Psalms 76
1 For the chief musician, on stringed instruments. A psalm of Asaph, a song. God has made himself known in Judah; his name is great in Israel.
Para el músico jefe. Con instrumentos de cuerda. Un salmo de Asaf. Una canción. En Judá, Dios es conocido. Su nombre es grande en Israel.
2 His tent is in Salem; his dwelling place is in Zion.
Su tabernáculo está también en Salem. Su morada en Sión.
3 There he broke the arrows of the bow, the shield, the sword, and the other weapons of war. (Selah)

4 You shine brightly and reveal your glory, as you descend from the mountains, where you killed your victims.
Glorioso eres, y excelente, más que montañas de caza.
5 The bravehearted were plundered; they fell asleep. All the warriors were helpless.

6 At your rebuke, God of Jacob, both rider and horse fell asleep.

7 You, yes you, are to be feared; who can stand in your sight when you are angry?

8 From heaven you made your judgment heard; the earth was afraid and silent

9 when you, God, arose to execute judgment and to save all the oppressed of the earth. (Selah)

10 Surely your angry judgment against humanity will bring you praise; you gird yourself with what is left of your anger.

11 Make vows to Yahweh your God and keep them. May all who surround him bring gifts to him who is to be feared.
¡Haz votos a Yahvé, tu Dios, y cúmplelos! Que todos sus vecinos le traigan regalos a quien debe ser temido.
12 He cuts off the spirit of the princes; he is feared by the kings of the earth.
