Psalms 71

1 Yahweh, I have come to you to (get refuge/be protected); never allow me to become ashamed [because of being defeated].

याहवेह, मैंने आपका आश्रय लिया है; मुझे कभी लज्जित न होने दीजिएगा.

2 Because you always do what is right, help me and rescue me; listen to me, and save me!

अपनी धार्मिकता में हे परमेश्वर, मुझे बचाकर छुड़ा लीजिए; मेरी पुकार सुनकर मेरा उद्धार कीजिए.

3 Be [like an overhanging] rock [MET] under which I [can be] safe/protected; [be like] a strong fortress in which I am safe [DOU]. You [continually] command (OR, [Continually] command) [your angels] to rescue me.

आप मेरे आश्रय की चट्टान बन जाइए, जहां मैं हर एक परिस्थिति में शरण ले सकूं; मेरे उद्धार का आदेश प्रसारित कीजिए, आप ही मेरे लिए चट्टान और गढ़ हैं.

4 God, rescue me from wicked [people], from the power of unjust and evil men.

मुझे दुष्ट के शिकंजे से मुक्त कर दीजिए, परमेश्वर, उन पुरुषों के हाथों से जो कुटिल तथा क्रूर हैं.

5 Yahweh, my Lord, you are the one whom I confidently expect [to help me]; I have trusted in you since I was young.

प्रभु याहवेह, आप ही मेरी आशा हैं, बचपन से ही मैंने आप पर भरोसा रखा है.

6 I have depended on you all my life; you have taken care of me [IDM] since the day that I was born, [so] I will always praise you.

वस्तुतः गर्भ ही से आप मुझे संभालते आ रहे हैं; मेरे जन्म की प्रक्रिया भी आपके द्वारा पूर्ण की गई. मैं सदा-सर्वदा आपका स्तवन करता रहूंगा.

7 The manner in which I have conducted my life has been an example to many [people], because [they realize that] you have been my strong defender.

अनेकों के लिए मैं एक उदाहरण बन गया हूं; मेरे लिए आप दृढ़ आश्रय प्रमाणित हुए हैं.

8 I praise you all day long, and I proclaim that you are glorious/wonderful.

मेरा मुख आपका गुणगान करते हुए नहीं थकता, आपका वैभव एवं तेज सारे दिन मेरे गीतों के विषय होते हैं.

9 Now, when I have become an old man, do not reject/abandon me; do not abandon me now, when I am not strong any more.

मेरी वृद्धावस्था में मेरा परित्याग न कीजिए; अब, जब मेरा बल घटता जा रहा है, मुझे भूल न जाइए,

10 My enemies say [that they want to kill] me; they plan together [how they can do that].

क्योंकि मेरे शत्रुओं ने मेरे विरुद्ध स्वर उठाना प्रारंभ कर दिया है; जो मेरे प्राण लेने चाहते हैं, वे मेरे विरुद्ध षड़्‍यंत्र रच रहे हैं.

11 They say [about me], “God has abandoned him; so now we can pursue him and seize him, because there is no one who will rescue him.”

वे कहते फिर रहे हैं, “परमेश्वर तो उसे छोड़ चुके हैं, उसे खदेड़ो और उसे जा पकड़ो, कोई नहीं रहा उसे बचाने के लिए.”

12 God, do not stay far away from me; hurry to help me!

परमेश्वर, मुझसे दूर न रहिए; तुरंत मेरी सहायता के लिए आ जाइए.

13 Cause those who (accuse me/say that I have done things that are wrong) to be defeated and destroyed; cause those who want to harm me to be shamed and disgraced.

वे, जो मुझ पर आरोप लगाते हैं, लज्जा में ही नष्ट हो जाएं; जो मेरी हानि करने पर सामर्थ्यी हैं, लज्जा और अपमान में समा जाएं.

14 But [as for me], I will continually and confidently expect [you to do great things for me], and I will praise you more and more.

जहां तक मेरा प्रश्न है, मैं आशा कभी न छोड़ूंगा; आपका स्तवन मैं अधिक-अधिक करता जाऊंगा.

15 I will tell people that you do what is right; all day long I will tell people how you have saved me, although what you have done is more than I can fully understand.

सारे दिन मैं अपने मुख से आपके धर्ममय कृत्यों के तथा आपके उद्धार के बारे में बताता रहूंगा; यद्यपि मुझे इनकी सीमाओं का कोई ज्ञान नहीं है.

16 Yahweh, my Lord, I will praise you for your mighty deeds; I will proclaim that only you always act justly.

मैं प्रभु याहवेह के विलक्षण कार्यों की घोषणा करता हुआ आऊंगा; मेरी घोषणा का विषय होगा मात्र आपकी धार्मिकता, हां, मात्र आपकी.

17 God, you have taught me [many/those things] ever since I was young, and I still tell people about your wonderful deeds.

परमेश्वर, मेरे बचपन से ही आप मुझे शिक्षा देते आए हैं, आज तक मैं आपके महाकार्य की घोषणा कर रहा हूं.

18 And now, God, when I am old and my hair is gray, do not abandon me. [Stay with me] while I continue to proclaim to my children and grandchildren [HYP] that you are [very] powerful!

आज जब मैं वृद्ध हो चुका हूं, मेरे केश पक चुके हैं, परमेश्वर, मुझे उस समय तक न छोड़ना, जब तक मैं अगली पीढ़ी को आपके सामर्थ्य तथा आपके पराक्रम के विषय में शिक्षा न दे दूं.

19 God, you do many righteous deeds; [it is as though] they extend up to the sky. You have done great things; there is no one like you [RHQ].

परमेश्वर आपकी धार्मिकता आकाश तक ऊंची है, आपने महाकार्य किए हैं. परमेश्वर, कौन है आपके तुल्य?

20 You have caused me to have many troubles and to suffer much, [but] you will cause me to become strong again; when I am almost dead [HYP], you will keep me alive.

यद्यपि आप मुझे अनेक विकट संकटों में से लेकर यहां तक ले आए हैं, आप ही मुझमें पुनः जीवन का संचार करेंगे, आप पृथ्वी की गहराइयों से मुझे ऊपर ले आएंगे.

21 You will cause me to be greatly honored and you will encourage/comfort me again.

आप ही मेरी महिमा को ऊंचा करेंगे तथा आप ही मुझे पुनः सांत्वना प्रदान करेंगे.

22 I will also praise you [while I play] my harp; I will praise you, my God, for faithfully [doing what you have promised to do]. I will play hymns to praise you, the holy God whom [we] Israelis [worship].

मेरे परमेश्वर, आपकी विश्वासयोग्यता के लिए, मैं वीणा के साथ आपका स्तवन करूंगा; इस्राएल के परम पवित्र, मैं किन्‍नोर की संगत पर, आपका गुणगान करूंगा.

23 I [SYN] will shout joyfully while I play [the harp] for you; with my entire inner being I will sing because you have rescued me.

अपने होंठों से मैं हर्षोल्लास में नारे लगाऊंगा, जब मैं आपके स्तवन गीत गाऊंगा; मैं वही हूं, जिसका आपने उद्धार किया है.

24 All day long I will tell people that you act righteously, because those who wanted to harm me will have been defeated and disgraced.

आपके युक्त कृत्यों का वर्णन मेरी जीभ से सदा होता रहेगा, क्योंकि जो मेरी हानि के इच्छुक थे आपने उन्हें लज्जित और निराश कर छोड़ा है.
