತ,
52 Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
ಒಹೊಲೀಬಾಮ, ಏಲಾ, ಪೀನೋನ್
53 Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
ಕೆನಜ್, ತೇಮಾನ್, ಮಿಬ್ಜಾರ,
54 Duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These [are] the dukes of Edom.
ಮಗ್ದೀಯೇಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಗೀರಾಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಎದೋಮ್ಯರ ಮುಖಂಡರು.
