< James 1 >

1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes who are scattered abroad, greeting.
Yakobo mutugwa wang'wi Tunda nu mukolo u Yesu Kilisto, kundugu makumi abiile nasapatiye milamu.
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into various temptations;
Muale kutula ulowa nuwidu, aluna ane, nimukukiila munzago niyakununikunu.
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Meze mulingile kugeng'wa kuuhueli wanyu mepegwaugimya.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
Uleki, ugimya ukondye imilimo akwe, kina mulume kunonelya kisa, singa muuleke kuhielwa lehi.
5 If any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given to him.
Kang'we ukole muntu ntogeela anyu utakile upolo, walompe kupuma kung'wi Tunda, nuepumya kuukende hangi singa wikenela kuehi niimulompa hangi wiapeza upolo.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Ingi lompa kuuhueli, uleke kuailya, kunsoko nuiiailya, wipyanigwe nimaingu nenyanza wiholwa nung'wega nukugung'wa kunu nukunu.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing from the Lord.
Kutai umuntu angauyu waleke kusegeela kina ilompi lakwe lukusingeligwa nu mukulu.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Muntu uyu ukete masigo abiili, singa ukandanie munzila yakwe yehi.
9 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:
Muluna numuluna inonee kikulya kunsoko akimekakung'wakwe migulia,
10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.
matungo yayoyayo muluna numugole kukiila kisimia kung'wakwe, kunsoko wikahega anga umpumbulu nuamung'wapo mumugunda nukeile.
11 For the sun hath no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and its flower falleth, and the grace of its fashion perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.
Ilyoa litoloka nuupiu wikasonsa nukumisa mimea niampumbulu igweza nuuza wakwe wikuza. Uu uu niantu niagoli izizebipa mumilimo.
12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Ukembetilwe umuntu numugimia mumageng'wa kunsoko anga wadula ingegwa wikasingilia ngala naupanga, naulagile kuawa niamuloilwe Itunda.
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted by God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
Muntu wihi shainonee kutambula nukole migeng'wa, ingegwa ile lipumile kung'wi Tunda. Kunsoko Itunda shanga wigeng'wa nimabe, ni Tunda ung'wenso shawimugema wihi.
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.
Kila muntu wigeng'wa ninsulakwe nimupepelya nukumuluta kupumila kuli.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Papo anga insula amilandu ikenke iimbi, umulandu wituga sunga anga umulandu anga wakonda lukukulu wihiela muusha.
16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
Aluna ane alowa lekikikongi.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Kela izawadi niiza hange kela izawadi nikondanie kupuma kilunde, isima pehi kupuma kung'wa kung'wa Tata nuawelu, kwee shawikailika anga umulule nuipeloka.
18 Of his own will he hath begotten us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
Itunda ausague kuupa use upanga kulukani la tai, kuhume kutula anga kiang'wandyo kuutugwa muintu yakwe.
19 Therefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
Mulengile ite aluna ane alowa. Kela ung'wao yemunonee watule mupepelyi kija, waleke kukaya kuligitia nukutaka.
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
Kunsoko utaki waantu shangaukituma itai ang'wi Tunda.
21 Therefore put away all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
Kuitegwa iki kule impaala yamilandu nuubi wehinuukole kila upande lusingilyi kwa kusima ulukani nulutemewe mukateanyu uhumi kuuguna inkolo yanyu.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Lugombi ulukani muleke ukija du, mukikongela munkolo yangu unyenye.
23 For if any is a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like a man beholding his natural face in a mirror:
Kunsoko wehi nukija, wahite kulitumila umilimo wihanganga umuntu nuwigoza uusu wakwe uwenso mukioo.
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth away, and immediately forgetteth what manner of man he was.
Wegema uusu wakwe, wekalongola matungo makupe wakiwaa neimpyani.
25 But he who looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth in it, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Inge umuntu uyu nuigoza kikendegeela milago nilikami nseigwe, ilago lawidesi, nukulongoleka kugomba, singa kunsoka noanso miji nuewa, umuntu nuanso ukukembetwa nukituma.
26 If any man among you seemeth to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.
Anga umuntu wihi wakusige ung'wenso kuite muntu wikumbiko. Hangi shuzepeeye ululime lakwe wikongela inkolo akwe nikumbeko lakwe nikanda.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Ikumbiko niza nigila uubee ntongela ang'wi Tunda witu nu Tata ingi sile. Kuaailya ialekwa nao niashewe niagoha ao mulwago lao, nukisunga ienso nuube wihi.
