Nehemiah 3

1 Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brother priests, and they built the Sheep Gate. They consecrated it and set its doors in place. They consecrated it as far as the Tower of the Hundred and as far as the Tower of Hananel.

௧அப்பொழுது பிரதான ஆசாரியனாகிய எலியாசிபும், அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களாகிய ஆசாரியர்களும் எழுந்து, ஆட்டுவாசலைக் கட்டினார்கள்; அதைக் கட்டி, அவர்கள் பிரதிஷ்டைசெய்து, அதின் கதவுகளை வைத்து, நூறு என்கிற கோபுரம்முதல் அனானெயேலின் கோபுரம்வரைக் கட்டிப் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்தார்கள்.

2 Next to him the men of Jericho worked, and next to them Zaccur son of Imri worked.

௨அவன் அருகே எரிகோவின் மனிதர்கள் கட்டினார்கள்; அவர்கள் அருகே இம்ரியின் மகனாகிய சக்கூர் கட்டினான்.

3 The sons of Hassenaah built the Fish Gate. They made beams for it, and set its doors, its bolts, and its bars.

௩மீன்வாசலை அசெனாவின் மகன்கள் கட்டினார்கள்; அதற்கு உத்திரம் வைத்து, அதற்குக் கதவுகளையும் பூட்டுக்களையும் தாழ்ப்பாள்களையும் போட்டார்கள்.

4 Meremoth repaired the next section. He is the son of Uriah son of Hakkoz. Next to them Meshullam repaired. He is the son of Berechiah son of Meshezabel. Next to them Zadok repaired. He is the son of Baana.

௪அவர்கள் அருகே கோசின் மகனாகிய உரியாவின் மகன் மெரெமோத் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்; அவர்கள் அருகில் மெஷேசாபெயேலின் மகனாகிய பெரகியாவின் மகன் மெசுல்லாம் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்; அவர்கள் அருகே பானாவின் மகனாகிய சாதோக் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்.

5 Next to them the Tekoites repaired, but their leaders refused to do the work ordered by their supervisors.

௫அவர்கள் அருகே தெக்கோவா ஊரைச்சேர்ந்தவர்கள் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய தலைவர்களோ, தங்கள் ஆண்டவருடைய வேலைக்குத் தங்களுடைய பங்கை செய்யவில்லை.

6 Joiada son of Paseah and Meshullam son of Besodeiah repaired the Old Gate. They made beams for it, and set its doors, its bolts, and its bars.

௬பழைய வாசலைப் பசெயாகின் மகனாகிய யோய்தாவும், பேசோதியாவின் மகனாகிய மெசுல்லாமும் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினார்கள்; அவர்கள் அதற்கு உத்திரம் வைத்து, அதற்குக் கதவுகளையும் பூட்டுகளையும் தாழ்ப்பாள்களையும் போட்டார்கள்.

7 Next to them Melatiah the Gibeonite and Jadon the Meronothite, who were men from Gibeon and Mizpah, made repairs on the portion where the governor of the Province Beyond the River lived.

௭அவர்கள் அருகே கிபியோன் மிஸ்பா ஊர்களின் மனிதர்களின் மெலதீயா என்னும் கிபியோனியனும், யாதோன் என்னும் மெரோனோத்தியனும், நதிக்கு மறுபுறத்திலிருக்கிற அதிபதியின் மாகாணம்வரை பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினார்கள்.

8 Next to him Uzziel son of Harhaiah, one of the goldsmiths, repaired, and next to him was Hananiah, a maker of perfumes. They rebuilt Jerusalem as far as the Broad Wall.

௮அவர்கள் அருகே பொற்கொல்லர்களில் ஒருவனாகிய அராயாவின் மகன் ஊசியேல் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்; அவன் அருகே வாசனைத்திரவியம் தயாரிக்கிறவனின் மகனாகிய அனனியா பழுதுபார்த்துக்கட்டினான்; அதுமுதல் அகலமான மதில்வரை எருசலேம் இடிக்காமல் விடப்பட்டிருந்தது.

9 Next to them Rephaiah son of Hur repaired. He was the ruler of half the district of Jerusalem.

௯அவர்கள் அருகே எருசலேம் பட்டணத்தின் பாதியை ஆட்சி செய்யும் ஊரின் மகன் ரெப்பாயா பழுதுபார்த்துக்கட்டினான்.

10 Next to them Jedaiah son of Harumaph repaired next to his house. Next to him Hattush son of Hashabneiah repaired.

௧0அவர்கள் அருகே அருமாப்பின் மகன் யெதாயா தன்னுடைய வீட்டுக்கு எதிரில் உள்ள பகுதியைப் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்; அவன் அருகே ஆசாப்நெயாவின் மகன் அத்தூஸ் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்.

11 Malchijah son of Harim and Hasshub son of Pahath-Moab repaired another section along with the Tower of the Ovens.

௧௧மற்றப் பகுதியையும், சூளைகளின் கோபுரத்தையும், ஆரீமின் மகன் மல்கிஜாவும், பாகாத்மோவாபின் மகன் அசூபும் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினார்கள்.

