< Zechariah 5 >

1 I looked up again, and I saw a scroll that was flying [through the air].
Oo haddana indhaha baan kor u taagay oo wax fiiriyey, oo waxaan arkay qorniin la duubo oo duulaya.
2 The angel asked me, “What do you see?” I replied, “I see a flying scroll that is [huge], (10 yards/9 meters) long and (5 yards/4.5 meters) wide.”
Oo isna wuxuu igu yidhi, War maxaad aragtaa? Oo anna waxaan ugu jawaabay, Waxaan arkaa qorniin la duubo oo duulaya, oo dhererkiisu waa labaatan dhudhun, ballaadhkiisuna waa labaatan dhudhun.
3 Then he said to me, “On this scroll is written the [words that Yahweh is speaking to] curse the entire country. On [one side of] the scroll it is written that every thief will be banished. On [the other side] it is written that everyone who tells a lie when he is solemnly promising to tell the truth will also be banished from the country.
Markaasuu igu yidhi, Kanu waa habaarka soo baxay oo dhulka oo dhan kor maraya, waayo, ku alla kii wax xada waxaa lagu baabbi'in doonaa sida dhankiisan ku qoran, oo ku alla kii been ku dhaartana waxaa lagu baabbi'in doonaa sida dhankiisa kale ku qoran.
4 The Commander of the armies of angels says, ‘I will send [copies of] this scroll to the places where thieves live and to the houses of those who use my name when they solemnly promise to tell the truth. [The copies of] this scroll will stay in their houses, until those houses and all their wood and stones are destroyed.’”
Oo Rabbiga ciidammadu wuxuu leeyahay, Anigu waan soo bixin doonaa, oo wuxuu soo geli doonaa guriga tuugga, iyo guriga kan magacayga beenta ugu dhaarta, oo wuxuu iska joogi doonaa gurigiisa dhexdiisa, oo alwaaxdiisa iyo dhagaxyadiisaba wuu wada baabbi'in doonaa.
5 Then the angel who had been talking to me came closer to me and said, “Look up and see what is appearing!”
Markaasaa malaggii ila hadlay soo baxay, oo wuxuu igu yidhi, Bal hadda indhaha kor u taag, oo bal arag waxa uu yahay waxan soo baxaya.
6 I asked him, “What is it?” He replied, “It is a big basket [for measuring grain]. But it represents the sins that everyone in this nation has committed.”
Oo waxaan ku idhi, Waa maxay? Kolkaasuu igu yidhi, Kanu waa weel eefaah ah oo soo baxaya. Oo weliba wuxuu igu yidhi, Kanu waa muuqashadii dembigooda oo dhulka oo dhan gaadhay.
7 Then [the angel] lifted the basket’s cover, [which was made] of lead. There was a woman sitting inside the basket!
Oo bal eeg, waxaa kor loo qaaday wax culus oo laxaamad ah, oo waxaa jirtay naag eefaahda dhexdeeda fadhida.
8 The angel said, “She represents the wicked things [that people do].” Then the angel pushed her back into the basket and closed the very heavy lid [again].
Oo haddana wuxuu igu yidhi, Tanu waa xumaan. Kolkaasuu iyadii hoos ugu riday eefaahda dhexdeeda, oo wuxuu ku daboolay wixii cuslaa oo laxaamadda ahaa.
9 Then I looked up and saw two women in front of me. They [were flying toward us], with their wings spread out in the wind. Their wings were [large], like [SIM] storks’ wings. They lifted the big basket up into the sky.
Oo markaasaan indhaha kor u taagay, oo intaan wax fiiriyey ayaan arkay laba naagood oo soo baxay, oo dabayshuna waa ku jirtay baalashooda. Iyagu waxay lahaayeen baalal u eg baalasha xuurta oo kale, oo iyana intay eefaahdii kor u qaadeen ayay meel dhulka iyo samada u dhaxaysa geeyeen.
10 I asked the angel who had been talking to me, “Where are they taking that basket?”
Markaasaan malaggii ila hadlay ku idhi, Kuwanu xaggee bay eefaahda u qaadayaan?
11 He replied, “[They are taking it] to Babylonia to build a temple for it. When the temple is finished, they will set the basket there on a pedestal [for people to worship it].”
Oo isaguna wuxuu igu yidhi, Waxay u qaadayaan inay guri iyada uga dhisaan dalka Shincaar, oo markii la diyaariyo ayaa iyada lagu dejin doonaa halkaas oo meesheeda ah.