12 Next to them Shallum son of Hallohesh, the ruler of half the district of Jerusalem, repaired, along with his daughters.

௧௨அவன் அருகே எருசலேம் பட்டணத்தின் மறுபாதியை ஆட்சி செய்யும் அல்லோகேசின் மகன் சல்லூமும், அவனுடைய மகள்களும் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினார்கள்.

13 Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah repaired the Valley Gate. They rebuilt it and set its doors, its bolts, and its bars. They repaired a thousand cubits as far as the Dung Gate.

௧௩பள்ளத்தாக்கின்வாசலை ஆனூனும், சானோவாகின் மக்களும் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினார்கள்; அவர்கள் அதைக் கட்டி, அதற்குக் கதவுகளையும் பூட்டுகளையும் தாழ்ப்பாள்களையும் போட்டு, குப்பைமேட்டு வாசல்வரையும் மதிலில் ஆயிரம் முழம் கட்டினார்கள்.

14 Malchijah son of Recab, the ruler of the district of Beth Hakkerem, repaired the Dung Gate. He built it and set its doors, its bolts, and its bars.

௧௪குப்பைமேட்டுவாசலைப் பெத்கேரேமின் மாகாணத்தை ஆட்சி செய்யும் ரெக்காவின் மகன் மல்கியா பழுதுபார்த்து, அதைக் கட்டி, அதற்குக் கதவுகளையும் பூட்டுகளையும் தாழ்ப்பாள்களையும் போட்டான்.

15 Shallun son of Kol-Hozeh, the ruler of the district of Mizpah, rebuilt the Fountain Gate. He built it, and put a cover on it and set its doors, its bolts, and its bars. He also rebuilt the wall of the Pool of Siloam by the king's garden, as far as the stairs leading down from the city of David.

௧௫ஊற்றுவாசலை மிஸ்பாவின் மாகாணத்தை ஆட்சி செய்யும் கொல்லோசேயின் மகன் சல்லூம் பழுதுபார்த்து, அதைக் கட்டி, கூரையமைத்து, அதற்குக் கதவுகளையும் பூட்டுகளையும் தாழ்ப்பாள்களையும் போட்டு, ராஜாவின் தோட்டத்தின் அருகிலிருக்கிற சீலோவாவின் குளத்து மதிலையும், தாவீதின் நகரத்திலிருந்து இறங்குகிற படிகள்வரை இருக்கிறதையும் கட்டினான்.

16 Nehemiah son of Azbuk, the ruler of half the district of Beth Zur, repaired to the place across from the tombs of David, to the man-made pool, and to the house of the mighty men.

௧௬அவனுக்குப் பின்னாகப் பெத்சூர் மாகாணத்தின் பாதியை ஆட்சி செய்த அஸ்பூகின் மகன் நெகேமியா தாவீதின் கல்லறைகளுக்கு எதிரான இடம்வரைக்கும், வெட்டப்பட்ட குளம்வரைக்கும், பலசாலிகளின் வீடுவரைக்கும் இருக்கிறதைப் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்.

17 After him the Levites repaired, including Rehum son of Bani and next to him, Hashabiah, the ruler of half the district of Keilah, for his district.

௧௭அவனுக்குப் பின்னாக லேவியர்களில் பானியின் மகன் ரேகூமும், அவன் அருகே கேகிலா மாகாணத்தில் தன்னுடைய பாதிப்பங்கை ஆட்சி செய்யும் அஷபியாவும் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினார்கள்.

18 After him their countrymen repaired, including Binnui son of Henadad, the ruler of half the district of Keilah.

௧௮அவனுக்குப் பிறகு அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களில் கேகிலா மாகாணத்து மறுபாதியை ஆட்சி செய்யும் எனாதாதின் மகன் பாபாயி பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்.

19 Next to him, Ezer son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, repaired another section that faced the ascent to the armory at the corner of the wall.

௧௯அவன் அருகே மிஸ்பாவை ஆட்சி செய்யும் யெசுவாவின் மகன் ஏசர் என்பவன் மதிலின் கடைசிமுனையிலே ஆயுதசாலையின் படிகளுக்கு எதிரேயிருக்கிற வேறொரு பகுதியை பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்.

20 After him Baruch son of Zabbai devotedly repaired another section, from the corner of the wall to the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.

௨0அவனுக்குப் பின்னாகச் சாபாயின் மகன் பாரூக் அந்தக் கடைசிமுனையிலிருந்து பிரதான ஆசாரியனாகிய எலியாசிபின் வாசற்படிவரை இருக்கிற பின்னொரு பகுதியை மிக கவனமாக பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்.

21 After him Meremoth son of Uriah son of Hakkoz repaired another section, from the door of the house of Eliashib to the end of the house of Eliashib.

௨௧அவனுக்குப் பிறகு கோசின் மகனாகிய உரியாவின் மகன் மெரெமோத் எலியாசிபின் வீட்டு வாசற்படியிலிருந்து அவனுடைய வீட்டின் கடைசிமுனைவரை இருக்கிற பின்னொரு பங்கைப் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்.

22 Next to him the priests, the men from the area around Jerusalem, repaired.

௨௨அவனுக்குப் பிறகு சமபூமியில் தங்கியிருக்கிற ஆசாரியர்கள் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினார்கள்.

23 After them Benjamin and Hasshub repaired opposite their own house. After them Azariah son of Maaseiah son of Ananiah repaired next to his own house.

௨௩அவர்களுக்குப் பிறகு பென்யமீனும், அசூபும் தங்களுடைய வீட்டுக்கு எதிரே இருக்கிறதைப் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினார்கள்; அவர்களுக்குப் பிறகு அனனியாவின் மகனாகிய மாசேயாவின் மகன் அசரியா தன்னுடைய வீட்டின் அருகே இருக்கிறதைப் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்.

24 After him Binnui son of Henadad repaired another section, from the house of Azariah to the corner of the wall.

௨௪அவனுக்குப் பின்னாக எனாதாதின் மகன் பின்னூயி அசரியாவின் வீடுமுதல் மதிலின் கடைசிமுனைவரை வளைவுவரைக்கும் இருக்கிற வேறொரு பகுதியைப் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்.

25 Palal son of Uzai repaired over against the corner of the wall and the tower that extends upward from the upper house of the king at the courtyard of the guard. After him Pedaiah son of Parosh repaired.

௨௫ஊசாயின் மகன் பாலால் வளைவுக்கு எதிரேயும், காவல் வீட்டின் வாசலில் ராஜாவின் உயரமான அரண்மனைக்கு வெளிப்புறமாயிருக்கிற கோபுரத்திற்கு எதிரேயும் இருக்கிறதைக் கட்டினான்; அவனுக்குப் பிறகு பாரோஷின் மகன் பெதாயாவும்,

26 Now the temple servants living in Ophel repaired to the point opposite the Water Gate on the east and the projecting tower.

௨௬ஓபேலிலே குடியிருக்கிற நிதனீமியர்களைச் சேர்ந்த மனிதர்களும் கிழக்கேயிருக்கிற தண்ணீர்வாசலுக்கு வெளிப்புறமான கோபுரத்திற்கு எதிரேயிருக்கிற இடம்வரை கட்டினார்கள்.

27 After him the Tekoites repaired another section that was opposite the great projecting tower as far as the wall of Ophel.

௨௭அவர்களுக்குப் பின்னாகத் தெக்கோவா ஊரைச்சேர்ந்தவர்கள் வெளிப்புறமான பெரிய கோபுரத்திற்கு எதிரே ஓபேலின் மதில்வரை இருக்கிற மற்றொரு பகுதியைப் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினார்கள்.

28 The priests repaired above the Horse Gate, each opposite his own house.

௨௮குதிரைவாசல் முதற்கொண்டு ஆசாரியர்கள் அவரவர் தங்களுடைய வீடுகளுக்கு எதிரே இருக்கிறதைப் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினார்கள்.

29 After them Zadok son of Immer repaired the section opposite his own house. Then after him Shemaiah son of Shecaniah, the keeper of the east gate, repaired.

௨௯அவர்களுக்குப் பிறகு இம்மேரின் மகன் சாதோக் தன்னுடைய வீட்டுக்கு எதிரே இருக்கிறதைப் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்; அவனுக்குப் பிறகு கிழக்குவாசலைக் காக்கிற செக்கனியாவின் மகன் செமாயா பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்.

30 After him Hananiah son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, repaired another section. After him Meshullam son of Berechiah repaired opposite his living chambers.

௩0அவனுக்குப் பிறகு செல்மீயாவின் மகன் அனனியாவும், சாலாபின் ஆறாவது மகனாகிய ஆனூனும், வேறொரு பகுதியைப் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினார்கள்; அவர்களுக்குப் பிறகு பெரகியாவின் மகன் மெசுல்லாம், தன்னுடைய அறைவீட்டுக்கு எதிரே இருக்கிறதைப் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்.

31 After him Malchijah, one of the goldsmiths, repaired to the house of the temple servants and the merchants that was opposite the Appointment Gate and the upper living chambers on the corner.

௩௧அவனுக்குப் பிறகு பொற்கொல்லனின் மகன் மல்கியா மிப்காத் என்னும் வாசலுக்கு எதிரே ஆலயப் பணியாளர்களும் வியாபாரிகளும் குடியிருக்கிற இடம்முதல் கடைசி முனையின் மேல்வீடுவரைக்கும் இருக்கிறதைப் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினான்.

32 The goldsmiths and the merchants repaired between the upper chamber of the corner and the Sheep Gate.

௩௨கடைசிமுனையின் மேல்வீட்டுக்கும் ஆட்டுவாசலுக்கும் நடுவே இருக்கிறதை பொற்கொல்லர்களும் வியாபாரிகளும் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினார்கள்.
